Caught up to this whole thing. Kind of losing interest. I mean Koro-sensei was a really fun character for a time, but it's kind of wearing off to me. I could just rewatch GTO or something.
This isn't something special aside from the really interesting intial concept.
Assassination Classroom: End Time

Can't believe I didn't notice the Mastercard joke until I read the translation notes! Well played, AssClass.

-
that's is some realy heavy upgrade.
who is that idiot who want to nuke the school supose to parodie? -
More importantly, why not take the uncomfortable route and bear with the loads of bullets and her cold attitude? Koro wants to destroy the world. I'm sure bearing with more cleaning time to save the world surely isn't the worst thing to go through? But that's plot getting in the way, I guess.
-
"In other words, you carrying out the assassination holds no merit for the other students."
Aside from, you know, the entire planet not being blown up.
See, it's leaps in logic like that that take me out of the story and keep me from considering this a truly great series.
And I have to agree that the repetitive plot structure is getting a bit tiresome now. Hopefully, Matsui will do something to switch things up soon.
-
was the dialogue of the first couple of panels of Koro Sensei? If so I wonder who will turn out to be his father.
-
@White:

Yes it was Korosensei, but why you ask about his father??
-
Aside from, you know, the entire planet not being blown up.
Indeed.
I feel that the gravity of the impending apocalypse has been severely underplayed as of late.Atleast, the students sure are understating it quite a lot, being too busy with the bizzare bonding and other things to notice that yeah,if they fail this, they're gonna turn to space dust.Hell, even when talking about assassination, there is more emphasis on the reward than there is on the salvation of the world.
Plus, why does nobody ever call Koro out on the following:if he really loves his students that much, then why has he no qualms about killing all of them if he's alive by the deadline?Or did I miss something?
Not that any of that seriously bothers me though.AssClass is some fun stuff, although I personally prefer OPM when it comes to comedies about hilariously overpowered dudes.
-

I presume you mistook the word "rather" for "father" due to the font (almost made the same mistake myself).
-
The only one until this point who have gave me the feeling he would do what has to be done to kill Koro is Karma. And he seems to have also calm down.
Plus, why does nobody ever call Koro out on the following:if he really loves his students that much, then why has he no qualms about killing all of them if he's alive by the deadline?Or did I miss something?
They have no reason to care about that since it's their job to kill him. If he doesn't hold a grudge for that and help you it's for the better.

Hmm. Just finished reading the first chapter.. Interesting…Very interesting. The idea is fresh enough to keep me invested, so I'll definitely continue reading.
And I'm quite curious whether the writer is going make this one a short manga, or just playing day-by-day and a month in the manga's time could actually mean around 30 chapters.
Oh. An interesting thing, not long ago I've watched this documentary about octopuses and how intelligent they are; and that they might be the next one in line if humans extinct. And by next in line is their intellectual capacity might allow them to become the next dominant species
-
Shoot, they went all humanesque on the transfer student.

The second smartest animal on Earth is the Elephant, but Octopus are way up there.
-
Octopuses are by far and away the smartest of the cephalopods and I'd imagine the smartest invertebrate. I'd call them clever, not necessarily intelligent or even very social. An octopus can figure out how to open a jar easily, but they don't really communicate with each other and so don't pass on whatever knowledge they acquire in their lifetimes (which are what, 2 years before they reproduce then die?). This isn't to say that they're not amazing animals, because they are.

! Free Will - Agent for Good!
-
I found Takebayashi's "first line in the manga" pretty funny. Although he's still a far superior being than I am. :(
Hope we get the other new student or something about Asano next. The little Ritsu arc ended rather "meh" in my worthless opinion.
I like the series anyway though, but it's still no Knight Rider, the best US tv series ever.!
-
They could at least keep the full screen Ritsu.
-
I really wonder if One of the student will ever manage to keep his "I'll-kill-the-teacher-no-matter-what" mode in the whole series. Because they are the only one who can hope to succeed.
-
really really still love this manga, I just want the plot to progress, just a little bit at least. :/
-
Damm i just saw chapter 23 raw and man, it looks so good!! Asano is back, and what that girl do to that guy!:getlost:

Assassination Classroom #24 Raw: http://juinjutsuteam.forumcommunity.net/?t=53209502
-
I'd love it if somehow at the end of the series all these stupid weaknesses added up into the final plan some how.
-
"That girl isn't as sophisticated a bitch."
I laughed hard.
"An eye for an eye. Let's give them an even greater dose of humiliation."
Oh hell yes.
-
"Come to think of it, this guy's from Class E. So whatever I say or do, I'm in the right."
Ah, the true mentality of an Internet debater.
Good chapter though. Sweet revenge is always fun.
So, only 9 months left. That means we're about a fourth of the way through? Of course, Matsui will probably spend more on the later chapters, so maybe around 100-120 chapters?
-

I totally think this is going to happen. It will be the largest Home Along, Rube Goldberg, mega complicated super plan ever created, but when he is certainly doomed the students will decide not to kill him.
-

Thats the funny thing about stories, especially serialized manga stories. You can move at practically a real time pace and cover months of time in a chapter… but it can also slow down to the point where months and months of chapters cover only a single day... or five minutes. (Looking at you, Frieza!)
The series is a super hit, and so while the author might stick to his guns for whatever plan he has, I don't think its a series that'll be over in just two years, regardless of how close the deadline comes (or even passes!)
-
I hope Asano don't interfere with whatever Koro-sensei plans. Its already time to those bastard know the true terror of class E.
-

Well, so far we have
When he tries to look cool, his weaknesses show.
He is surprisingly quick to panic.
He’s petty.
His punches are weak.
Boobs
He is humble and subservient to his superiors.
He has no patience for wire puzzles.
He gets motions sickness
He can’t sleep on a pillow other than his own
He’s worried about appearances.
He can’t handle hot food.
Getting wet
Juicy gossipI could see him getting distracted by trying to look cool for a set of boobs, fed spicy food, head enlarged to giant size while on something giving him motion sickness after going weeks without sleep from his pillow being stolen…

This is some awesome stuff.
Got them Neuro vibes. And I love getting Neuro vibes.
-
The last panel kinda reminded me of Thriller Bark.
-
God i hate the director so much.
But that last page is good and i'm realy eager to see what happens next. -
Yeah, 23 was great. I actually really felt for him there. I hope it can keep up this kind of hot-blooded vibe. I like the darker emotional tones too…
-
I really liked Asano's part in this chapter. He's such a Matsui character. Even when he's being kind, you can feel the aura of oppression and the cruelty of his actions. It felt like he was petting that kid on the head and going "there, there, everything's fine, you can trust me. After all, I'm the only one you can trust."

Awesome alternative cover, even if I thought it was a butt the first time I saw it.

You ruined my illusion!! =( WHYYYYYY?!
-
… I thought it was a butt too. :/
-
-
So how often do we get a chapter?
-
-
Hmm.. I finally read and caught up with the chapters here… and thing this manga isn't bad, though I can probably already tell where all this is headed story wise, but still.. very well done. :D
-
I don't really like the way it's been developing though. The assassination plot isn't played as much as the first chapters, it's beginning to feel like some …minor background. I liked it when there was some serious assassination attempt, and the teacher ended up helping the student progress. Now it's starting to feel like ur typical 'help the students' sort of story.
And I also hope the other formerly introduced student gets developed too. But the manga is still very recent, so theres plenty of room for development
-
The first one was good but this…
Ansatsu Kyoshitsu vol2:
-
He's gonna start whoring the alternative covers
-
NOH MAH GOD chapter 23, I love the build up.
-
First thing I thought about the cover was why Michelangelo was there.
-
Ah, cool.
With chapter 23 the author was referring to the Cognitive Dissonance theory with that bitch's behavior. I'm just reading a book about it.
