That's a pretty low quality rendition, but I got to hear the high quality and I was horribly disappointed. It actually sounds like the master was poorly recorded - you can hear the microphone turn on/off, as well as a section of the full single where the sound overpowers the mic's resolution.
It's the worst full single I've heard since Soul Eater's OP, and that one wasn't technically lackluster, it's just that the extended song was less awesome than the TV version.
Real shame, I've really grown to like Jojo's OP song and I'll miss it in Battle Tendency. Would have liked for it to be the series "main theme" but that's never been Araki's style, anyway.

@Malintex Terek: Have you seen the full version of "Rewrite" from Fullmetal Alchemist? After the first verse it falls apart.
As for the Giorno/Jolyne pairing, there's an age difference of 10 years. Just saying.

That's one of the gayest pictures i've ever seen! Can't believe they reduced that godly art to such disgusting looks. Is Caesar wearing a female lingerie? GTFO!
The anime is a big doo-doo! It looks like some american cartoon (not like those cool cartoons from the 80s-90s, but on the level of Street Fighter II cartoon).
Heck i made it so far as to watch episode 7, but if they think i'll watch season 2, then they're wrong. I know that things change, but sometimes why change it? I'd rather watch a different Jojo, but i really dislike the new one. The animation is very ugly.
I know things are supposed to be exaggerated, but when all of the cast are yelling the whole time it's SO ANNOYING!
Araki, what have they done to you man…
In the end, i'm one disappointed fan...

What? The costumes are taken directly from the manga as far as I know. Also, nostalgia goggles aside, old JoJo didn't have godly art, it looked like an awkward emulation of HnK. We also discussed the, ahem, fabulous nature of the series a few pages back; that thing you call "gay" has been there since the beginning of the series.
I'm not even sure why I'm responding to this.

Apparently, JoJo anime twitter has confirmed Battle Tendency starting from episode 10 and a new composer for it, Iwasaki Taku known for TTGL and Katanagatari soundtracks. Expect vocal and hip hop elements for background music.

The updated character designs are here for a good reason - to fit Araki's drawing style which has developed greatly over the years so that there wouldn't be too much of a visual alteration between different parts. Unless you don't like everything Araki has drawn since part 3 or 4, I don't see why you wouldn't like how the new anime looks.

Anyway Zamunda, all of the complaints you mentioned also apply to the manga are improvements. The art style is being altered from the manga because honestly… part 1 didn't look very good. They're trying to find a good middle ground between Phantom Blood's art style and the art style of later parts. As for the animation, those are budget issues. Long running series have to conserve their funds. I don't think it looks bad anyway.

Oooh that sounds good. I really like the current music, its dramatic orchestral style fits Phantom Blood wonderfully but something more jazzy sounds like it would be better for BT.
