General non-One Piece Collectibles v.1

Now I remember I've seen her lot of times before, she is really popular and I don't even know who is. :wassat:
Anyway, these are the only non-onepiece figures I have. The first is the Sega's prize Yoko Littner, even if it cost not so much it's really nice, I totally love it.

The second one is a non-official figure of Tina from Tekken that I received as a gift, I was said it is hand-done. It isn't done with pvc, it's something harder and weighter and similar to resin; the sculpt is good but the colours aren't as well. It's as tall as Yoko, so it's around 26 cm.

That Saber Lilly isn't the ordinary one, I have the ordinary one but I don't think I've seen this one.

She's pretty nice looking, with a lovely Calibur scabbard, also the Yoko is great, I still don't have mine.

Well over what she's going for on GSC online shop now. About 5k yen more. At the time it didn't feel like such a bad deal, since she was really rare then. Now I feel kinda cheated :(

But yea, makes you wonder if there are any really rare figures out there now, given how reissues just keep flying in. When she got 1st in the GSC poll, I even laughed off the speculation that she would get a reissue.

Got Xillia in Japanese since it's good practice, but it'll be released in English is 2013.

Sometimes I wonder… what if I end up HATING the characters or just... not liking them that much. Purchasing the figure could end up being a real waste of money. But I'm a big fan of Tales of series in general. I love the the character design, and Alter is great, so~

Speaking of Tales of. Each year, they hold a Tales of Festival and they sell pretty limited goodies there.

Too bad I know nothing about Japanese.
Hope to pick up Tales of Xillia English version. I wish they release it sooner than later. The Japanese would get Tales of Xillia 2 soon.

Ordered Izaya too. Altair line is really tempting. Great choice of character model and ended up mostly in great sculpt too.

Took my Beach Queens Yozo to the beach, (these are really small), 1/10 is puny, but still very nice

9500 JPY (around 7500-8000 after discount depends on the shop) for a 1/8 scale figure.
And it is from Kotobukiya, so expensive indeed.

But the quality seem on par if not surpassing the Altair line. I really hope he would turn out well.

Quality wise, Artfx is ok from what I've seen of superheroes they've done. Though those didn't have such details as Vash here does. Going off other Kotobukiya I own, not just Bishes', the final product is usually nice. The price is probably the biggest killer for this figure. It's too much for me to think of getting it for a character I liked somewhat.

BQ are very nice, totally recommend getting a few. I love my Yozo to bits, very cute…

! The plastic in this Vol 2 looks a bit better than Vol 1. You could tell Gon from vol 1 was made from almost the cheapest pvc in history. But this second volume seems to be up a notch. Still not the same material as ichiban kuji though obviously. The sculpts are nice. Leorio is pretty normal…his face could have shown more emotion. Killua is captured perfectly in my opinion and im refering to the 2011 anime, not the original manga or anime series.

Painting on Leorio is kinda bad, his glasses not detailed enough and I wish they used some transparent plastic instead of painting (clumsily) the lenses.

I tried to watch T&B a long while ago since a huge bunch of fellow artist friends recommended it to me and the best thing I can say about it that it was 'dull'.
But holy shit! MSP is amazing, makes me want to get all the figures they make despite of series they belong to.
