I admit that I only nominated penguin on his own, monumental cock up on my part. I didn't read the rules properly regarding the use of double teams, I thought you were only allowed to pick one character so after some debate I went with Penguin and his awesome hat.

Hopefully Shachi will be allowed into the fray with his best bud penguin, they're meant to be together.

You can campaign for anyone you want, or no one if you're so inclined. Who you nominated has no bearing on that. Lots of people lurk during the tournament, and just cast their vote each round.

You don't have to be artistic to campaign either. While many members like to make images or gifs or amvs, simply posting "vote for X" is an acceptable way of campaigning too. And, although you should always ask, most members don't have a problem with other people using their campaigns. So you can do that too.

Thank you very much for the clarification! I realize now I posted this in the wrong thread, so thanks for replying in general. I may try to come up with something because I nominated him, but it's good to know that if i get busy it's not that big of a deal.

See, the problem with that is that characters with hats just covers an absurd amount of characters. ABSURD I SAY!

Remember when you guys eventually get to posting your campaigns to mind the size of the images and posts in general you're posting. Overloading the bandwidth just makes everything clunky when trying to scroll down a thread and blowing up the width of the thread is also obnoxious. So just a fyi.

We tend to have one every year, and they only get bigger. A few years ago we had one between Crocodile and Garp (which lasted for 60+ pages and also ended in a tie.. ironically, they also went against Brook in a three way match…).

It's just a matter of who or what~

People sure tend to nominate a lot of random characters/animals and the classics get forgotten. Unfortunately most of the random ones will leave the tournament rather quickly anyway but still. '_'
