If the Kabuto were to merge with a beetle Zoan, the name "Kabuto" would finally make sense…
Well, he was trained by a guy in a beetle costume. It seems like Usopp has a beetle theme going on.

Usopp is weakest male.
Nami is the weakest female
They're both weak in the crew however Sanji would kill Usopp if he tried to seriously fight Nami so Nami > Usopp!
I have a question about the word "nakama". It's a word used by Luffy all the time to his crew. Now, my question is, what's the plural of the word "nakama"? It's also "nakama"? "You are all my nakama" or "You are all my nakamas"?
At least in japanese its the same word in both plural and singular; "You're my nakama" & "They're my precious nakama!". However in english I have seen people play with the word nakama and make it "nakamas" in plural, but its still wrong.
TL;DR One nakama, many nakama

I think the plural in japanese is nakamatachi.
Everybody acknowledges Usopp's main strength to be his marksmanship and versatility, but that doesn't mean that he's more powerful than Nami, the girl that has control over natural disasters. She's the one that is being truly underestimated here.
She does't control natural disasters, she can simply make use of certain aspects of physics and chemistry as they relate to weather with the tools she has been given/acquired.
Yes: Rain, thunder, fog, lightning etc (which she can guide, not control)
No: Earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes and similar wind-phenomena
EDIT: My own question:
What's the sound effect in the bottom right panel?

Uh, no, she can use wind too.

Fair enough, but I meant full on natural disasters like hurricanes, typhoons, twisters etc
But yes, she can use wind.

it says boon which is the same than the english boom, aka an explosion.
Why do people keep linking to MangaReader when it no longer has manga up? At least not for me.

It's still there for non-US readers.

It still has manga up, but only if you're not in USA.
My question that doesn't deserve a thread:
How did the other Supernovas (non-SHs) manage in the New World?
We have been thought that bounty roughly equals strenght. Luffy had the 2nd highest bounty back at Sabaody (Pre-timeskip) and Kid, who had the highest bounty, had just 15 million more then Luffy.
Now we have all sen how much stronger Luffy has gotten over the timeskip, he is surely stronger the kid was pre-timeskip so how did the supernovas manage? We saw Bonny get caught but thats most likely because she ran into BB.
So haw did Hawkins, Drake and Appoo manage? They didn't seem strong enough to surpass the New World and their bounties weren't so exceptional either. Even less Uruge or Capone. So what was it? Hidden potential?

Bounty don't equals strength, but established level of threat. Daring and extremely brutal pirate can be seen as bigger threat than relatively better behaving one, even if they are on about the same power level, or the latter one is stronger. Besides not all of the supernovas may had decided to display their power to it's full extent (they may had not need to).

It's all about not getting in the way of the big shots before gathering enough power and experience to sail around the NW with no problems (which is not the style of the Strawhats). X Drake might also not fit with this description, but we don't exactly know if he even ended confronting Kaido.
The New World is not only about the Yonko and their allies. It has plenty of weak pirate crews like the Brownbeard Pirates and the pirate crew that Kid crucified when he got there.

i viewed it the same way, it's like athletes being drafted, the top draft picks are new to the professional scene, but they're still dominant players. (supernovas) once they get the gist of how the other top players work, they'll progress faster than the regular pirates crossing in. Look at the pirate crew zoro destroyed and all the fodder on FI, if it wasn't for hodi they'd all of been in the NW (or in prison with smoker there).
This may be a ridiculus question, and could just be the translation.
Is Jimbe(Jinbe) questioning the results of the training Luffy went through in the lower left panel?
Does anyone else wish the world in One Piece had a name? I am always hesitant to call it Earth because, well, it’s pretty damn different. Wonder why Oda hasn’t shared the name with us.

If I had to venture I guess I would just think this is Jinbe getting fired up and kind of his way of saying 'that all you got, homie?' Or maybe he is trying to pull Luffy's full strength out so he can really experience what Luffy can do.

Jinbe just wanted Luffy to get serious because he needed to see if he was strong enough to beat Hodi also at the end of the arc he was thinking about joining Luffy's crew but could not yet due to being allied with big mom.

The planet is called one piece that is why Roger was laughing when he said find One piece because they're were already on it lol.

That made me laugh harder than it should have….
You're probably right though, it makes sense.. I thought he might have been trying to tell him it's not going to be enough in the New World.

I don't think Luffy was using gear 2nd or haki in that attack so he was not serious
@Law:

He was definitely using gear 2nd, he doesn't use Jet Stamp without it. Unless his training resulted in him being able to do so. He may have just done the "Gear 2nd" off panel.
The way i understood is that he was using gear2 just in the leg he wanted to do the stamp with, his leg wasn´t black though, so he probably didn´t use Haki. I wouldn´t read too much into what Jinbe said, Luffy was just using a move he already used 2 years ago. I want to see Jinbe saying the same when he gets hit with Elephant Gun.
Okay, this has been bothering me for a bit. Post time skip Luffy seems to be able to use gear second on any limb he wants and only that limb will smoke and, presumably, get stronger and faster. In the anime however Luffy’s whole body changes color like it is regular old G2. Is the anime’s interpretation wrong or is my imagination that’s failing me? Has Oda confirmed what is going on with this in any way?

I don't know where I read this, or if it's true; but I think the anime messed that part up, in the manga it clearly shows that he's only using it on a certain limb. Still, I don't if it's confirmed, but I think that's the case…maybe..

This is probably because in the anime, Luffy's entire skin goes pink when he activates Gear 2 while in the manga, Luffy only has smoke coming from his body during Gear 2. I think it would look too weird if in the anime, Luffy's arms went pink but not the rest of his body.
To tell you the truth, I don't really like Oda's idea of single limb Gear 2. Blood circulation doesn't work that way.
Blood circulation doesn't work that way.
Unless he does it in a split second.
- All of the Supernovae (besides Zoro) were seen on a recent color spread, post-timeskip, alive and well! So they're fine.
By this logic Sabo must also be alive.
It's still there for non-US readers.
16 characters of sad story.

To be fair, the manga is in black and white.
I also would not go down the road of questioning the scientific merits of things that happen in one piece… You will end up very disappointed.
Sabo wasn't shown on any colourspread beside the trade volumes. And he is alive.

He was shown on the cover of manga 596 as an adult with Ace and Luffy. I would consider that closer to cannon than the colour spread at the end. I also think Sabo is alive, I am just questioning the validity of taking as fact images that you see in a colour spread.

Gear 2 Luffy was shown on the cover of Volume 40 and the only difference was that his body was releasing smoke. No pink skin.

The thing is, that color spread has given us canon facts. Drake's look is completely different, Kid has a ton more scars, Killer has a goatee, Bonney wears a fur cloak and a tricorne, Apoo sports a black headphone helmet, Bege has a beard… Trafalgar Law is in fact wearing the same hat in that color spread (a cap instead of a beanie), that he now wears on Punk Hazard. From this, we can assume that the other Supernovae will appear again with their new looks. The only one who didn't change and hasn't been talked about since is Urouge, who was also absent from the Brownbeard panel. So I guess he might be dead.
Urouge ain't dead. He just went back to the sky.
Would Sengoku be stronger than the 3 Admirals? I know, hard to say, but I've always been curious if Sengoku could defeat an Admiral 1v1.
@The:

Sengoku is very likely to be equal in strength with Garp, who is strongly implied to be above the level of the former Admiral trio. Kuzan looked up to him and he threatened to kill Sakazuki after Ace died.
does anyone remember why jango joined the marines?
i cant remember.
if i remember correctly it was an accident (precise, i know) , you'd have to find the cover stories to make sure though (aswell as how it actually happened)

No accident. It happened this way= Jango met Fullbody during a dance compettion and became friends. He ws sneaking off when a pirate crew attacked and had Fullbody out numbered. Jango jumped in to help his new friend, afterwards Fullbody reluntantly arrested Jango since he did have a bounty. But Fullbody spoke up at Jango's trial, result was that Jango was aquitted and Fullbody demoted in rank.
They were about go their separate ways, Jango was about to use his hypnotism to make Fullbody forget about the friendship when Captain Hina walked by, getting the attention of both men. Last page of their mini arc showed that Jango joined the Marines, both he and Fullbody was assigned on the crew of the captain that caught their attention = Hina.
So a very short reason he joined the marines= because of a woman

During the battle, Usopp shot a tree limb that knocked out Jango, when he woke up the Kuro pirates were sailing far off in the distance. So they may not have wanted to (save Kuro, bastard doesn't care about crew under him) but they had no choice but to abandon him.
They forgot him. See cover of chapter 127.
Not exactly forgotten more like they didn't have time to look for him as Luffy told them to take Kuro and get out.

Just to clarify, Usopp shot him with an explosive star in the face, after Zoro cut down a tree branch that was blocking his line of fire.
