@onemoment You don't remember Vice City?

@Johnny-B-Decent I did not.

Would be funny given the complaints about the fifth game being labeled misogynistic. Which I believe was due to none of the female characters being likable.
Nevermind the fact the most unlikable characters in the same game were male

We’re apparently getting a Blade game

I miss the part in vice city where you get to shoot people to get territories (night club, restaurants, malls) and get money from them after they become yours.
-
So GDQ did a run with Gyromite being played by a dog.
Yes. An actual dog.
-
Recently finished Fire Emblem: Binding Blade (the one with Roy in it). A fairly unbalanced game IMO, so not one of my favorites, but I still had a good time with it.
Anyway, since I have too much free time on my hands, here's my breakdown of every playable character in the game.
-
There's quite a few parallels of the characters from Binding Blade and the very original FE game, which is probably why there are so many characters in this game.
Just as an example: Roy/Marth, Marcus/Jeigen, Allen/Cain, Lance/Abel, Bors/Draug, Wolt/Gordin, Merlinus/Malledus...
You get the idea.
-
I just started this game a few days ago and yeah I’ve been spoiled by the new era games but god only Roy gets romantic supports?
And Blazing Sword was no damn better about this which I forgotten about.
Still going to play through it though.
-
Supports are a real pain in Binding Blade since they give you no indication about who can support with who and each unit is limited to only 5 support conversations. I didn't even bother actively pursuing them aside from supporting Roy with Lilina.
EDIT: In other news, I finally went and got a PS5. Now I begin the process of catching up on 3+ years of games, starting with Miles Morales and then GOW: Ragnarok.

Apparently Warner Brothers is doubling down on live service games and getting away from single player experience games despite the bombshell that was Suicide squad Kill the Justice league and the gigantic success of Hogwarts Legacy
-
I shouldn’t have to point out the fact that most of the single player experiences that WB has churned out has been Lego related games which are interchangeable.
And while Gotham Knights, Back 4 Blood, & Suicide Squad are going to stand as shining examples of WB’d live service failures. The idea that if they just make single player experiences without microstransactions or DLC that they’ll automatically be successful while is a recurring argument that I’ve seen mentioned repeatedly. That ignores the last 40 something years of single player games (good & bad) that failed to make money and in some instances killed their developer and or publisher.
Making a game is easy (or mostly not impossible) making a game that gamers are going to flock to in droves and make you a shit ton of money whether it’s a single player or multiplayer experience with or without day 1 or post launch DLC is far far more difficult.

SNK is reviving Fatal Fury, meanwhile CAPCOM keeps pretending Darkstalkers never existed.
At this rate Primal Rage will come back before Darkstalkers...
-
If they are bringing back old fighting games they should really bring back Bloody Roar

Considering they keep rereleasing the original games I think they know it exists. The problem is likely the same reason for why we don’t have Legends 3 or Viewtiful Joe 3
Low sales.
-
I'd rather have Muscle Bomber/Saturday Night Slam Masters back first.

Brief look at the Batman game that was retooled into Shadows Of Mordor
Damn, a Batman game with the Nemesis system would have been dope as fuck.
Please WB just release the patent if you'll genuinely never do anything worthwhile with it.

Did anyone play this game?

As a lifelong Power Rangers/Tokusotsu fan, I'm really tempted to get this. Only thing that's kinda iffy is the cutscenes.
-
Just now seeing this...

Yes, I kickstarted it!
It tried very hard to be Suikoden, and the updated graphics are nice, but it was not Suikoden.
It's fine, it's not bad and the combat is okay, but it never hits the story heights it's daddy did.
-
As a big Battle Network fan this game caught my eye
-
-
The thing that kills me is these people are just going to review bomb the game once it actually drops anyway.
-
I wouldn't have thought Silent Hill 2 would have so many haters.
Honestly, though, I've never played it.

The original I’m sure had it’s haters like any game does.
But the remake’s haters are in another category.
It’s funny how a few years ago there was some incredulousness over certain games getting perfect scores. Now we’ve hit a point where people are so bothered by a game they don’t like getting good not perfect scores mind you that they have to edit pages to have bullshit scores.

Vampire Survivors is getting THE dlc that a game such as it should absolutely have.
And for anyone that hasn't played Vampire Survivors yet... you should. It's five bucks and you'll probably get months of play out of it and its only basically every console and PC.
