Sket Dance is second? Some people are going to be happy. It's a rare sight. I don't like that's it's higher than Gintama, but s'all good.
And ST&RS has its 8th chapter published this issue. Survival game st&rts next week. I hold my breath.

I'd recommend not holding your breath for weeks at a time. Air is usually necessary.
Hahahahaha that's a good one. Even Sket Dance is overtaking Naruto. It's popularity is gradually dropping it seems.
At how many chapters is ST&RS by the way? I wanna know how high it ranks.
Kurogone seems to be very generic story.
A weak boy wants be a hero (takes place in a highschool)….
oh and he was phenomenal eye sight....
Wow, Sket Dance is oh so high. Ikkyuu unexpectedly got axed at 15 (was expecting more on 17/18). Kurogane is gonna get serialized, wow. I kind of liked the one shot a bit.

Yeah, I like Gintama better, but both has it's up and down…
And ST&RS, even though I like the concept, not too sure about the characters...
I forgot to add seems there will be character popularity results in toriko.
Hahaha its funny the chapter that is being ranked of Bleach is 453 it seems not many ppl like the "twist" so i doubt that will go up before the "suprise arrival".
What??? Bleach is still in the bottom 3 even after being on the cover twice? Awe manXD
When do they announce the top rankings for one-shots that appeared in Jump NEXT? I'm curious as to how Horikoshi's one-shot "Uchuu-Shonen Bulge" did with the readers.
And another series bites the dust.
Wow Sket Dance…....the anime is really helping it. This is great.
Wow, hopped on the Sket Dance bandwagon at the right time.
Yeah, Sket Dance in 2nd place is so awesome.
Considering that this is the same manga that used to lurk in the bottom 5, in danger of cancellation.
Almost exact opposite situation of…..
So was the canceled series any good, or was it just as forgetable as Minea X Minea ?
I must literaly be the only person who actively remembers that !
We don't really have a general manga sales thread do we? I kinda wish we did…

Woot, one of my favorites Kingdom is doing well.
And Shingeki no Kyojin is selling extremely well considering where it's published.
OP is, as usual, on a complete different scale than everything else.
Kekkaishi is still selling ok, even tho it ended right?
I'd recommend not holding your breath for weeks at a time. Air is usually necessary.
This is troublesome, indeed it is. Gentlemen do not go back on their word, and therefore I have to find a solution to this problem. And as always, relativity theory comes to aid!
! How do I hold my breath for a week, if the maximum time I can hold my breath in normal circumstances equals to one and a half minute? Time dilation is the answer!
! > T = 1.5 min = 90 s
t = 1 week = 604 800 s
c = 300 000 m/s
! What was the formula for determining dime dilation again? Ah, yes!
! > t = T/√(1-(U^2/c^2))
! From this equation, let's express the velocity U.
! > U = c√(1-( T^2/t^2))
! All that is left, is to insert the actual data into the equation.
! > U = 300 000√(1-(90^2/604 800^2)) = 300 000√(1-(8 100/365 783 040 000)) = 300 000√(1-0.000000022) = 300 000√0.999999977 = 300 000 * 0.999999988 = 299 999.997 m/s
! Answer: U = 299 999.997 m/sAnd, as simple as that, to keep my word true, all I have to do, is to hold my breath while moving at 299 999.997 meters per second.

Heh, good to see Negima holding it's own with the best of them.
(even if Fairy Fail is above it)
And yes, a weekly sales thing would be pretty fun.
I'd like to see how all manga volumes sell weekly.
Just make a thread, but I could see it functioning here too.
Horray for Shingeki no Kyojin. Never heard of kingdom though, is there a group that scans it?
Edit: Nvm I've read it before but I forgot the name because there were only 5 or 6 chapters. It wasn't that great in my opinion though, unless it gets way better later on…
So here is the cover for Jump
Lets see if it will survive, from what I got from mangahelpers the plot is like Hikaru no Go.

ASDASA How is Fairy Tail so damn fucking high gags
Also, who is that guy from the jump cover??
No kidding, why are there so many Fairy Tail fans? What is it about the series that's such a draw for the manga consumer public, I don't get it
I'd guess the same thing about One Piece: There are many different characters and many different powers(regardless how original or interesting they are). There is also the companionship theme and lots of action.
Also, the first arcs weren't all that bad: it managed to grab a decent-sized following that keeps reading the series.

I dunno, I guess lots of people like bland, uninspired shit. Bleach used to do well in WSJ for ages, even when the volume sales weren't that impressive.

Same reason Avatar made 2 billion dollars. The common masses go for the familiar, generic crap regardless of any actual innovation, quality or soul.

I watched Avatar hoping for James Cammeron to impress me once again only to find out that the story is Pocahontas just replace the indians with blue cats and the army and scientists with english settlers. The only thing that movie really had going for it was the pwetty graphics and we all know how far pwetty graphics can help a series out.
An I still say that Mashima is a step above OH GREAT
FT is nowhere close to being the worst shounen manga/anime ever, much less manga in general.
At worst it's simply generic.
Same applies to Bleach. It's just that these are crappy in relation to their popularity is all.
The fact that there's so popular gives the series extra burden to be good and live up to it's name so it's extra disappointing when it's bad. Plus quality aside, I have never read a manga that is so soulless such as Fairy Tail or Bleach.
Wow, Fairy Tail is popular outside of the internet? I seriously thought Japan didn't give a crap about it..

It wouldn't have an anime if no one in Japan gave a crap about it.

That. Doesn't. Make. It. A GOOD SERIES!!! That doesn't make it a passable series, either! Dude, I don't mind it if you like FT, even if it is soulless, but come on! Can't you think of anything better than "It's not the worst manga in the world!! That's something, right?"
Not really.
I've only read the first 13 volumes of Fairy Tail. I like it so far, even though it'S very cliche. I like the weirder character designs.

Do you…..know something we don't ?
One Piece and Gintama in top 5, Bleach and Reborn in bottom 5.
Tranquility.
The first rated chapter of St&rs is 5th? That's cool, but it was the first chapter. Hope it stays fairly high.
Does Enigma has a good volume sales or things like that? Because lately the ones that seem to usually occupy the bottom are Nurarihyon no Mago, Enigma and Magico. I heard Mago got a good volume sales and has an anime running right now, so it might remain for a while, which puts the other two in danger…
The sales of Enigma and Magico are not significant enough for both series to escape form cancellation. I believe that the only way for these two series to survive is if the new series fare even worse.
I have no idea why one piece was #1 :( And why is kuroko barely escaping the bottom five all the time? Should be in the middle at least…
Magico and Enigma in the bottom five again? That's starting to really break my heart, hope they'll climb out of that soon. Seems like Enigma has been at the bottom for awhile too.
Is that ST&RS first ranking? Fifth is a nice spot, I'm going to keep my fingers crossed and pray that it'll manage to keep it up.
Phew! for a moment i thought Bleach was climbing ranks! You stay there in your crap box!
