Oh, almost time for the match I've been waiting for - Brook vs. Hiking Bear. I'm so happy that it should (SHOULD) start on the weekend so I'll at least have a little time for some nonstop campaigning. I'm never home on the weekdays. DX

Aw man, I missed the beginning of the tournament! :sad: I didn't fulfill my civic duty to vote. I'm angry at myself mostly. I've been way too busy the past 2 months.

I look over all of the previous matches and I have to say that this is the most interesting tournament so far! So many twist and turns, it's a bloodbath out there. I didn't expect the field to look like this, but that's what makes it exciting I guess.

Well it's time to get active and vote.

Yeah, could've saved cricket too. I'm not sure who I would have vote for in Buggy vs Otohime; it's a hard choice. I wonder what will happen when they go up against someone next round? That'll be crazy.

I would have definitely voted for Hattori this year. Your appreciation for the character is admirable, and I looked at your campaigns and they were awesome! I especially like the Holy Grail one. You would have definitely won my vote.

THIS IS WHY I KNOW I'LL HAVE TO CAMPAIGN!! I might not have been here long, but I know there's a lotta Hiking Bear love and I DON'T WANT THE SOUL KING LOSING!! I'm really sad that I don't have animation of the SK to use right now, because I'd be going to town on an AMV, but I'll do the best I can to make your decision easier, Nia!

Oh, so Sabo won, eh? He certainly had better campaigns, especially considering Roger had none. Felt like a short match cuz it only had six pages, oddly. I wouldn't have voted even if I was here because I don't like either for different reasons, but as far as personality goes, Sabo is much better. I honestly don't know why his VA is that big of a deal. I've yet to hear it, but still.

NEVER! I shall not allow you to take this precious vote away from the one who truly deserves it! Hear me now. Your character is noble and good in his own right, but the true supporters of Hiking Bear will not give in so easily. Those who fight for values and respect, give your aid to the Bear! Kisoto's Brootori definitely wins best Hattori avatar. Damn, I was already indecisive about this match, and this only makes it worse. (And even if I had showed up for the Buggy vs. Otohime, I would have been torn… Maybe I'll vote the queen later... I can't guarantee anything, though.)

Is it just me but is there a lot less votes than usual this year? I feel like that first round last year averaged like 500 votes per round.

Yeah, there are. The site in general has gotten less traffic with the end of the "epic war" I believe. There was some initial excitement for the timeskip, but that died off fairly quickly.

It doesn't really have anything to do with the tournament itself. The final rounds might push into the 600 votes again like they did for 2009, but only time will tell I think.

Yes and no.

We had to rediscuss some rules due to something else entirely and then decide based on that what we were going to do when it came to the Oto/Buggy match.

When it comes to if one or both are moving on? Yes, I'm fairly certain i know what will happen. We're just waiting on something before we outright announce it. Sorry for the extreme vagueness.

I'd say chances are good that the majority of people will be happy with what we've decided.

I assume you guys are waiting to see if there will be any other ties. Then you could pit Otohime and Buggy against the other two. Anyway, they are both great characters and I wish them both the best.

Alternatively you could have a joint Otohime/Buggy ballot that will rocket through to the finals.
