Buggy has the advantage of being a much more established character with future appearances, years of growth, and connections to characters that are popular themselves (Mr. 3, Shanks,etc.) He also has had anime appearances, and the benefit of having had campaigns from past years. Even if all your campaigns are new, chances are a lot of voters from previous years might fondly remember past campaigns/matches.

For Otohime it's a ridiculously tough match. I guess no one said it would be easy to fight against such giant forces … but Otohime did it, and she deserves all the support she can get. Especially since this may be the only year she has a strong chance as she rides the wave of recent events.

Sorry Buggy supporters. I'm on Otohime's side now :P

Well flashback chars are loved around here , I mean I love Otohime too but I'm just a great Buggy fan , having connections to people doesn't really happen for the tournament and the anime absoulutly didn't help him with all the filler that annoyed a lot of people+ the old messiah campaigns aren't loved too much anymore.Also appearing recently in the manga helps a lot , this is surely also a very though match for Buggy

Every match usually has 300-400 votes, right? Not all voters pay attention to this thread at all. Or post in it.

I agree it's tough to call, but more than anything because there's a lot of people whose opinion we don't know. And since I'm supporting otohime, I'll play safe and assume all those are buggy supporters that need to be swayed :D

But he is a runaway favorite, and the specualtion about his chances of becoming a shichibukai up his chances enormously. Plus, as Noqanky has no eloquently stated, Otohime will probably only have this one chance to make a difference, since, one can safely assume, chances of seeing much of her in future are relatively limited. Otohime needs to make her mark, not only for the sake of fish and mer-folk everywhere, but in the name of equality between the races, and for the children–all of them, and this Tournament is where she must make it.

Lol, I don't think anyone is going to vote for him based on a bat from the WG visiting him. There is no runaway favorite when the sample size is fairly evenly split. Also, Otohime's chances could improve once she's animated.

Got a snatch of sleep but that's more than enough. To be honest I think I dreamt of Otohime-sama which is kind of weird but shows how big of a fan I am (yeah that makes sense dude). It's indeed an awesome battle and I sincerely hope that we can convince enough people to make the dream come true. Otohime-sama all the way!

I'm out of the aluminum cans, but I still have the liter, muahaha! I'm also eating one of my twinkies and one of my king sized chocolate bars. This is not helping my cavaty whatsoever. (go out and buy some if you're craving it so much)

There's only two knew pics I drew. One is from a year ago and the other two are webcam pics I edited. But those two I drew I drew in reletively fast sequences. Considering I drew them one after the other today I'm quite proud of myself. The tourney helps to ward of procrastination!
