I mean, really, no offense, but this is seriously all I've been seeing. It's kinda sad that there really isn't much to talk about anymore…

There's not really much else to talk about in the DVD topics when all the announced DVDs have been released.

But, we can try to change the subject.

I pre-ordered One Piece Collection 1 a few weeks ago. I'll be happy to give my opinions on it when I get it. I'm just glad from what I hear that the DVD's have dual audio I would like the option of watching in Japanese. In fact I'd much prefer watching it in Japanese… not that there is anything wrong with FUNi dub on the contrary they have done a wonderful job, but after see nearly 600 episode of one piece in Japanese I really become accustomed to their voices.

I pre-ordered a copy from Right Stuf's FUNimation sale. I wanted to pre-order another copy for my young cousin who's a big fan of the series, but knowing how generous my aunt and uncle are, they'd definitely buy her a copy anyway.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but why doesn't Funimation air One Piece in there own channel? I know that not a lot of people have it, but it's a start. I don't really watch the channel a whole lot, but I'm sure people do.

Funimation has been trying to get it on more of the providers with various petitions and reminders on the blog but yeah, it hasn't happened yet for all of the major providers (at the very least Comcast doesn't have the linear channel).

Actually, considering how much people are clamoring for Season 4 I'm surprised Toei hasn't been able to get it on TV (and, for that matter, why Namco Bandai still hasn't released any more of the One Piece games). This says the series is doing well enough DVD and merchandise only - imagine was a TV deal could do for it.

But yeah, discussion is basically running around in circles as each new con comes and goes until we hear something solid. Personally I don't mind hearing/talking about the cons because even if there's no One Piece Funimation might get something else I want (or things other people want).

It seems obvious to me. Potential broadcasters probably don't see fan demand for DVDs as a reflection of an audience who will watch it on T.V. And if it's not on T.V. and getting a big audience, there won't be more games. Simple as that.

Family Guy gets a ton of viewers, and I'm sure Childrens hospital is cheap to make. It's the same reason we still have shows like 'Hole in the Wall' and 'Dude, what would happen?'

The only channel I would like to see One Piece on (since Cartoon Network has now fallen from glory) is Nicktoons. Not DisneyXD, and certainly not CW4Kids.

I remember thinking the idea was funny when it was short YouTube videos from a foreign (Japanese?) gameshow.

However, they really made it into an entire show here and they put it on Cartoon Network? I just don't get it.

Even so, Yu-Gi-Oh! is probably 4Kids' main source of income. So I don't see them letting it go anytime soon.

I noticed the One Piece Collection dropped to $19.99 on Amazon. That is a great price for 26 episodes. It would be crazy to pass on it if you don't have the voyages.

I have a pre order for Collection One on Amazon, and an order on Season One Voyage 4 (I think).
So I should get the Collection by August 1st-5th. Can't wait to see it! :)

I ordered all of season 2 of One Piece voyages 1-7 on amazon.com Saturday two days ago. So i'm hoping this will boost sales so they dub season 4 and onwards. Does anybody have any idea of when season 4 may come out dubbed by funimation? Thanks

Unfortunately, it probably won't. I checked Amazon and it seems most of season 2 is being sold by third party sellers; in other words, Amazon itself isn't selling them and doesn't have any in stock (it seems they have S2P5 in stock, but even then it says "usually ships within 1 to 2 months").

Also, we have no idea when Season 4 will get released, but we're hoping it will be announced at Anime Expo next month.

On a serious note though, as much as we most certainly encourage people to continue buying the voyages they haven't gotten (or the upcoming collections), Funimation has made it very clear that they want more One Piece at two recent cons (Anime Boston and Anime Central). The ball is currently in Toei's court and apparently they're a little slow with negotiations. It pretty much is a question of when at this point. It POSSIBLE we could hear something at Anime Expo, San Diego Comic Con, or Otakon (which are three very big cons with very high attendance numbers) but this depends on how long it takes for an agreement to be reached and what the terms of that agreement are (like, maybe they signed the contract last week but Toei wants Funimation to wait for a specific con to announce it).

Well about 6 of the voyages I bought on amazon were from amazon.com they wern't 3rd party sellers when I bought them except for 1 voyage which was season 3 voyage 5. So I did help boost sales.

Well I purchased all of season 2 on amazon.com except for season 2 5th voyage. It was sold out new and the 3rd party sellers are way over priced. Does anyone know any website where I can buy this voyage new dubbed by funimation? Then I will have my complete collection of season 2 dubbed. Thanks
