Haxorus sucks. He has a ton of attack, but his speed combined with his awful defences made me stop using him. Same case of the sand croc. Hydreigon is… complicated. It seems to have alot of potential but his weaknesses and little coverage bothers me.
Also, just for fun. Put Hydreigon and Archeops in the the team and swap between both of them in the Summary. The spites are almost recycled. XD

yea kind of annoying when a pokemon isn't available till like last 5 minutes, or worse, when AFTER teh final four even
its like if in an rpg they give you the best sword on the pathway to the final boss. kind of like WTF
i like how like zelda you get the master sword like 2/5 the way through the games. and in case of other swords in those games, you can get them like halfway through game, if not sooner.
I frequent Battle Subway or Radom wifi anyway. The the e4 is nowhere near considered the end of the game for me. They are just easy obstacles to unlock stuff.

I'd use the battle subway like crazy if you could get some actual exp out of it. Instead its a long long string of battles just to get a couple points towards buying an item. Meh.

battle subway is just to me a place to battle non-stop trainers, which i find more fun than fighting pokemon in the wild.
BUT as you said there is no xp, so really why not just go on wifi and battle other players.
Level 70 pokes, terrible AI with no sense to switch out. Easy E4. It's no different than any Pokemon game really.
And EXP out of a post-game Frontier type event? Sounds kinda silly since it's there mainly to test how well you build a team, and how wisely you choose move-sets on an even play field. Gaining EXP is easy enough in this game as it is already. That, and the items are really good for competitive/beneficial setups. It's not everyone's thing, but I get more enjoyment out of these battles than the any battle in the main game.
yeah Hydreigon is a really cool pokemon but it's difficult as hell to raise.
If you need money what you can do is go on the bridge between Nimbasa and Driftveil. Besides the Pretty Wing, the wings you get there you sell for 1500 each.

I ended up loving the single evolution, can't fly, SLOW Druddigon instead. Whose lot in life is it be hit, take abuse, and give residual damage from pretending to be Sharpedo. I put a Rocky Helmet on him and thats been pretty fun. I named him Waspinator.
Quite a few things I wanted to love but they showed up soooo late it just didn't feel right. Especially sad with all the electrics in this game that I love the look of… but I'm now raising my second Emolga instead of them. This one has hidden power ice!
I'm starting to wonder if it was even worth all the effort to get it now. I finally got it, took bloody long enuff. Stats are a bit disapointing, inspite of it being a modest nature. 200 at lvl 64 is pretty crap. But i can finally teach it some worthwhile attacks like flamethrower/surf etc
I might go after the rock-fighting legends next, but catching the other legends is gonna be a pain. I'd much rather have a master ball for that, so i can get 1 with decent stats fairly quickly. >_<
The 2 sports stadiums have proven to be a God send for me to level up my pokemon. I can also cheat by setting my clock forward to the next day as many times as i want till my Pokemon have leveled up.
I caught me a Mienshao finally. Stats are disapointing, but i'll be damned if i'm gonna spend hurs tryin to get the perfect one.
My team is almost ready to take on the Elite 4 & the Champion, once i level up my Mienshao & Chandelure, and my new Axew with his Mold breaker ability - because that rivarly abilty has proven to be a hiderance to me 1 too many times.
I also got me a Pupitar - a Brave natured one but that'll do for now.
I'm very pleased with my team, i'm pleased over all with this generation - with all the great new pokemon. Now if only the region was a bit bigger, we had a battle frontier and you could actually battle the 7 sages, things would be perfect.
What Hiroy said. The games begin for me once I've bred my final team members, and the fun begins when they have their final moves and the stats have been trained.
It sucks though because my only local opponent stopped last gen, and I'm not screwing with my DS unfriendly internet for player battles.
…That said I need three things: a Throh, a female pansage, and something that can breed with snivy or minccino for iron tail. I'll jack wifi from the nearby church if someone can trade these things.

You must have accidentally cancelled the game sync. Same thing happened to me and I couldn't get in for a few days. You're going to have to wait a full 24 hours to go into the dream world and for game sync. Don't change the internal clock on the DS, because if you do that, you'll get a 24-hour penalty and have to wait even longer to use Game Sync (I learned that the hard way).
Best thing to do would be to leave the DS alone and just wait a full 24 hours before you can go to Dream World.
This is my favorite Pokemon game in a while, the story was well written and engrossing and really interesting. N has to be one of my favorite villains of all time because of the good intentions he held and how awesome he was. I've beat the Elite Four 10 times now and despite that I keep finding new things in the game almost every time I play. (I have Black and White)

I'm kinda bored now. I want a real challenge. I'm very very tempted to restart for the 3rd time and this time play with Snivy and pick an unorthodox team of pokes that aren't all the major badass stuff.
I want Scolipede, that Muk 2.0 Garbador, Swanna, Pidove, the 3 elemental monkeys perhaps, Drudiggon, the Ghost golem etc

Serebii unlocks Zorua. The legendary shiny beasts unlock Zoroark. But only if you used a special transfer method. They were gamestop giveaways, but they were also regular wi-fi giveaways in the weeks prior to the release of Black/White.
And since Zoroark is breedable and not actually a legendary, there's plenty of it now.
Victini needed a wifi giveaway liberty ticket, and that was limited time only. So, screwed on those now for a while.
Shaymin was unrelated to any of the unlockables.
I think I have a Shaymin on my platinum version, I'll have to go check though.
That'd be super awesome if you did. Shaymin is literally the only Pokemon I haven't caught yet save for the legendaries that haven't been released yet like Genesect.

Its probably just the 3-D pokedex thats being made available as a free download, nothing major. It won't be a whole new release of the game only 4 months later.
I haven't heard anything about that.
However I wouldn't be surprised if the eventual Gray version has some advanced features for the 3DS.

Yeah, probably. I get the feeling Gamefreak doesn't want to just copy/paste the First 2 games for their 3rd versions (take the switching around of gyms and addition of the Distortion World in Platinum, for example), so the fact that they have a new system, that can do new things, at their disposal opens up a bunch of new doors for Grey.

Scraggy is a diferent event, Scarggy egg was released now, mystery egg was at the start.
The mystery Egg represent a pokemon from each of the characters from the anime

Scraggy egg was given now I believe since I didn't download mine.
Its Satoshi Scraggy that was born from at egg in episode 17 I believe, so there was quite a bit of a interval between both events.

Darn, I almost missed them too but luckily I went to Toys R Us with my bro on the last day of the event so he could get Black and I downloaded the event. I got Axew :]

Pretty much the only thing interesting about that giveaway would have been getting an Axew early in the game, so it could be a road companion… instead of being an end game only critter.
I know this probably should be posted in another thread but I'm playing Emerald and I know where Feebas and Skitty are but I can't seem to meet them. Also I chose Latios after beating the Elite Four but I can't seem to find him. Got any advice?
Skitty is really rare, Feebas is in one of 3 random spots on the map that constantly change, and Latios is a roaming pokemon, but there will be hints given out on the TV.
Is there a set pattern for the spots Feebas appears in?
If there was a set pattern that would sort of take away the random aspect of it.

No.
Feebas are available in six fishing spots on route 119. Those spots are random. So. Basically you just have to fish in different spots until you find a Feebas.

I already did that and after the credits rolled I had to choose ether red or blue, red being for Latias and blue for Latios so I chose blue because I already have Latias and so I'v searching and searching for Latios but he just wont appear and he doesn't appear in the pokedex until after I'v already seen him but I can't do that if I haven't even seen him once.

You go into a house with a flashing tv, and they will tell you where it's currently at. That's the whole deal.
I went into several houses that had TV's but none of them are flashing and even when I click on them nothing happens.

i chose white for the forest, little did i know that you need to do stupid shit to have things appear in forest, so mine is compeletely empty, lol
I lost 5 freaking people in Black City and the store that sell Heart Scales is gone. Until my sister progresses to the next gym, I'm screwed for now.
How does Black City work anyways? I can only find people who sell specific items but not the ones I'm looking for like Heartscales and Fire Stones. I've been bringing people over from my copy of white and my brother's too but I still can't find the items I want.
Do you know how it works?
When I had 10 trainers in BC, there was a store that had Heart Scales and Waterstones(that was it though…). I think you just have to keep inviting people into the city, but I'm not entirely sure if it's a limited amount of invitations per game. Also, if you aren't within the city and ignore the trainers for 10 consecutive real-time days, people/merchants would leave. This counts when you are playing through the main game as well.
I feel stupid. I lost my count after I left town to quickly battle Cynthia agian before the following morning on the 10th day(the season was about to change). When I came back, it was 3 minutes after 1 and I lost 5 trainers ._.
