Omg. I want it. I've really wanted to show the series to a few friends of mine and this would make it pretty easy to.
-
I've been talking to Troy on facebook, and he said he forgot to mention something important.
It will be released very very soon, but there will only be 1000 copies to start off with.
That should be enough for everyone who actually wants one to get a copy, but there are a ton of fans out there, so if you really want one, keep an eye out (or on this thread) for a release date.
And as for price MasterKingJC, I'd say it be about 17 bucks (max) with shipping and handling since the dvd is only 12 bucks. If you're overseas it might be a little more.
A lil off-topic:
[hide]Also, Tim is just about the funniest person I have ever talked to. Joseph (Alex) posted a status about the DVD and people started fighting about whether or not the 1000 copy limit was going to hurt them by getting people mad at them.Tim responded by saying this:
"This is how it should go down:
first run of DVDs comes out
someone sticks exclusive content on youtube
Troy sues said someone for a lot of money
MORE MONEY FOR MORE DVDS FOR EVERYBODYSo everybody wins, really."
By jove I love that man. And not for just his epic sideburns. [/hide]

Along with all that news, Entry #38 is up.
-
Yeah, can't believe I forgot to post that!
Most interesting part to me is how he doesn't assume that Tim posted 37 or ######, even though Jay knows Tim is Masky.
So does that mean Jay believes Tim and TTA are different people?
-
Well, I certainly didn't expect something like this, but it's definitely nice to get some backstory. Neat!
-
This may be the first Slender-series to provide something of a backstory for Slim (Aside from the whole "lives in the Black Woods in Germany" thing from SomethingAwful.)
-
I know a lot of people who aren't too happy about getting backstory for the Tall dude, because it diminishes it goes against the "fear of the unknown" concept that Slendy has had working for him since his creation.
But I think that they were vague enough that there are a ton of possibilities for what Slendy could be, if the story is even true.
-
The DVD is on sale now. I already bought a copy, get it before they run out.

I'm so upset. Last Friday I emptied all the money I had into finishing up my dorm payment.
I have to wait till the 15th before I have more money!
Also, I'd like to recommend a new series to everyone. It has quickly become my second favorite thanks to its good writing, subtlety, and probably the best acting I've seen in a Slendy Vlog.
Check out the first video. There's only 11 so far, so if you decide to watch em, it won't take long.
-
the ending is set, and we're slowly but surely working our way towards it
Oh and there's some stuff in there about how they've already sold over 1000 dvds,
-
@Marble:
Uploading Entry #39 soon.
eager face
Although, the series IS coming to an end soon. Curious how it will end.
Really hope they don't 'explain' Slenderman.

Just got the tweet on my phone. I was about to go to bed….
--- Update From New Post Merge ---
Here it is my peoples!
Enjoy it!
I will return with my thoughts after watching!

Poor Slendy must be jealous of Jay having someplace to sleep in at night.

Poor Slendy must be jealous of Jay having someplace to sleep in at night.
I think Slendy wants to cuddle up next to Jay.
"Found you!"
"Forever! <3" -
Oh shit, a trap!!
Slendy did give up pretty easily. He could have at least knocked on the window and say hello.
-
I think Slendy wants to cuddle up next to Jay.
"Found you!"
"Forever! <3"He'd give him a nice, tight hug with those long arms of his.
-
"Ugh. Stupid traffic…if I hadn't stopped by for those EverymanHYBRID guys, I wouldn't be late for Jay!"
Jay's already in his car sleeping
"Dammit! Now what am I supposed to do? Stand in the distance and watch him sleep? I'm not a loser like Masky. I'm going home!"
rubs hand dramatically on car window
"We'll be together soon..." -
I'm not so sure that's Slendy. Depending on how I catch the image, it looks like someone in a half unzipped hoodie.
Also, Slendy has never stalked Jay, so it be a little weird for him to start now…
Now some important things to note:
1)Rosswood park is where Jay was in entry 31, and where we can also assume entry 38 took place. Entry 29 might have also taken place there.
- In sidetone we all assumed "LIES" meant that Alex was never going to call Jay. Now the most popular theory is gone, so what does it mean?
Also, if TTA posts a video of Jay sleeping in his car as a response we will know two things:
1)That was not Slendy outside the car
2)Time is not TTA. There is no way Tim's leg would have healed in a week, plus that figure wasn't limping. -
Yeah, I assumed it wasn't Slendy. First off, he's not tall enough. Plus his mannerisms weren't similar to that of Slendy. He'd much more stalk from a distance and fear being seen.
It's just fun to tease Slendy's love for Jay.
-
Alright, check it. Compile TRUTH's led me to find an underrated Slender-series.
-
The creator of TribeTwelve submitted an April Fool's video. It's brilliant.
I lost it at Slendy doing the Curly "Woop-woop-woop"
-
Holy Mother of … I think I just laughed too much.
-
And thus we've reached the self-parody stage.
-
New EverymanHYBRID.
Holy shit, Evan….
-
I can do you one better, new TTA.
And I believe this is pretty good evidence for Tim not being TTA, as the figure in 39 could not be Tim as it had only been a week since his leg was broken and even if he could somehow walk without crutches that soon, there's no limp, especially one as pronounced as the one he had in 33 (or whatever entry it was where he shhowed up at the hotel.)
Boom goes the dynamite.
I'm getting more and more hopeful my Alex theory is right.
Also, the numbers that appear on screen are:
2 26 18 2 32 36 30 32 16 10 40
If you divide each by 2 you get:
1 13 9 1 16 18 15 16 8 5 20
Now pair with it's alphabetical equivalent.
A M I A P R O P H E T
or
Am I a prophet.
With this video being titled "Forecast" I think something big might be coming.

Holy shit, Evan….
Sparky? SPARKY NOOO!
I was wondering where The Rake went.

Damn, Akumu, you're good at this.
But what does it say if it's not divided by 2? And what led you to divide by 2 in the first place?
-
It says nothing when not divided by 2. There aren't 40 letters in the Alphabet.
And one of the first things you should always try is alphanumeric coding.
Also TTA has used it before.
The stuff in the description I didn't know, but apparently it's base 64 code, and when translated it says: See you Saw You
-
So I got the DVD yesterday and just watched it with commentary. It is awesome, worth every penny.

How was the video/audio quality?
-
The video quality is actually rather poor. It gets better after a while, but still. It's like stretching the YouTube videos to TV size most of the time, but I didn't mind it as much.
The audio was fine. -
Cool, thanks.

Hippity hop indeed.
I need to find a gif of Slendy telling us to deal with it RIGHT NOW.

THERE'S A DVD?!
I just ran over and ordered it. shjhfjhkasf. Excited.
-
Can't believe no one's posted this yet.
So I'm not sure, but I'm gonna ;able this as a "Jay ran into Slendy because he was somewhere he shouldn't be" instead of a "Slendy targeted Jay."
I mean, did you see those funky ass brick tree things. Jay stepped right into the heart of Slendy's lair, and I must say, I'm surprised it's so bright.

That's a chimney, minus the house, right? And lol it is a rather cheery looking place.
-
Slendy: "Hey! You! Get off my property! You lousy kids are always trespassing around my chimney! Next time, I'm gonna call the cops!"
-
Someone tried to get me to watch the intro.
I managed to convince her that I was NOT watching it.
Ever.I can safely say I'm allergic to horrors… ; u ;
even stuff like horror parodies (I'm looking at Scary Movie and Disaster Movie at this point)...
and Happy Tree Friends.
NEVER.
AGAIN.
[/crying forever]
I may seem like a wuss, but still ; A ; -
Anyone notice the off-screen Slendy instances? They don't happen often but with the established ideas you'll notice them.
Examples:
Entry 3: One of the tapes has the footage tear. We don't see what happens afterwards.
Entry 9: In the first half we hear children in the background, when the camera cuts the children are gone. Implying Slendy got them.
Entry 16: When Jay grabs the water bottle, the footage tears. He soon starts coughing up a storm.I do wonder what's going on in real life, we haven't had an Entry in a while.
-
They all live in Alabama and have to deal with the destruction brought by those tornados a couple weeks ago.
Since most of the filming they do is outside, they have to wait for things to be cleared up and what not. We should be getting something this week.
-
Speak of the devil, a new video from totheark.
-
We should be getting something this week.
I like to fancy meself a bit of a prophet.
And as for this video.
It might just be the best TTA video ever. -
Okay that TTA video is actually kind of freaky. Gah.
-
Here's some out of game info on the delay. It also promises something big for entry 41.
! > Last week was brutal.
I came back to the alright-I-guess city of Birmingham for what is basically my annual summer-job-ish thing with Red Fox Media. My major's "special requirement" is to put in a couple hundred internship hours at an approved company before I can graduate, so I kind of gamed the system and got them to count something I've been doing for three summers straight anyway. I feel like I cheated by not begging to work with dozens of other production companies and getting rejected first.
I'm not used to having to wake up early and drive half an hour into work, so most of last week was spent trying to get over my college student sleep schedule. It wasn't much fun. I spent the weekend basically sitting around playing video games and sleeping in, which probably gummed up my weekday sleep schedule even more. Oh well.
Part of Sunday was dedicated to shooting MH stuff with Joseph. When I got the chance to look at the footage a few days ago, I wasn't really happy with it. The most important part of it at least. I forwarded it along to the big cheese, and he thinks we should redo the important shot. That pretty much guarantees a slightly longer wait than I originally thought for Entry #41. The internship definitely complicates our shooting schedule, too. I'll need to take the hour long drive to Tuscaloosa this weekend to get this one shot, but I'm hoping we'll have a chance to shoot the next entry as well. Nothing's been set in stone yet, though. Luckily, this internship isn't going to last all summer. Since I'm not really getting paid for it, I'm going to be able to leave as soon as the exact number of required hours have been hit. That'll free up a ton of time.
I know things feel like they've been updating slowly lately, and that Season 2 right now seems to be stuck in a loop of unhappiness perpetual state of "just getting started". I'm really sorry about that. We're trying hard to fix that feeling, but it's tough with all the things I'm having to juggle at the same time right now. So, as always, thanks for being patient with us.
I promise we'll make it all worth the wait.
