To be fair the PSP does sell ridiculously well in Japan if only because of Monster Hunter.
That's what I said, but it's non-significant in the west for a good amount of time.
If they're able to avoid the problems they ran into with the PSP and the NGP is able to legitmately compete with the 3DS then Tretton's trash talk will be forgiven if not they'll be eating crow again that simple.
Even so, it's beyond annoying how the upper people at that company behave on kindergarten level since years, even after messing up and looking at the NGP, they don't seem to comprehend why they don't succeed. Cutting edge technology is not what the mainstream wants, especially if it means a higher price. (3DS is too expensive already) PS1/2 had clearly inferior graphical power compared to the competition, but they had the right games and marketing. Even if they keep the price surprisingly low, they are again just copying 1st party console games to a handheld, while lacking series with handheld gaming in mind.
