Hey guys, i'll share my loot that arrived after new years and finally got my order from A-E today , took exactly two days to arrive, i must say i'm very pleased with their service ! their packing was good.
i'll only show what I unpacked today and the rest as a whole ^^

Most limited figures have the # on the bottom of the base.

On Mega House's website, there seems to be 2 versions of Luffy and Zoro in the Fruit Party collection. Luffy with a green apple, and Zoro with a full green watermelon. (http://www.megahouse.co.jp/products/422/index.html) Are both of them the super-secret designs?

Yeah I didn't look too carefully but I did examine the box and figure as I was opening it (wasn't looking for a # though)….and I can't recall seeing a number labeling....also the boxes are in the attic but I checked the figures real quick, didn't see #'s either. Like Blacksmith mentioned, a lot of limited figures don't have #'s....off the top of my head I can say so for the Gold Shenlong from Ichiban Kuji (trade up program I belive 100-200 made) and Makunochi Ippo Hobby Japan Champion Belt edition (I think they made like 300-500 of these only) and I didn't see any #'s.
Spent the time today rearraging the WCF's into the container store cubes, as I suspected, much easier task compared to the DB ones, not a lot of off size or huge ones....only the SW ones at the beginning was a bit of a pain (rofl at the flat alligator one).....I'm so happy they're continuing them all throughout this year, can only hope they continue the DB ones too, way too many arcs missing. Bring them on 2011!

Wow that's an incredible collection, though I always think that because they're so many (and a bit small) it's alot harder to treasure every single WCF. Good for you if you can though, that's something I can't do…

Nice job on the wcf. Tho you really need to sort some out (Keimie, the smaller ones that are hidden, Franky's facing the side.) since they kinda ruin it. Looks like a great display aside from that tho.
Last-minute-cancelled my Whitebeard P.O.P. on Archonia. After seeing all the pics, I'm just not convinced of spending €125,- on a figure that doesn't even look like the Whitebeard I visualize.:ninja: (longer cape, broader neck, less curved mustache, epic grin on his face..) Hard decision though, but completing my POP collection has never been my goal. Def. getting Jinbe though!:wub:

Don't understand why we aren't getting important chars (for example the main ones.) before crap like Bepo tho. Oh well. Robin and Chopper (and proably Nami) are the only ones I want from this series. After that I don't care.

Where are you paying $400 for Carue at? Well prices on ebay are near 1k so definitely not there… I really like the POP, and it would be awesome if I could get both carue and vivi as a bundle, but I'm not going to spend crazy money on that duck...

This will cause a lot of bootlegs and sticker issues, been only available in Japan limits a bit the ability of bootlegers, but once items are available legally in HK, Chinese as well as HK bootlegers will have more laways to not only get stickers (since now there might be more than golden ones) but also more product knowledge on the WCF as well as get them and mimic them more accurately.
So far, it seems to have resulted in resellers snatching up the DX and GLM prizes as fast as possible. I just got back from Den Den town in Osaka and definitely the figure I saw the most was DX Boa, except she was being sold for anywhere between 4950 yen and over 7000 yen (in those little rent-a-box showcases resellers can use). I couldn't decide if I wanted to spend the 4950, since I suck at the games and it would probably cost that much anyways, but I really wish they'd just have let the stores continue selling them at very fair prices rather than having resellers try to rip you off T_T
I saw a lot of the recent Luffy and Ace figs too, Luffy at 10000 yen was the cheapest, but most of them cost 12000 yen for Luffy, 19000 yen for Ace, ouch. (To anyone who goes to Den Den Town, there is some wicked awesome Ivankov graffiti outside this store named King Brand, it made me jump when I saw it late at night though, haha kicks self for not taking a picture when she had the chance It's on the lock gates, so you can only see it when the store is closed…)

Carue is around 400 on ebay and around 530 on mandarake and YAJ. I think 400 on a figure is too much unless it's an all time favorite, i still love Carues figure, but that much is too much for me. If you or any of your friends go to anime conventions, that's the only place I can think to try (I don't know about the anime con situation near you, but hey, on the off chance you are one of the people who travels to cons…). I don't know when Carue became so expensive, I swear I saw him for $60 bucks or so at Anime Expo this past summer, and I got Vivi for $30 bucks at NY Animefest 2009 (legit, stickers and all). It's weird how demand for them just shot up.

I think this was before the sudden demand for them arose, and many times the dealers offer cheaper prices at the conventions, especially on items that they have had for a long time and want to clear out of their stock. They aren't always major retailers, so they might not have websites, and some of them may not know just how much some figures are currently going for (though there are plenty who do know and will raise the prices…). I guess it just depends on your timing and luck unfortunately... Sorry :(

You can't get it for less than 200$ USD now. You can only find it from a reseller and it can go up 37000 yen.
If you want to pay that, check eBay, Yahoo Auctions, amazon jp etc.

Ah is that right? My bad then, but I last saw vol. 4 selling for a pretty high price (the shichibukai one). Still, vol. 0 would be a nice place to start
GLM Sanji and Rayleigh arrived this morning from Play Asia. Had to chase the postman down the street in barefeet and my dressing gown :P
Both looks great. Really nice to have a Sanji figure in this line as its missing Straw Hats badly. I wish I had the Dragon Ball Zoro DX to put with him and Luffy now. His hair is a little dark but still awesome.
Rayleigh is also great, looks excellent and his sword is so long you can't help but look at him! I put my GLM next to my DX Warlords and the differences in quality between the lines is mad. I don't know why they cheaped out for the Warlords as I would have much rather paid abit more for slightly better quality (although saying that, I think I've paid more for that line than I ever have for GLM!)
Also ordered a random pansonworks bobble head and got Newgate. Like my Franky one, his head is to big to move much, but he looks pretty funny and his moustach is huge!
Now just have to wait till this evening and phone my parents to see if my package from Elisabeth has finally arrived which would be a lovely way to end the day!

Amiami was off yesterday and today, they'll be back tomorrow so the possibility is still 50/50 about the P.O.P preorders. It's only shanks and Perona for this month. Followed by vista and Ace by Feb. Unless Megahouse will delay any of them :/
