@Aohige_AP:
Nope, on all accounts.
It's a Japanese traditional symbol called "mitsu-domoe".
The magatama-like symbol is called tomoe, and mitsu-domoe simply means three tomoe.
It originates from symbolization of "tomo", an arm protector that Japanese archers used to protect their left arm from the bow string.
They are often used in feudal Japanese samurai family symbols as well as shinto symbols, and commonly seen on taiko drums.

so…is it normal to assume that this Mitsu-domoe symbol symbalizes haki within OP? if it was (pulling shit from wiki) associated with Shinto War Deity, Hachiman who incorporated Shinto + Buddism, where Shinto can mean "way of the gods", then haki would represent the energy/power of a god/spirit. Also…since (again all from wiki so this cud all be pure bullshit) one of the beliefs of Shinto is purification harai or Oharai, can we say that CoA is able to repel Devil fruits by in some way saying that its "cleansing" the "bad" powers of the fruit?
i honestly just wrote this in minutes after lookin at wiki for about 3 minute s=.= here's the links i browsed LOL

Also, Zoro's asura ability

If this is part of it, can Asura possibly BE haki then? as Asura (which the word is sometimes translated as titan/demigod) could then be explained as Zoro reaching the power of god, being able to resurrect himself for a time being as a warrior of power, hence the power of the skill, as well as the use of haki.
I"m looking into this WAY too much that i dun even see the line of common sense anymore…but it was fun to try to link OP with logic :D
EDIT: OOOOO and that each tomoe is one of the three forms of haki; CoA CoO and CoC!!! and that by mastering all 3 that you can, more or less become a god!!!! AND that One Piece is the secret to the path of being a god, which is by mastering all 3 !!!!!!!! #$)@_(#$(@_$@ =D
EDIT#2: while it might look like i'm completely joking around, i do this symbol as a possibly major symbol that might be explained in the future of OP. i find it to be too much of a consequence that Enel designed his drums (which i still dont get how it works), as well as sentoumaru having it, while one only being a CoA master (assumming sentoumaru isnt just speaking outta his ass that he has best defence) and one being a CoO master (Enel being able to sense an entire island). someone should try to see if they can find this symbol on anything else that might be remotely related to this (like on one of zoro's swords which has that circular shape thats broken up into 3 equal parts
