I think the greatest difficulty would be accuracy at that distance. Though his best bet would be to go from Marine HQ to somewhere on top of the Red Line, across the Red Line, then just aim at the archipelago. But considering how HIGH the Red Line is an error of more than a degree could send him into outer space.
Well, of course, I didn't think about that, but you are definitely right.

Burns inside the vag too?
That's what I was saying, although I tried to keep it more "suggested" than litteral.
Also, I wonder what limitations apply to Kizaru's power, generally speaking, which make it impossible for him to destroy every single rookie in the world in a split second… The question also holds for other admirals, but with Kizaru it's more bizarre.
I wonder if he's been in outerspace yet, too. It seems to me that he could.
-
maybe i am missing something? are yall talking about the eyebrows because the eyebrows on the snail are different from sanji's real eyebrows.
:ninja:
not sure what you mean since you put the ninja thing
but no the snail and sanji's eyebrows are the same
for some reason they both curl the same way like this 0__ 0__
and guys we are not fighting the wg right now
only possible ones that might meet the WG at all are Zoro and Sanji. But again the WG has eyes on a sanji/zoro already so very likely they totally miss the real ones walking right past them. -

Oh ok lol well lets get back on topic now
I believe before each attack he has to close his eyes or something like that
If he stayed in his light form maybe he could im not sure if he went back to human form that he could

He couldn't count on anything to reflect off of, so he'd have to reform as a person. At which point he'd die.
The curvature of the earth also messes with Kizaru's travel, and, as mentioned, he would need to be incredibly accurate to not die.
-
The only one that alarms me (maybe it is an error) is this one in Crocodile's flashback when he is taking to Sanji at Whiskey Peak from Mr 3's Snail.
The anime has no relevance in terms of little details like this.
-

Also, i dont really know the exact physics of OP…(duh) but imo he can't move at the speed of light, considering that rayleigh was able to cut off his speed rail when kizaru tried to chase after luffy's crew. if light is as fast as we know it to be, then kizaru should have been able to catch up to luffy's crew at least 500, 000 times before rayleigh's sword reached his light rail.
he probably just reincarnates as light, but either just allows him to control the mass of light, which is why he can be so fast, or he hasn't fully mastered his godlike DF to travel at the speed of light.. ttats my opinionszorssee

He might be capable of moving at the speed of light, but there's no way to actually react that fast.
The "have you ever been kicked at the speed of light?" thing might actually be true…in a manga sort of way. If you actually got hit with something of mass moving that fast you'd die, but he might just turn his leg into light and instantly reform it while moving in a kick so the whole action takes the smallest fraction of a second.

hmm true, guess human capabilities factors in too. i dont think he reforms his kick thou, or not fully anyways else he would crush his own leg too right?
-
4 things iam looking foward to in the new world
1. enels return
2. sabos introduction
3. crocodiles increased strength cause you just no hes going to be alot stronger
4.the ancient weapons revival -

Apoo blew Kizaru into bits, then the bits turned into light and they reformed the whole Kizaru. I'm not sure if this was some aspect of Apoo's ability, or saying that Kizaru's fluid logia body might be a bit different from the usual.

Has anyone else noticed that Franky's elbows can bend the other way, due to his upgrade? How do you think this will factor into his combat techniques?
Plus, his biceps are still human.PS. Just joined

Your username is cool. Just don't steal my mojo.

Yeah I'm still upset that Zoro destroyed my pirate ship >_>

he'll fake his opponents out u know? look like hes gonna punch them in the face, then his arms uses its hundred different limbs to bend it and nail them in the groin area, taking out them instantaneously.

Could not be that Oda's made a mistake, eh?Oh... and hi everyone ^__^ long lost member of Vegapunk forums

Rayleigh know how many monsters and how strong they are. He is measuring the power with mantra, observation. I recon that BB did the same thing with Luffy in Jaya and in ID.
Except that we don't know if BB has that ability in the first place, because it's not in evidence anywhere else in Jaya, and because secondly, if he did have that ability it probably wouldn't have manifested itself as fully as the abilities of Enel and Rayleigh.
Rayleigh is portrayed as Haki-Master-Extraordinaire so we can't assume -- even if BB did have that ability to sense people's auras -- that his skills would be on par with Rayleigh's.
I'm not saying that he can predict any moves (he never did anything like that), just that he can sense the power.
Sensing power would probably require an awareness of having that ability though. As best we can tell so far, BB's insights are from his gut instinct, not from his Ambition. If he has any sort of latent Ambition, he doesn't seem to be aware of it yet.
Sentoumaru is smart. He's already expecting that Luffy is stronger than he was two years ago. So, we don't need a scenario where Sentoumaru is defeated, but something where Sentoumaru isn't capable of stalling Luffy is just as good to show Luffy's growth.
We have almost the exact scenario that brought down the SHs two years ago, and I don't see how Oda will not have them face this same scenario to show the crew's growth in the last two years.
And since Sentoumaru is expecting Luffy to be stronger, it's probably safe to assume that Sentoumaru has already done what he can to get his side stong enough for the inevitable rematch, too. So the SH won't be the at the same level as before, but neither would Sentoumaru's side.
h3h3h3 – great find!
This thread has reached a trough on the sine wave of discussion.
A friend of mine (who also happens to be a high school teacher) once wisely said the following: "there's nothing more awkward than a roomful of virgins telling sex jokes"

You're missing something :ninja:
@Sea:
Physical strength can be strengthened through training. CoC can not.
Obviously he wasn't talking abut physical strength growth.I'm not sure what point you're making here.
Luffy's CoC ability has been growing all along. If we look at all of the displays of Luffy's CoC, they are progressively stronger. And since Sentoumaru is expecting Luffy to be stronger, it's probably safe to assume that Sentoumaru has already done what he can to get his side stong enough for the inevitable rematch, too. So the SH won't be the at the same level as before, but neither should Sentoumaru's side.
Yes, agreed here. And even though I'd like Luffy to curbstomp Sentoumaru this time, I don't expect it. However, I'm bargaining on the fact that Luffy trained with Legendary Dark King Rayleigh and no one knows this, where as Sentoumaru just did his regular training and didn't have any motivation to go out of his way to become extraordinarily stronger.
All this to say that I expect Luffy to comfortable have the upper hand in the confrontation. -
We'll soon see if "the worlds strongest defence" was just braggadocio.
-
We'll soon see if "the worlds strongest defence" was just braggadocio.
I believe that this will be the first time that we'll see a CoA oriented fighting style, like WB undoubtedly used before his weakness (indicated by his statuesque mobility).
It will be interesting to see just how strong these CoA fields can get, and what they can and cannot block. We've already seen that the combined CoA of the Admirals can stop an earthquake, so if a man boasts a world-class defense and isn´t talking out of his enourmous ass, then the battle will surely be close to say the least.
I think these last few posts have been underestimating Sentoumaru. I think it will take teamwork to win and Luffy shouldn't be able to take down an experienced Haki user with a strong specialization just yet. Not by himself anyway.
-
I'm really excited to see what kind of weapons and other upgrades has been used to improve Sunny. Since Franky spend all that time in the middle of Vegapunks technology is there a possibility Franky's learned about Sea stone? I think it's too early to say that Sunny's been updated with sea stone since it's said to be rare/being something only WG has it (I cant remember how exactly this was told) but I have a feeling that at some point it could be used to Sunny so that it can travel calm belt (maybe its not a necessity but it would be cool).

Pretty much. And since senty is connected to vegapunk, I suspect we'll be seeing him again - so it doesn't really behoove oda for him to get beaten here. I suspect Luffy will get at least one solid punch through though, to show the the difference between pre/post luffy.
-
for sure sentoumaru will remain in the story that much is for sure. but i think it will end up being luffy vs sentoumaru, just cause before the time skip at SA it really was sentoumaru vs luffy there too, it'd be nice to showcase for us how luffy wont get his ass kicked anymore by the same guy after 2 years

I like that with haki in the picture every move from Luffy that we have seen suddenly has an unkown amount of power, so we get a lot of new anxiety just in wanting to see how much destruction a Giganto Pistol or Rifle with Haki does.
I'm betting on Giganto Rifle or Bazooka finally getting through to, uhm, senty…
nice nickname.

That earlier den-den mushi scene with sanji, the one on Little Garden, is that shown in the manga?
I'm just curious since that pic from the anime seems to contradict the other one…
Of course the anime can't be trusted, but I'd like to see the same scene in the manga just the same.EDIT: looked it up, we never see the den-den mushi that crocodile has, so indeed it was the anime screwing up

Yeah, I realized, just thought that maybe we could see the den-den mushi the first time that sanji talks to crocodile but we can't so the anime made up that den-den mushi that has the eyebrows.

Robin is the only straw hat which I don't know what she has improved on, battle wise.
-
Yeah I'm still upset that Zoro destroyed my pirate ship >_>
I especially like how the fox on that ship looks like it's in pain and crying. :ninja:

!
So I'm thinking Franky looks a little bit like this. Well I'm just trying to make sense of his arms and come up with a way by which he can take them off if he wants. So what I'm saying is the scars on his body are so that he can take the entire side off too and become smaller  I'm just trying to make sense of what Franky did and how.
-
Robin is the only straw hat which I don't know what she has improved on, battle wise.
But probably Robin has learned a lot of valuable information from the Revolutionary Army.
-
My thinking is that since the two hunters have bounties of around 200 million, that they may actually be stronger than the two were pre-timeskip and that is why Zoro and Sanji won't walk all over them.
To be shown however. I'm looking forward to thier new techniques. It's just a high bounty, they might as well be at Arlong strenght. Sansji has a low bounty for someone so powerful, and he is about the same strength as Zoro.
-
I don't see why it would be? It's not as if Date was particularly renowned as a swordsman or anything like that. He was more famous for being a leader of men than anything and that certainly isn't what Zoro's focus is. As for his later use in anime and video games as a quasi-swordsman, I don't think Oda is in the business of going out of his way to deliver an homage to that type of muddled source. Maybe I could see it if one of Oda's favorite childhood cartoons was about a fictionalized one-eyed swordsman version of "Date", but as far as I know (which isn't very far) that isn't the case.
Besides the one eye, what is Zoro's connection to Masamune Date that would dictate such a direct influence? One-eyed fighters are hardly a rarity in manga or any kind of pirate fiction really.
Kazuya_Nakai: voice actor (aka seiyu)
One Piece (Roronoa Zoro, Pierre, Jigoroh, Saldeath)
Sengoku Basara (Date Masamune)!
I 'd. Oda you magnificent mama-swooning bastard.

looking at him now, it does look like he can fit through the doors, which was the only problem for everyone. (he just walks in sideways rite?). him being able to detach into several parts/smaller parts/lose some parts would be nice, but i think that this is most likely his final form. cause if those arms were only meant for battle, i dont think he would have had them on when he saw robin unless he was in some form of combat a few moments ago
-

yeah yeah, I got that. But every straw hat (and I think Brook has some musical power) will have something new to show at a battle. I don't want Robin to do her usual back crack thing.

Some fighting powers would be good but I think the main point of them being on their own was to up their strengths. Chopper learned medical knowledge, Nami learn about different weather things, and Sanji learned cooking skills. So it is only natural that Robin went ahead and added more to her encyclopedia of knowledge that she has. I am sure she is lacking some idea of the New World. That is what I expect she learn. If anything she may have learn more about the Rio that lay at the end of the Grand Line.
I really want to see what is under Franky's hood. Damn so much stuff there.

After 597 chapters, he mistakenly mirrored his appearance?

well for SURE she didn't learn anything about the rio poneglyph for sure. if she wanted to get that info from someone else, she coulda just asked rayleigh for it. i'm hoping she can grow her arms INSIDE ppl and explode them fromt he inside…but tats just my sick nature talking =P

Ye, but what each of them learned made them stronger. Although Sansji main goal were those recipes, he still became stronger by fighting, however long he did, and whether or not Ivankov trained him later on in something. Although Chopper will have better medical skills, it's his improvement to be the monster Luffy needs that will be the most interesting.
Though I'm just thinking about now, not the long run. Her knowledge will help. Just something "wow" to everyone, if they will be showcasing what they can.
A BIGGER GUN!

If she could do that, she wouldn't have needed any training.
And I predict that what Robin has learned from Dragon, probably more about the WG and its secrets, would be the SHs' ticket to escaping past Marine HQ on the other side of the Red Line. I highly doubt she would have gained any physical strength.

Wasn't the end of the Enel Coverstory very specifically him coming back from the moon?
