comes flying in
DONE! Now, before I got on any fangirling or rants, I have one point to make, since the irony of the situation was too large to pass up on.
Ok, so while I locked myself out of my room, I called up my friend to talk to her. Literally, the last thing we were talking about before my roommate came back, was my comparing anime/manga/one piece to drug addiction, except not AS bad for you (may vary from person to person >_>). Ok, so I run in, fire up my computer, go to mangastream, and freeze.
Their twitter update "There's temporary sluggishness as a googolplex of OP fans get the fix, we'll be rolling out a new server setup soon to hopefully fix this."
I love how, out of all the analogies they could have used, they use a drug reference. RIGHT after I just finished comparing One Piece to drug addiction. It was both hilarious and slightly scary at the same time.
Alright, now onto the actual chapter
! Eli~! glomps Ok, so I'm not the only one who was a bit disappointed. I honestly wished there was more in the chapter, but I'll give Oda a break since he can only fit so much in. Plus, after a month of waiting, expectations are so high that I honestly wasn't expecting the chapter to live up to them XD
! I'm going to give the new looks a bit of time to grow on me before I make any solid decisions. I do like that at least Nami and Usopp met, so it wasn't as if NONE of the SH crew got back together. I found it funny though, the first thing that popped into my mind when Nami hugged Usopp was the anime scene in Water 7 where she finds her mikan trees and runs over to hug them, squealing.
! Besides, I'm waiting for chapter 600 before I pass judgment.
And one more thing. YAY MY INTERNAL CLOCK IS BACK ON TRACK. Good grief, I couldn't keep track of dates (Monday, Tuesday, etc) these last 4 weeks since I always base what day it's on off of One Piece's release date. I read it on Thursday, so if someone asks me on Friday, "hey what day is it" I can say "Friday" since I go off of "Ok, one Piece was released yesterday so yesterday was Thursday". It's sad, I know.
