Just curious, how much do those copics cost? Can you simulate it in digital art?

copics are $6.50 each but I get them from my local art shop for $4.39. I bought one or two every time I went, but broke down and got a set of 72, then bought 7 skin tones the other day.
as for simulating it, I have no idea. I have a hard time with digital media, I need something physical to understand it. I'm sure you can, though, but copics looks so damn nice.

That looks great as is Maggie, I'd say you're done, just leave the background white. Its artsy and pops the character.

Great Robby! I'll scan her as soon as I get a chance. Then I might do more if I have time (a subtle background, or some color around her) but at least this way you're good to go.

My boyfriend's busy with his own comic deadline so I don't think he'll be able to whip anything out. I'll try for a bikini thing but honestly I don't think I'll have time, so 99% don't count on it. I have a rough sketch of that mercenary pilot lady, but I'm not really feeling it.

uhm, not sure how long copics last? I haven't had mine for that long. They're refillable, and you can change nibs that are crushed or dying. Really handy. So far none of mine have needed anything except for my SP Multiliner pens.

Okay folks, anyone else that wants to get in a last minute swimsuit pic, time is running out!

@copics. Copics are awesome, the best coloring marker around. But the damn things are expensiiiive. Digital for me, thanks! No mess, no cleanup, no ongoing costs!

Just to double check and make sure I'm not overlooking anything, since this is now 8 pages with multiple versions of some images and a variety of names and whatnot (and I'll go through the whole thing again later just to be sure but…)

Using credited names instead of screen names to double check on that too. If you have a last name or a psuedonymn you prefer, let me know by tomorrow!

I got it just fine, but you can still color it up if you want. We're STILL waiting on two last pieces to come in, which is holding the whole thing up. these books are 99% done, but they're not going to go out till first thing Monday morning now.

(yeah, we're incredibly unprofessional with these fan annuals… that count on other people sending stuff.)

Okay, we finally got our copies of GD annual and GD Swimsuit in from the printer! Swimsuit was a color book, the annual pieces ended up going black and white. I hope I got all your names right.

I believe everyone that provided me with a piece got in (except Narutosss' which came in too late, sorry) so if ya'll can PM me and provide your addresses, I'll see about getting you a comp copy.

For those of you that live overseas, that may be a little tricker (IE, ridiculously expensive for shipping out a single comic book) but I'll see what I can do.

We got two copies of the annual today, thank you!!! Very cool to see my daughter's work published officially like that. She was home sick from school, too, so it was a real pick-me-up for her. Thanks Robby.
