Every setting for every battle is plain as hell. The art was horrible, but when is it not? Let's not question why Konan is out there on the lake/ocean alone…
You know the manga is great when you're not looking forward to any battle with Naruto or Sasuke involved.

orgybattle with him.I would like to see it that way but it won't happen. We will see the awesomness of his darkness. Personally, I think Sasuke was bearable until the end of Itachi's fight.

Oh no! Kishi just pulled a Kubo. Please don't tell me the last 200+ chapters were all part of some grand master Uchiha plan. Please don't.
Other than that, I'm glad Konan turned out not to be a typical supporting character pushover. She actually hit him! I'll shed a tear when she dies next chapter

If she's this strong then why wasn't Konan more substantial in Pein's arc? I mean I know Konan's trying lay all her cards on the table now, but does that mean she just half-assed her raid through Konoha? Seems like she could have easily blown through a quarter of the village.
Meh, maybe I just wasn't attentive enough to the Pein arc. Now that I think about it, I don't even remember too much about it.

Well Aizen is secretly Madera so of course it is going to be all planned. Next chapter he is going to tell Konan that her betrayl was all part of his plan

Speaking about Mafalda, what have you read of her?, I once bought my mom the complete compilation of mafalda, I also readed it, it was hilarious.

She had 2 panels so far in part 2.

I just started thinking over the Rescue Sasuke arc again and I realized something. Kimimaro was a completely stupid and vestigial tangent to the series. Odd as it might be to criticize something that gave side characters a fight (we did get drunk Rock Lee, which was awesome), but think about it. Kimimaro was introduced late in the game with no buildup whatsoever as an ass-pulled 'final boss' to throw us off the trail of the 'real final boss'. Then Rock Lee shows up out of nowhere, only minimally foreshadowed, immediately debunking the 'final boss' thing. He gets beaten down and then the sand three show up out of nowhere and gets beaten down as well, then Kimimaro dies.
In summary, that battle was an ass pull red herring rendered ineffective by an ass pull hero who ended up getting saved by yet another ass pull hero who ends up losing, but surviving thanks to an ass pull. I know we've complained about the death and sand three before, but when you examine it all together, it makes for quite a failure of storytelling. And that was pre-time skip Kishi, too.

And despite all that, it's still better than 95% of Part Two. Kimimaro may have been an ass-pull character, but by god at least he gave us some entertaining battles.

That is still highly true and perhaps the most depressing part. Almost every exchange in Sasuke vs. Itachi is ass pull after ass pull and that's in the context of a very plot-relevant and long foreshadowed fight. And that fight isn't entertaining in the least (obviously).

Another irritating part of the fight, Kishi via Zetsu keeps telling every seconds "Itachi is strong !" my mind was screaming "He sucks hard !"Kishi can tell me he is strong as many time as he wants I am not falling for that. In One Piece chapter 561, Oda does not need to say Mihawk is strong, we feel he is and he demonstrates it flawlessly.

Because Kishimoto believes the only way "delicious" and "women" can be in the same sentence is if said sentence includes the word "sammiches".
