Finally my Strong World Blu Ray Limited Edition arrives.
I don´t see the movie, but I´ve seen the extras. The Blu Ray limited edition has a Blu Ray and a DVD. The DVD contains:
- Character sheet.
- Cinema show with all seiyus (2 different shows).
- Some scenes with the storyboard.
The Blu Ray contains:
- Movie (no english subs, only japanese subs) in FullHD (amazing, I´ve seen the Trailers and look really good).
- Trailers and TV advertises
The extra CD contains wallpaper and some things for the PC. Another extra is a white book with 10-12 pages (I don´t remember now XD), with information about the film and the chapter 0, I think is a smaller version of the book in japanese cinema. The tone-dial has Mugiwara sentences (really cool ^^).
I´ll see the film later, then I could tell you if there are extra scenes. Some pics:

i still dont get how people can say that the sh figuarts luffy and ace look ugly? Its so wierd, they look awesome. The other brand thats making a luffy looks really lame and wierd though. But not the figuarts one.

So this is what is to happen to Ace….No more variations so instead we just get him not coloured. Couldn't we at least have had someone worthwhile instead? Like Sengoku? Akainu (BOBBLEFIST!). Hell Sadi-Chan, Hina or Margaret would have been a better one.
Silly, that's not just a non-colored figure! It's Ghost!Ace!!!!
It's an action figure like the Figuarts Ace but it was released back in 2002 I believe. It's long sold out, I even wanted to buy one of Ace and Zoro, but it's all out of stock and I can't use Paypal to do deals with any of the middlemen living in japan in the thread.
Quite a few deputies take credit cards as payment. Doesn't help if you don't have one, though.
I've got to say, seeing all those pics of DX Ace over the past few months, coupled with the pics of the actual figure still looking all snazzy has kind of made me want to get one . . . I'm not the biggest Ace fan, though. Gah! I need to resist and just wait for the Banpresto brotherhood set. I want that one already.

LOL I totally know what you mean. The only reason I'm not jumping up and down more happily is because I'm still half terrified toy_cardseller is going to send me a fake. But other than that, I'm freakishly excited about getting it. My parents are gonna kill me though, the box is going to be huge and they'll be like "…so Rona. How much did you spend for this? :|" zzzz
I love how detailed and richly colored it is, omgggggggggg.

One month ago SW P.O.P Brook and Sanji got shipped to me per registered SAL. I ordered them with AmiAmi and they got shipped separately, cause I payed separately for them.
The problem is that both did not arrived so far, tracking shows no location and my local post office could not help me either.
I would not worry, but in middle of August, the DX Shichibukai Jinbei and Flamingo I also ordered with AmiAmi and per registered SAL, got shipped to me and arrived one week later.I won't believe that Brook AND Sanji both got lost in the mail. Before AmiAmi I used to order with HLJ and always ordered my figures via unrgistered SAL. It was nothing unusual that some packages took a month and one time even one and a half month, to arrive.
Is there anyone from Europe who also ordered a P.O.P with AmiAmi via unregistered SAL? If yes, how long took it to arrive?
What would you do? Should I contact AmiAmi and bother them, or should I wait a little longer?

Austria. I could contact the customs agency, but that should be the last thing to take into concideration. But anyways, shouldn't the tracking number at least shows, that the figure has arrived, in my case, in Vienna where it's held in customs?
I guess I have no choice but to contact AmiAmi about it. Knowing my luck, the figures will arrive next monday and so an reply from AmiAmi, lol.

Got my invoice from hobbysearch for figuarts ace (in my spam folder O_O;;) and paid for him. I'd still like to reserve judgement until he's here, but I don't have the highest hopes.

Im still thinking about cancelling Hancock… I pre-ordered her from archonia.com for about 105 usd (including shipping), which is pretty expensive.
But, if I were to regret cancelling and buy her when she's in stock the price is jacked up to a whopping 135 usd! -

Congrats, looks really sweet…can't wait to watch....I've been holding off on watching strong world until now because I wanted to watch it on BD heh. Too bad episode 0 wasn't included after all....oh well, I'm sure they'll release down the line to suck $$ somehow. Thanks for the pics.

First of all, you should check AmiAmi's policies regarding lost packages. I had a similar problem a few years ago with HLJ. A SAL package got lost on its way, and HLJ told me to wait TWO MONTHS. And if after those two monhts it didn't arrive they would file a claim with the Japanese Post that would take ANOTHER MONTH to process. In the end, after three months, HLJ shipped the figure once more (I was lucky they had a few canceled orders)
That is why I don't use SAL for figures. I may not be in Europe, but the risk of non-tracked packages is the same for everyone.

IMO, that's probabaly the best idea. I'm in CA and all registered SAL has ever provided me is a slow updating tracking # (it's not like EMS' or fedex status updates) and increased possibility to sit in customs. Quite frankly I've never had a problem with small packet SAL unregistered and it's always consistent because I've never had any of them go to customs (or if they did, they must have cleared quickly) since I always get everything from 5-8 business days. I talked with Ricky at Amiami closely regarding this as well as other vendors, the consensus is that the world is split into reliable and unreliable zones in terms of the postal system in general. If you live in such places (you hear about it a lot in places like South America, Italy/different parts of Europe etc), I'd avoid ever using small packet SAL without registration or always use EMS….otherwise in a place like the US where the postal system is basically without a hitch (I think in my lifetime I've seen 1-2 lost package in the US....and the sender were suspect), I'd trust unregistered small packet SAL for anything you can ship that way, much cheaper and saves you $$ for the important stuff....collectibles!

I think the tape measurer is a better den den mushi replica, even though it probably isn't the correct size. This one looks really tiny, however, it'll look great hanging off something.

I've actually wanted a talking den den mushi for quite some time - in fact, the ceramic one I made is hollowed out because I wanted to be able to fit some transmitting device inside eventually, LMAO. So the golden one works for me. <3

Only thing shojo is good for is ridiculous remixes for vids.
Bit off topic, but K-ON! and Lucky Star aren't shoujo. They're more moe, meaning that they were made for men (I think the official genres are comedy and slice of life). Both are based off of 4-panel comic strip manga. K-ON! ran (runs?) in a seinen magazine, and Lucky Star was originally published in a computer/video game magazine that also featured manga based on video games. So they're not too "girly," since they were made for men who like cute things. It's not like the target audience is gay men or men who are pedophiles, either–it's just Japan has some very different gender issues. Some men find women who act "cutesy" and childish very attractive is all, and it happens more so in Japan than in the Western world.
