That would suck big time man. But come here in february and try -25 degrees C. That's lovely. And of course the next person to post comes from Siberia and tells me to try -50 degrees..
Post how your day was… (NEW)
-
-
Hahahahahaha that killed me, -25 would literally kill me too.
-
I discovered the Arlong Park Humor thread yesterday, and I read over 100 pages in one day.
Goooood stuff.
-
Was in Flordia for a while, but now I'm back!
I went to Orlanda and had fun at Universal Studios and Island of Adventure (Harry Potter park ftw) It was SO great!
-
rainnnn!!!!!!!!!!! awesome… no more 45 degree C with no electricity!.
well that was first part. Second part was trying hard to withdraw $$ from paypal somehow (without success)

So, yesterday when I was working, it was about 9 or 10 at night, it suddenly sounds like a monstrous fan was turned on. I look over at the fan (it's pretty big) but it doesn't look like it was going any faster than usual. Then another guy that I work with comes down and says that it sounds like a giant fan, same as me. Turns out, out of the blue, it started raining in torrents. It lasted for about 10 minutes and then stopped. Ohio has extremely strange weather.
-
@Kairouseki:
Ohio has extremely strange weather.
I'm sure it's tame compared to Texas. We literally went from the high 70s one day to the 20s and a blizzard the next. Then it went back to the 70s the next day. And this was late April, (we got the blizzard on the first day o' spring)
Anyway, after a week of storms it's sunny and triple digits here, so it's time for another day at the pool!

My day's been alright so far. I had my last day of volunteering today and the class I was volunteering for gave me a Sonic gift card. I ate there for the first time today. The Tater Tots are fucking amazing. Now I'm just preparing myself for the hell that will be band camp which starts tomorrow. No A/C and 95+ degree weather = Complete Dehydration.
-
Not a good day so far. My dog is barely moving around, due to his age. Vet tomorrow, but I know the news isn't gonna be good.

Got banned for saying "inb4lox".

Tomorrow, I'm volunteering at my sister's activity center to host the 'Wii Fit' desk.
I have to help a bunch of old people play the Wii Fit. I'm a bit nervous. I mean, old people are awesome, but I just know they are going to have a hard time hearing me. Plus I fear something will go wrong when they want to do an exercise like hula hooping or an impossible yoga. And oh God, the ski jump. They will so jump and break the fucking board…
Dread....dread....dread...

I work with older people sometimes. Just keep calm and speak clearly.
As for the activities, you could:
1. Make up a list of things you know they can do, and stick to that as much as possible. Or
2. Organize all the activities you'll be doing into beginner-intermediate-advanced categories. Start at the bottom and work your way up; be sure to warn them when things start to get more difficult and tell them that if they fell like they might not be able to do that activity they should sit it out. Warn them to jump carefully so they'll maybe not break the board, also.
Good luck tomorrow. :) -

It's only one board, so everyone has to take turns. There might be some kids who will want to jump on, and GOD I hope they do.
Kids, I have plenty of experience with. The elderly, not so much.

Watched some Megas XLR. I realizing how terribly poor season 2 is compared to the greatness that is season 1. I only seen the1st 3 episodes… so maybe I'll change my mind later.

Shannon (I'm just going to use her name from now on, it's easier) posted a message on Facebook for me saying that she really liked the sunglasses I got for her. That they're really comfortable and she's been running with them on. Made my day, both yesterday and today, and possibly my week .

Thats great man…
Woulda been better if you had gotten her what I suggested though…
About my day, it was horrible, at work, they transfered me to the PR department and promoted me, I'm now Public Relations Officer… it sucks because I'm not that good at it, and I loved what I used to do...
-

As I said, I don't have the required information and didn't want to risk being smacked by asking her .
-
Learned to drive motorbike. Succeeded in first try. Rest of the day, did nothing useful. Felt worthless. Fail. Going to read Charles Dickens's David Copperfield.

Been reading all week.
My retinas. They burn.
Today my mom says to clean off my sister's bed before going on the Internet.
Hmm.
First I think I'll practice our new marching music; Call Me, Come Sail Away, and Pinball Wizard. Call Me is the best, far none.
I am really sleepy. Must drink coffee and jam out to La Roux. -
pretty good day…despite the weather:blink:
-
Got my college schedule Tuesday. I only have classes every other weekday. Man, I'm loving college already.
-
Worst day ever.
-
welp I'm home from work, I'm going to get a haircut tonight and my 21st B-day is tomorrow. So I've had a great Birthdayeve. :) I'm so freaking excited about tomorrow.
-
@Sea:
Worst day ever.
Cheer up Sea, we're here for you :) Only good thing about bad days are the next will be better.

-

Luckily despite my computer being in temporary Permanent sleep its working now
-
Inception was the highlight of my day. If you haven't seen it, go and do just that.
Twice.
-
didn't knew that i was violating oneway. In the end got away by giving policeman bribe (which he asked). Was interesting dealing with him.
-
I watched V for Vendetta. I am amazed.
-
I watched V for Vendetta. I am amazed.
What a coincidence. I watched it only last night/early morning.
It's one of my favourites, although I did feel that the ending was a bit exaggerated (Why would there be THAT many people?)
-
Don't just watch. Read the comic guys.
-
I've just started. Quite text-heavy, but I'll get through it.
-
Thanks for the hug Sea! That was a good one alright :D
V for vendetta is goood, I loved the movie and still look up some of the quotes from time to time. The comic is definitely heavy, it very different from the movie I think and unique. Had to read it a couple of times befor really understanding.
Today was a fine day, not too sunny and I took my neighbour to my '2nd family' in my fav japanes sushi place in town. After that we had a nice afternoon at the beach, riding our bikes there and back and having a picknic. These things happens all too rarely.
Now we just made lots of samosa!
-
Insomnia, early Saturday morning classes, tired after a very long week, a pile of homework for the weekend, a headache… not the best of days.
V for Vendetta eh... I loved the movie, I think I'm going to give the comic a try too.
-
Quality up in this bitch! Earl Grey's where it's at!
Also, I didn't enjoy the V for Vendetta comic as much.
-
Goddammit God! Why do you hate Ohio so?
In less than a second it went from cloudy to OH MY GOD THE RAIN IT STINGS FUCKING LOUD THUNDER AHHH!
-
Had to give my cat a pill in order to de-worm him. He's the kind of cat that doesn't allow people to hold him or be picked up, so you can imagine how hard it was to shove a pill down his throat. Now I have to wait for "the magic to happen" so I can scoop his litter just in time for garbage night. …yay
-
me and a friend took a trip up and down the coast..
Its amazing to see whats still around all these years. -
a day wasted, I learned nothing useful.
-
Just wrote two exams … man I am sooo tired because of the whole learning but I do write three more in the next two days ... I am so glad when it is thursday evening.
-
Terrible. I wasn't prepared for the possibility the manager of the place I applied for would ask about the days that weren't avialbale on the application. Totally blew it. I want to call him again tomorrow but my confidence is already crushed enough as it is.
-
Today was awesome until I lose all my one piece sub work that i worked on 7 hours or so. I really wanted to bash my computer. FML
-
Only had to work 8 hours tonight but I have to go in tomorrow at 7 AM :getlost: .
