We all knew that them getting powers was bound to happen at some point and with the plot device Aizen Kubo created here we even have the explenation right before our eyes. I wonder why Sasakibe never gets screentime like all the other vice-captain do. I know its Kubo we are taking about, but we haven't really even seen this guy fight or really do anything important, unlike the other vice-captains.

Well the other two makes sense. I see nothing wrong with him making up characters to use later, although I do feel he underuses current characters.
But the Shusui/Aizen shit is bullshit.
You know as I read back I find it consistently more anoying how more often then not Kubo's characters pull a "YOU - ARE - FUCKED" moment a chapter or two after they start to fight someone . A good example is the Zommari fight .
Also I realy did like that Zommari guys amor (armour?) because it looked so damn silly . He basicly looked like he was in a sperm costume while inside of a huge pumpkin .

Honestly when that fight first started between Zommari and Byakuya I actually thought that it would be decent but than he released into a big pumpkin. His power was simple yet creative but would of been better if he didn't have that stupid pumpkin suit on.
I don't really get the debate on what countries exist in Bleach. They all do. Kubo isn't going to show us an entire map just for the sake of us realizing that when it all seems obvious anyways. The only inconsistency is that the only language they talk in is Japanese or English, but that's just for us viewers, not to say that only one country exists in Bleach. Bleach has all races in it.
Or perhaps we'll finally understand how Heaven and Hell work in the World of Bleach since Soul Society seems like the CRUMMIEST afterlife of all time (seriously… they get their asses kicked and it HURTS in the after life... wtf)?
Actually I would love it if our Heaven (assuming there is a Heaven of course) was like Soul Society.
Me and my future brother in law speculate that yammi is actually 5 vastro lordes who combined there power to become yammi and that each of their names is the first letter of each letter of the name. Now that's trolling with style.
I can't really tell if this is a joke or not, but Yammy is weaker than a Vasto Lorde, let alone five of them combined.

Better? You think "stop a madman who has god delusions and who ends up tied to everything because Kubo likes retconning" better? Listen, I'm not saying Naruto's plot is Shakespeare, but at least it feels consistant when done right compared to Bleach. That series is about pretty much trying to stop a cycle of hatred that pretty much defines the means why these characters even need ninjas. Bleach in a nutshell is "Aizen did it, screw you, try and fix it".
And unpredictable doesn't mean good. Take the example that was being discussed above: when we saw Zommari initially, we thought he was going to be this silent bad-ass and the initial phase of his fight with Byakuya didn't dissapoint. Then he releases…and he's a stupid pumpkin monster with powers that can perfectly be stopped by Mr. "White Pride" and down he goes. There are so many other ridiculous examples that just scream less "a plot twist that makes you think" and more "what drugs did Kubo take today and why can't we get him off them". I don't mind an unpredictable story sometimes, but the plot twists have to make sense and not be retcons or "the author thinks it's cool so...here it is."
And...(chuckles) art? (guffaws) You think this series (starts laughing manically) has....(laughs hysterically for several minutes before calming down)
Yeah, maybe Kubo can draw better than Kishi but I wouldn't call it art by a longshot.
I note I realy do like Zommari's release , but that's because it reminds me , a bit , of the siliness Oda sometimes does .
