I guess I haven't posted in this thread since I got the game.
I should go and challenge the Elite 4 next, but I should level up my team a bit before that and I'm too lazy to do that. :P I haven't had much time to play anyway, but at least I can level up one of my team members each day with the Pokewalker. My team at the moment:
Meganium lvl 41
Ampharos lvl 42
Dragonair lvl 42
Azumarill lvl 42
Espeon lvl 42
In the honor of my Crystal, the version I've spent the most hours on, I named myself Mary and caught only female Pokemon to my team. Azumarill is there for nostalgia, since Marill was my favourite Pokemon in 2nd Gen. I wanted to make my whole team out of 2nd generation Pokemon, but there wasn't any that could use Fly that I liked. So I bought myself a Dratini with coins, forgetting about the Extremespeed one. I'm planning to add a Houndoom to my team after Elite 4, since you can't catch them before that. :/
Am I the only one who likes the Voltorb flip much more than any slot machines? At least you can use your head in this one. It's really hooking as well; I've spent hours on that game alone. At least it's much more fun than that Clefairy thing in DP where you would just follow it's instructions and win coins like crazy. It was so boring.
I'm really enjoying the Pokewalker (I call it my personal coach, since it really inspires me to walk :D) but the Yellow Forest is… so... hard. Only once I've managed to get over 10,000 steps on a day I walked there (though I'm aware that Ground, Electric and Grass types help with that) and after that, I spent over 300 watts encountering only those common Pikachus. Well, I managed to encounter two Volt Tackle Pikachus so it wasn't a complete waste. Flying and Surfing Pikachus, I'll get you someday~
