Do they have a choice with half of their entire crew caught/killed?
When did the Whitebeard Pirates lose "half" their crew?
I just don't see any reason why Crocodile would join the Whitebeard Pirates.

Don't question my logic.
You have no logic.
I want some real confirmation before i accept he lost an arm.
That arm definitely isn't aligned with his shoulder, so unless someone broke out the superglue, it's gone.
Well some people believed Iva can heal burned internals
You have no logic.
You have no room to talk, my friend.
Ace is dead. Just leave it alone already.
You have no room to talk, my friend.
i'm sitting in a room.
Your wish is as "dumb" as mine with Croc joining SHs (even if it was fun. Which you didn't get bright-light)
I do not wish. I only predict and proclaim what is truth and what is the real truth.

Are you talking with me? The truth is… Nevermind. Don't want to be banned

Oh no, please do go on.
I'll go on… ignoring you
My logic prevails once again.

This was way too obvious. If Oda shows Jozu with his right arm intact later, then it'll be a huge inconsistency on his part.
I'm still confused on how that happened. I mean, Luffy and Robin were frozen, and their limbs didn't just suddenly pop off.
Probably because he fell?
Not in the photo. Still, I think his arm is broken, not broken off.
@S.C.:

How can you say such a thing? It's visibly detached and at a different height level than his shoulder. It's not like it's bent the wrong way, sprained, no, the entire arm is unattached from the body. But I say this not knowing the qualities of Joz's fruit so it might all be moot if he can attach it back easily.

Because it does not make sense for it to pop off for no reason. Also, if someone says he fell and it broke off, wouldn't all of him break?
I'm sure Ivankov could re-grow Joz's arm. He is an engineer of the human body after all. Inject hormones which'll make his arm grow back.
The only reason i don't buy his arm broke off, is when the pirates were tellin that commander to go pick him up, it was never even mentioned. You'd think 1 of them would say "His arm broke off" or something. All they said was he is unconscious.
Maybe that picture was a mistake on Oda's part…its not the 1st time. We'll just have to wait and see.

Than he should regrow internals for Ace too and should revive WB

Both of them are dead. Once you are dead, thats it. Ace's injuries were far too severe. Even in Luffy's case, he had only a 3% of success which shows how low the rate of survival is for very severe injuries. WB was always going to die. He probably never even intended to make it out of this war alive. He just wanted to make sure Ace & his crew made it out alive.
Losing an arm however is nothing major. Shank's did. Its not hard to expect that if Ivankov can make his head grow incredibly large, turn men into women vice-versa, then using his hormones to stimulate the arm to re-grow doesn't seem all that unlikely.
Crocodiles have the ability to re-grow missing limbs. They've even managed to do something similiar for mice in labs..which was done via the stuff that does it for crocs.
I dunno about Ace, but WB is was always dead. He suffered far too many injuries and lost part of his head.

Crocodile was in his logia form and not somehow regrowing his limbs.

I'm refering to Crocodiles in nature. They have the ability to regrow missing limbs. They have conducted experiments in labs with mice to some degree of success. Of course the ultimate goal is to be able to use it for humans.

So Jozu is a crocodile and related to our Croc probably. Major twist

No. I'm just saying, It is most likely in Ivankov's power to regrow missing limbs. The process would be no different to the way he manages to make his head grow so very large.

So he could regrow WBs head as well? and Ace internals… Like i said

I dunno, maybe. But that isn't the point. Those 2 are dead. And I am talking about Joz and the possiblity of him having lost an arm.
When did the Whitebeard Pirates lose "half" their crew?
We don't know how many members they lost but half could fit. You don't seriously believe that the Marine and Shichibukai were able to kill Ace and Whitebeard but not at least half of all those nameless goons in the WB crew?
Don't forget tha they have to regrow for Oz jr as well
This is a war. In war people die and get hurt, in this case losing a limb. Oda has already made this point in Arabasta when Vivi said she wanted no one to die and Luffy himself said this was not possible. I don't think Oda wants to turn this whole arc into an idealistic fairytail where everyone gets healed or revived, it would make calling this a war meaningless. I understand that in previous arcs no one dies, but this is different. It is an actual war at the turn of a new era, and to make it more meaningful and impacting there has to be casualties.

I think it has been mostly NW pirates (as far as offscreen fodder go) that got killed, because the marines were mainly targetting them to frame WB as per Akainu's plan. I still hope we get some numbers of casualties and stuff after the war is over from Oda. I know it's not like him to do that normally but he's been full of surprises lately.
This is the "things go dark and fantasy hits its face on a brick wall" part of the storyline, so you can expect the end of the war to not be pretty. After the war, though, things will probably get a little better. There will be light.
We dont even know if he has a hand. Maybe he will reveal it and get a "Zarakikenpachi" power-up.

absolutly not, crocodiles can not regrow limbs, they have a super strong immun system that can kill HIV that keeps them from dieing of infection
whn they rip each others limbs off but they do not have a the ability to regrow limbs, I'm nearly 100% certain that the only thing any vertibrate has ever been known to regrow is their tail.
Maybe Crocodile will join the phoenix pirates and just wait for the moment for them to get to Raftel and stab Marco in the ass.

With Law now in the game I wouldn't be surprised if he couldn't re-attach the arm again. Doesn't strike me as a difficult feat for someone who can attach cannonballs and barrels to be as limb replacements.

Don't forget Oars Jr.'s leg!
Well I doubt that Law will now heal each pirate who has some wounds. No time for that. He has to take Luffy and sail the shit away

Really hope so that would be lame
Yeah it would be stupid if he says hand over Luffy and next chapter he will jump pver to heal Jozu, Oars and maybe some others as well

I dare say that the Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates Third Division would have high chances of being top priority in terms of medical attention wouldn't you agree. Of the still living seriously injured Whitebeard Pirates he's pretty much the most important one.
Not to mention that his injury seems like an exact match for Law's ability to fix.
Should he care about unknown frozen ogre-spaniard that is not even near the pier ? Or should he get out from Akainu danger as soon as he gets Luffy?

Who says that they might not regroup at some point once all of this is over? I'd find it really weird if none of the Whitebeard Pirates would say a proper good bye word to Luffy (no matter if he is awake or not) before they go their own ways again. Would strike as a good opportunity to let Law take care of Joz.

My mistake. I meant salamanders. They do have the ability to regenerate limbs.

I would think at this point, either Law or Ivankov could do so. Infact, there is no logical reason why either of them couldn't either re-attach/re-grow the arm.
Don't forget Oars Jr.'s leg!
Oars Jr is dead. He already sustained massive injuries & blood loss from when Kuma-Moria-DoFlamingo took him down, then add all the cannon fire he sustained the 2nd time around.
He's dead. Or if he isn't he'll be dead since they're not going to take Oars with them.
Well AGOG thinks Law can revive Ace, so no problems with Oars or WB as well
