@AdmiralYonkouMt.Bandit:
Yeah, his post was sarcasm about Akainu not having his priorities straight.
IMO Akainu can't be at fault yet. BB hasn't done anything except for show off his ability. He's in a catch-22 situation the way I see it, letting the WB pirates and Luffy escape or let BB destroy the marineford are both unacceptable.
Thing is there are THREE admirals. 2 were shown focused on the WB pirates and NW allies. The other guy?
Yes we have two other Admirals but still only Akainu is the one that considers it a must to take care of Ace and Luffy for the sake of the future. The other two Admirals didn't show half as much dedication to that task.
And while it is true that Teach was showing off, he displayed impressive skills in his overall plan that goes from becoming a Warlord, freeing Level 6 scum, aquiring Newgates ability and challenging the entire world. Thus the announcement that this is his era now has to be taken serious. If Ace and Luffy can't be allowed to escape because of the thread the could become at some point in the future then taking care of Teach is a bigger priority now since it appears that he just became that, what the Marines feared Luffy and Ace could grow to eventually.
In other words, if Akainu takes it serious to stop future dangerous elements then Teach is a bigger priority to him now than Luffy.
