My top 2 would be Binks' sake and Sogeking's theme song. and my favorite instruments to hear them played on are the guitar and piano.

I recently read a discussion on the Vegapunk board about people living in countries where you can't buy One Piece as a local dub. The pro Funimation sides argument was that even then you can get it legally by buying a region free DVD player and import the Funimation DVDs.

If you listen to episode two of the podcast, you can get a whole explanation, but basically Ed and I were making fun of the second teaser trailer for Strong World when the narrator says in Engrish: "He is Maji," so we ripped it off and twisted it and it caught on. Plus it gives that ironic twist that "We are Serious" when in fact, we almost never are.

He might be. I don't think its been 100% established. He was attacked by Sarquiss… we don't know if he survived, but according to the OP Wiki, Roshio is referred to in the past tense, so he might be dead.

I do understand…I read and watched the Jaya aftermath scene where DoFlamingo 'pulls some strings' and it does seem like Bellamy is killed by Sarquiss...I know Oda tends to leave bad guys alive, I wouldn't have a problem if he killed Bellamy......I personally believe Roshio to be dead...

I only noticed it at 2:30 (using the videos one onepieceofficial) when comparing episodes 426 and 433, but I think the footage was changed between episodes 430 and 431. Buggy falls much earlier in the new version, and Luffy's first fall is different as well. Any idea why they did that? Is it common for the openings to get edited after they've been put out?

Yeah. It looks like they added some more details/shading at some parts and the baboon in the first half is darker. I believe opening 10 had minor changes as well.

I've got a question as an English fan.
Is it worth buying the Funimation DVDs despite the fact than I can only play them on my computer, rip the files and then watch them on my T.V? Either that or use a cheap DVD player that uses the American format. Also that it will be quite a bit of money to invest in. Is it worth it?

I'm not sure if this was brought up already but, did you guys ever notice that 'haki' was mentioned during the jaya arc? I was just watching some old episodes and I noticed that blackbeard said Luffy's bounty was too low for someone with that kind of 'ambition', but the japanese word he said was 'haki'. Could this be the first actual mention of 'haki'?
If you could assign each Strawhat a "defining growth moment" (not physically) what would it be? Of course there are some Straw Hats who haven't had a chance to shine yet nor have they all been in every arc except for Luffy/Zoro/Nami, but who do you think "grew" the most during Skypeia? The article wasn't very interesting and its argument seemed to be that one piece is way more popular than vampire knight or naruto in japan so it should be that way here as well XD. Mentioned the new official anime translations and volumn releases. Nothing we don't already know about just thought I would mention it.

I was playing Grand Adventure for Gamecube for fun, and thought I liked a few of the voices better than the Funi version. For example, I liked Bella Hudson's Luffy (granted, the attacks sound sillier) than Colleen.

Hey OP Podcast crew. I enjoyed the group you brought together last week, especially the Mr 3 4kids joke from Steve got me to chuckle.
I'm a big fan of the Dragon Quest games, and a big reason was because of Toyirama-sans art direction and character designs. So my question, Would an RPG from Oda be as awesome as it should be? Have him on story and art and epic results will ensue. Sure One Piece could easily translate to a good RPG, but why not have an Oda original?
Plus we all know Carue could kick a chocobos ass .
