it must have a meaning ! also yachiru being a zanpakto would be so uncool !
Felch Discussion Part 3

@ChopperRules:
I've often thought the same thing, that Aizen may actually be weaker, or betrayed by Gin. He was a child prodigy, and his Shiki seems weak and not very strategical, making him easily underestimated.@PyroMonki: Me and some of my friends were just talking about this, I think that would be an interesting outcome.
It's quite possible that Gin hasn't shown Aizen his bankai. He could have Aizen fooled. If Gin himself is also a child prodigy, then it would make sense that he himself is smarter than Aizen, also a child prodigy. Aizen is the type that is full of himself and thinks he is controlling everyone. We know how he controlled Tousen, someone who was angry at the world for the loss of his friend. But what possible reasons would someone as cold-hearted as Gin have to follow orders from someone else? I guess Kubo will tell us more about that eventually.
@Friend:
It would make sense that Yachiru is Kenpachi's release. I do have a question though. If Kenpachi is just a title equating to "strongest", then what made him choose he name Zaraki also? Unless Kenpachi Zaraki is the whole title, or the Zaraki part of his name is just a name he liked.
I just saw the SS arc a week ago or so, not even. He chose Zaraki because it was the name of the section of Roukon that he grew up in.
-
Ah I see, it's been a while since I read the SS arc so that's why I asked. I'm reading it all again but Im a bit busy with Kenichi atm. Ah now I get it. Thanks for the answer.
-
@Fire Fist:
Honestly, I just want Gin to reveal he's been suppressing his power for the lulz. He's the only perfectly balanced Shinigami; there's no way that can be a coincidence. If Kubo really wanted some lulz, he'd make Gin reveal that he's actually 600/600 in terms of battle experience and promptly destroy Aizen in a single blow.
I mean, seriously, wasn't Gin revealed to be even smarter than Kaien and Hitsugaya? I mean, he killed a 3rd seat as a young kid. He could probably destroy Aizen at any time without even trying.
I knew hitsugaya is considered a young genius just like how gin was but kaien? all I remember about kaien is that he was kind and noble or so that's what I got from the flashbacks he was in and how aaronieru used his memorys.
-
Somehow I don't really understand appeal of Gin. What did he ever do, smile in an evil manner?
I don't recal asking about those series
Ahha, sorry. I tried to make my post shorter so named only the anthologies.
If you want I'll explain.
>! Weekly Shounen Jump, which publishes One Piece, Beelzebub, Bakuman, Psyren, Naruto, Bleach etc, is on a break.
Weekly Shounen Magazine, which publishes Negima, Air Gear, Fairy Tail etc, is on a break.
Monthly Shounen Gangan, which publishes FMA and Soul Eater, isn't ona break butits raws won't appear before 10th of January.
So for the first third of January there probably won't be any updates. -
Oh well I'm in a state of poverty for the first 3rd of Jan anyway. Waiting isn't that big of a deal for me, I waited a few monts for HxH to return.
-
Gin is stronger than Aizen but since Aizen caught him at a young age he brainwashed him, not liek with his shikai but like how he did to momo or whatever her name was. So no matter how powerful or how much potential Gin has he will eb forever loyal to Aizen.
Oh and Urahara's the perfect opposition to Aizen. His shikai has the ability to manipulate blood in three ways, that crimson slash of energy, the barrier mist of blood to protect him and one other. You see how Aizen's shikai allows him to control the mind of someone when they lay eyes on his blade, Urahara's allows him to control the body of someone, all he requires is his blade to come into contact with atleast one drop of the targets blood and he will be able to control his body to urahara's will. So that makes them natural enemies or something and their bankai are probably even worse.! So with this I can see Urahara coming out of no where next chapter and lunging to just get a drop of Aizen's blood that has never before been spilt until now.
-
Pretty much - except he's not named Ichigo. Sigh.
That's why I said until now =____=
-
The answer's right in front of you.:ninja:
Yachirou IS Kenpachi's sword spirit. I'm almost 100% definite.
Yes. A sword has a sword.
-
Ah, so you mean that Urahara will want to get some of the already spilled blood which is floating out there in the vacuum where the War takes place?
Why would he do that if everything will be futile anyways? -
Urahara needs to be one of the final weapons, and since I'm convinced Aizen has a backup plan of some sort Urahara can't be unleashed yet.
-
It wont be futile, if he gets the blood then he can cotrol Aizen so no matter what type of illusion Aizen casts, as long as Urahara forces him to stay still nothing will happen, Yoruichi will seduce or distract Gin, and Yamamoto can take care of wonderwiesssdfn, war over!
-
they should have done that from the beginning !
-

Well, that evil smile and strange eyes gives you the creeps more than Aizen. At least as a villain, that makes him pretty appealing. At least IMO.
@Fiasco.:

Unless Gin is just letting Aizen think that. We will have to see what happens though.
Wait, at one point did Urahara explain what his Shikai does? It's been a while since he fought, so I really don't remember that. He uses his opponent's blood?
-

I don't think that his shikai has even been touched on yet well except for the name being benihime and it had been noted in the TBTP arc that his bankai has a very destructive nature….or so I remember reading.
-
Yes. Ichigo's sword spirit has one, and based on the Zanpakto arc, most of them do.
You do realize that these are special kind of situations like being within Ichigo's mental world or having sword spirits take a phisical form in reality and parting ways with their users? Neither of these situations would apply to Yachiru. But hey, this is Kubo we're talking about after all…^^
-

yeah, that's what I remember as well. I'm wondering what these people are going on about, unless it's just a joke.

he will participate in the arc after this !

This post is deleted!

otherwise there is no reason for even introducing him !

Well, at first Isshin was just comic relief. If Kubo didn't want him to have any other role in the manga, then he wouldn't have given him Shinigami powers which were locked away for years. If Kubo doesn't use him in the next arc (or even in this arc), then I will be really disappointed. =/ I doubt that he won't use Isshin though… Ichigo will probably need yet another power-up in the next arc after all and who better to help him get it than his old man? :getlost:
...Now that I think about it, if Isshin's fate is to end up being just another power-up helper for Ichigo, then I pray Kubo really forgets about him!*
-
NxJfZ7Z0Hss
Yeah Isshin is too cool, hopefully he shows up with Ryuken or something as a bad ass team :P
-
That would be incredible Sevo, but I think ad hope Kubo keeps all the trump cards for the final arc.
-
Personally I sort of imagine that a trump card has to be revealed now in build up to the final arc. If only to raise the stakes and understand what they're up against when they reach the "final arc". And of course somehow considering how we haven't even seen Bankai yet from pretty much the high-class tier of SS (Yama-jii, Unohana, Shunsui, Ukitake) or the two most powerful of the villains (Aizen, Gin)…let alone any other potential surprises, it's obvious that unless one is revealed soon, all will be for the "final battle of final battles"...which isn't now considering Aizen just used the Arrancar as living fodder. (unless my suspicion is correct that they were what he really was going to use for the key considering how many Hollows form one powerful enough to become that-level of Espada)
-
Yeah you have a fair point Tokoro I'm just worried if someone like Urahara comes in and owns Aizen, then Aizen might pull a Shikamaru and come better prepared the next time.
-
Kubo needs to build up story and reinforce goals. Currently Bleach is paper thin tournament manga with non-excistant story.
I really personally dont care if Aizen manages to get Kings key and slay that Soul King or whatever. As far as we know King is just idling with all his might in seperate dimensions and getting worshipped and protected by zero squad.
Ánd Aizen wont destroy Karakura town if he can get already excisting key.
-
What would be interesting is if the king could kick the shit out of Aizen, I would really like to see that. It might not happen but I can't see Aizen being killed off by Ichigo. I would love the theory that Ichimaru is stronger than Aizen to be true.
-
Gin and Matsumoto back story got to kick in at some point :P

Kubo has stated himself that he plans t reveal Isshin's backstory. That's a good sign right there. We still have Uryu's father as well.

I think Ichigo's fight will end at a draw. You know that Ichigo always ends up growing stronger with each fight, but that doesn't mean that will be enough to stop him. I want Aizen to at least get injured during the fight, but chances are Aizen will pull out another trump and beat Ichigo.
And there's the matter of Ichigo not seeing Aizen's Shikai. You know he will end up seeing it, no matter how hard he tries not to.
-
In shounen the hero doesn't have to win first time. Technically even the mighty Goku was losing to Frieza until he became SSJ. I would like Aizen to e injured a little, even if it's only a few more hits, it proves he CAN be hit. Now has Urahara seen Aizen's shikai or not?

Frieza nothing: at least he hung in there until he went SSJ. Think about Goku vs. Tao Te Pie or his first time vs. Piccolo or even his fight with Raditz (where he had to be saved by his son and his former enemy and only "won" because he held Raditz down so Piccolo could kill both of them) or Vegeta (who wasn't even defeated by either of Goku's trump cards) Compared to all the abuse Goku went through with those earlier villains, Frieza was a victory through a battle of endurance.
Back on topic: regardless of whether Aizen lives or dies in this arc, something is still bound to screw SS before the arc is over leading to the two arcs that are coming next. The problem is really now: what will it be.
-
Nah course he hang in against Frieza, but Toriyama utilised the ssj transformation he hinted at previously. Anyway as you say back on topic.
I'm still not sure about a hell arc, hollows are supposed to be humans gone really bad or absorbed by something really bad. So does this count them as demons? If not I would be intrigued as to what the real demons would be.
-
all the demons will look like this: http://www.onemanga.com/Bleach/383/06-07/
-
The problem with "demons" is that they seem like they're organisms outside the cycle of "rebirth" in the world of Bleach. When a human dies, then they either become a Plus (and thus potentially a Shinigami) or a Hollow (and thus with potential to become a Menos or Arrancar down the line). Then when "they die", they basically become reborn as humans once again. Unless there is something Kubo hasn't revealed yet, demons seem outside that and seem mostly like the ones who punish the worst of the worst by dragging them down to Hell. We've seen it once with a Hollow but somehow I could imagine a Shinigami who gets way too conceited and ends up ruining everything could end up there too as punishment if Kubo remembers the balance that existed way back when…heck, I had a silly image of Aizen, once he's finally done for, not "dying" with potential to become a human again but being dragged to Hell for eternal torment and prevention from ever being reborn.
All the more reason why Kubo should explain the concept of Hell either instead or alongside the King's Realm.

Well yes, it would require some explanation, but I would like to see it. It would be something new to the world of Bleach. When it first started, the concept of Soul Society and Hollows as quite unique. Then Hueco Mundo was still pretty unique. But at this point in the story, he can't really do any more with these concepts. I don't mind another dimension being introduced, but he better not have another kidnapping.
Oh, as a small sidenote, I would like to see more development on Chad's Hollow-like powers.
-
next arc will be about ichigo vs soul society ! they will do something bad again and they will fight with each other for a reason that's not kidnapping !

Lol, they did that for movie 3 already. Rukia wasn't kidnapped, she just lost her memories. (But hey, movie 3 still kicked ass anyway.)
-
all the demons will look like this: http://www.onemanga.com/Bleach/383/06-07/
If Yammy wasn't seemingly Androgynous (thank goodness) in this form, he could have Smashed Kenpachi and a Byakuya with his wang right there and ended the fight.
But no, for all his flaws, Kubo's Hollow designs are fairly unique; he'll probably made the demons look pretty badass.
-
So, in theory, the demons are either, those who were sent to hell and managed to purify themselves or are inmortal.
-

I'd just love to go the rest of the series without seeing another kidnapping, period. Using it more than once or twice is a plot crutch, in my opinion (I know Rukia wasn't technically a kidnapping, but it was still a "Go! Save woman!" situation). I'll just be glad to see the Arrancar/Hueco Mundo/Fake Karakura Town Arc wrapped up so we can move on to something else, with or without (but probably with) Aizen. I think the arc started out really strong but it seems like a lot of time was devoted to the "weaker" Espada battles (with the exception to Grimmjow & Ulquiorra, which were good), while the "Top 3" that we were all waiting for was a bit of a let-down. Starrk and Halibel in particular were a real disappointment, at least to me. And to see the Espada hyped up so much and then brought low even before the Winter War started was pretty sad. We need a hot new threat to pick things up again.
@Chopperrules:Oh, as a small sidenote, I would like to see more development on Chad's Hollow-like powers.
This. Why hasn't this been explored further? Due to the nature of his abilities I've always wondered if Chad is undergoing some form of Hollowfication, like Ichigo. I think there are possibilities there.
…I would also kinda like to know why he looks and sounds twice his age. .

I was only saying yammy because in that picture he looks like a demon to me at least.

I personally think the situations with Rukia and Orihime being kidnapped are fine, as they both due make sense giving the situations in both cases being related to Aizen (to get the Hyogoku from Rukia and use Orihime's powers and then use her as a distraction to set up for the war and trap the others in Hueco Mundo.) That being said, he better not do it again, lol. I have to admit, Bleach seems more enjoyable the second time or more you watch/read it. I find things for this story in particular add up/make more sense watching/reading several chapters/episodes in a row than the usual week-to-week wait. That was the case for me especially with the Arrancar arc thus far. While it is quite slow in the middle, after you go back to it later, you actually appreciate such characters as the Privian Espada, Szayel Aporro or Nnoitra. When I first read their fights, as short as Kubo's chapters are, I was getting bored and just wanted to the fights to end. When I saw the fights again in the anime, I realized just how good those characters really are.
Whatever Kubo does next, I really hope he puts his mind to work and comes up with something unique and interesting. There's got to be something fresh to squeeze of the the world of Bleach, whether its Hell or whatnot.
As for Chad… man, ever since Soul Society he has gotten nothing but bad fights. Poor guy always looks cool beating up some weakling and is the first one to get pwned by the "big baddy". It's like how the black guy always dies first in a horror movie, except he's Mexican. And CHad is a great character with a good past, so he really deserves more attention than he gets. Let's face it... have you ever seen Chad on the cover of a DVD or manga? Even once? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure it hasn't happened.
-
so did orihime have sexual intercourse with ichigo yet?(i haven't been watching due to the plethora of fillers)
-

No, ever since she was taken by Aizen all they've said to each other is heal me, Kurosaki, or wait here.
Chizuru or Ishida or Ulquiorra have higher chances at that happening. Ichigo is still to scared to look at women, when he's not in cool fighting mode. ^^;
-

I absolutely agree with this. I think the problem is that the chapters are short and the fights are long, so it's easy to get bored when you have an entire month focused on only one or two battles.

Pfft, Aizen's so been there first.

I hate Aizen but this was hot.

Volume 5.
And DVD 4….on the back.
