Don't you think the last 2 arcs are enough time for them to get back.

would maybe be nice for a pollGarp was offered a promotion but he siad he was happy being Vice, he's definatly as strong as the other three then, and he's called a hero. Also I'm sure that Gol D. was strong and they had their battles.
I doubtr he's the strongest, I have a feeling the 'supreme leader' would command you being strong, and Garp… isn't.
But you can garentee he'll bring the pain... -
garp en sengeko are the last two marines to go in to battle. it would seem they are the final bosses. and thus the strongest marines
-
Regarding the mentioned aging issue with Luffy:
Does anyone think that just Luffy ages because of Ivankov's hormones? He said it would shorten it's life and maybe Oda indicated that Luffy ages because of the hormones' side-effect O.o -

Doubtful, that's nto how one piece works, if you count all big bads as videogame bosses, then Miwhak would be a petty weakling.
And I still stand that Rob Lucci is stronger than Moria, but weaker than Enel.
Moria was harder to attack.
Rob was all around strong.
Enel was all round VERY strong, but he jsut happened to meet his weakness. And the fact that Croc comes back and stands a chance agaisnt the foes means he's strong still, as with Mr.1/2/3.
Bellarmy came after Crocodile, he was weak as hell.
If you judge by which characters are introduced as enimies frist then the series wouldn't make sence.
-
in this arc the top marines assembled. sengeko as fleetadmiral has to coordinate everyrthing. admirals are all most free to attach withbeard and other pirates.only garp stays out of the battle. and i dont think it is because he liks ace. it was stated that he is at least at admiral level. so i think he is the final boss
-
Garp must have suffer a downgrade from his old days (The same as Rayleigh and WB) the 3 admirals seems to be on his prime in relation to age-experience-power, so I still think they could be stronger then him, now Sengoku is surely Marines wild card, provably the strongest if we apply shonen logic, admiral on Roger time, rival-like-relationship with Garp, head of the marines and unlike Shiki/Garp/WB looks a lot less old, really hope next chapter Sengoku enter the battlefield.

Enel was all round VERY strong, but he jsut happened to meet his weakness.Nhaa, Lucci's fight just take more time/Chapters and went more even, for Luffy to defeat Moria it took the help of Lola's gang (Nightmare Luffy) Gear 2 + 3 and a giant building, let's also remember that at the end Luffy was KO the same as Moria, agreed on the Enel part however.

True, btu personally I think thta's because of BrickBat and Oarz made it impossible for Luffy to land a hit, if Moria had been more able to hit, then he'd be K.O.'d much earlier on, no?
And most of the MoriaVLuffy was Moria running away, nto fighting back and Luffy away-time getting shadows, if none of the buying time like things happened he'd of been a much quicker foe.
Oda always makes a way to have Luffy come by last and be the final to win, be it his bad directions, or gettign thrown into water. -

Oda always makes a way to have Luffy come by last and be the final to win, be it his bad directions, or gettign thrown into water.First, yeah, but that's completely irrelevant, as that's exactly Moria's fighting style, we can say the same for the admirals and his logia intangibility or CP9 tekkai and other evasion techniques (That's if you're talking about the Kage Kage no Mi defensive properties)
And Moria running was him playing with Luffy, the shichibukai have Oars and the time on his side (add his lazyness) fight with a rookie was surely out of question. About him being a quicker foe, just think that is still unknow if Luffy could defeat Moria 1 on 1, without Oars, Nightmare Luffy and 1000 shadows so I really wouldn't put the things like that.
-
Hmmmn, true very true.
But Knowing Luffy he'd find some sort of way to follow through.
I'd most likely be a mutral battle ending with them both being worn out. -
Moria is awesome.
-
Garp and Sengoku are most likely both stronger than Admirals. Sengoku higher rank… Garp is feared by everyone in Marine H.Q. and doesn't listen to Sengoku and does what he wants and nevers got punished. Garp may even have been offered Fleet Admiral position... we don't know. All we know he is now sitting on a chair that appeared from no where like the boss of Marineford while Sengoku just complains.
Seriously where did Garp's chair come from ? If you look at other frames there are no chairs there... the chair only appears when Garp sits down..... :O He got CHAIR CHAIR fruit!
-
It's one of the chairs the admirals were sitting in at the beginning of the war while waiting for Whitebeard to show up.
It's on a middle level between the ground and the platform.
-
Ahh okay, so Garp punches Marco, jumps to mid level grap a chair, jumps up and become the awesomeness!
I got another question.. who of the Straw Hats are homosexual… With that many there is a huge chance that one or two are. In my 14 man friend group there are 4 homosexual people.

Nobody has claimed it yet, but there are slight sightings of crossdressing…. still to be confirmed.
-
I know nobody has gone out of the closet yet, was just wondering if anyone suspected anyone.
-
Anyone wanna take a stab at what happened to Inazuma or where he might be? I'm genuinely curious he hasn't been seen since the boat immediately after Impel Down.
-
The ivan-kama fellow put him somewhere safe without a doubt.. we haven't seen him in every frame, he may have moved his location few times.
About the homosexual question :
Zoro or Luffy haven't nosebleed cause of dreaming of something that is related to female.. chopper also.We got three suspects then :D

Everyone in fiction is bisexual.
-
He said it in volume 0. It might mean that the movie is that last adventure as a 17 year old.
Wait what? Was it an SBS? Is there a translation of this?

It's something Greg told us while he was at the premire of the 10th movie.

The last page of Vol. 0, the note from Oda. This one:

[/hide]Oda thanks everybody for watching the film, and says he's not the one to be thanked because he's a mangaka, not an animator, and that the ones fans need to thank are people who made it into motion.
And the last line goes:
"Please be sure to enjoy the film and watch it few times becuase it's the last adventure of 17 year old Luffy".And nobody knows what the hell did he mean :P
-
It said that .

Everyone in fiction is bisexual.
There is around 40% straight 40% gay and 20% bi do I say….
Sure maybe 50% says it is bi of the younger people but that is just some random fashion....
-
Someone should open a new thread about this.
@Natalie:
According to Natalie, Oda Eiichiro's interview was published in AERA magazine on December 14th. In the interview, he said he decided not to create full length manga other than One Piece. He thinks One Piece should be for shonen and he wrote the story under restrictions such as:
- No romance
Avoid scenes of murder and deaths
A happy party comes after each battle
Last month, Oda said the story reached the climax of its middle stages by the volume 55.
- No romance

I am pretty sure the side effects of Iva's hormones let Luffy age faster
-
Guess White Beard wont be dying then. Or maybe it will happen off panel.

That's what I fear the most. I also hope he doesn't include death in flashback when he made that statement.

Fictional characters.
They arne't any diffrent because they've been drawn by someone else, it's still a character.People draw Luffy hitting it off wi Zoro. People draw Luffy hitting it off with Nami.
They do the smae for those Shojo manga where the creators try to make it comepletely evident that one chaacter lieks this other one and gets it on with them and only likes them, fanart is sitll drawn of them withothers.Well that's how I see it.
-
I repeat; It might be his last adventure as a 17 year old BECAUSE his birthday's coming up.

**It's certainly a possibility, it just seems really unlikely.
I mean, all these years I don't recall Oda ever giving importance to anyone's birthday even once.
Then there's his words, "Please be sure to enjoy the film and watch it few times because it's the last adventure of 17 year old Luffy." The way he said makes it seem like there's going to be some kind of big change, otherwise why would he tell us to cherish Luffy's last adventure as a 17 year old like that? If it was just him becoming 18, I don't think there'd be any change at all really.**

I agree completely. But I guess we're all just alittle bit scared? Because of the horror timeskips can cause, and we dont' even know if it is a timeskip, so everyone's just anxious.
-
**I've personally been wanting a timeskip for a long time now, mostly because a 17 year old surpassing the world seems…bleh.
I know where you're coming from, but I have faith Oda isn't gonna mess stuff up.**

Isn't that how almost all Shounen ends up working out, though? :ermm:

It is, and it's retarded.
-
best we can do it is sit down and wait, we have no clues, Oda's keeping it aaalllllll to himself this time.
-
Well I'm not going to say too much ont he whole timeskip thing, but if it does happen, I have faith in oda.

"All these years" was around 3 months in the OP world.
-
It is, and it's retarded.
A timeskip is retarded.
Or him ageing after homones too…I hope it just means no more movies!
-
"All these years" was around 3 months in the OP world.
I was talking about real world time, and it was a lot more than 3 months. Almost a year the way I see it.

No, what's retarded is a 17 year old setting out to sea for the first time and doing in a year what people in their 40s haven't been able to accomplish.
-
I was talking about real world time, and it was a lot more than 3 months. Almost a year the way I see it.
The way how you see it is irrelevant. Only facts matter and at least as far as the Grand Line is concerned facts can be provided:

No, what's retarded is a 17 year old setting out to sea for the first time and doing in a year what people in their 40s haven't been able to accomplish.
If you've read the link I've provided above you'll find out that that's exactly what has happened. A 17 year old boy "conquered" the first half of the Grand Line in less then half a year. If there's anything retarded then it's to expect that a pace that has been established throughout 567 chapters and 12 years of publishing would be radically changed only to do your personal taste justice.
-

Someone enumerated days that have passed and there was another guy that measured time by the different forms the moon showed throughout the story. Both came up with around 40 days. Personally, I think it may be Oda's reference to "Around the world in 80 days"

Hahaha, that's brilliant. I've never even saw it that way.^^
