That's really because of better nutrition tho. […] But the idea of teaching biology without teaching about evolution is a tad odd… it's like teaching physics without teaching theory of gravity.
Guess what I went over in Biology today?

You have Greek Tijnn? o3o
Well, it's ancient Greek actually, but I noticed when I went on holiday to Greece it's also quite easy to read normal greek signs~
Dropping maths for art. Not enough creativity in my subjects…
! And I don't understand fuck what the maths teacher says.
How exactly is it possible for one to simply "drop" maths? :ninja:
How exactly is it possible for one to simply "drop" maths? :ninja:
You can drop Subjects like Maths if you're in your last two years.
Over here we call it AS Level, and you can drop whjich subjects you want.
And only do as many subjects as you want to do. I think that is why a lot
of people in the thread have such short timetables.
I didn't have to take math this year. All you have to take is Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2. I decided to take Pre-calculus though.
@Tijnn.:

Oooh I loooved Ancient Greek! Gotta start studying it again since I am getting rusty @_@
Kairouseki, your classes make me wanna run away crying. :ninja:
Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2.
Scary stuff there. Scary stuff. Well mostly Geometry. I was ok with Algebra. But Geometry….Geometry was and will always be my nightmare.
There's only one match class required for my major - College Algebra.
And I'm already done with it. Thank God!
And I agree that Geometry is pretty terrible. I hated it to death in 10th grade. But I pretty much hate all math.
Yeah, that was my least favorite math as well. I'd rather do problems than proofs and shape-related things. Trigonometry is easy though.
Unfortunately math keep popping up in my classes -___-; We are going to have Statistics this year. I was good at Statistics but maaan our professor is a perverted asshole and I don't really like seeing his mug around that much shudders And I have to go to his class since he notes down who are present and takes it into consideration when the exams come around. What a jerk.
@Kairouseki:

Pre-calculus is so damn useless. It's nothing like calculus at all. It's more like advanced algebra. Like I said, useless.
Yeah, all the imaginary numbers that we've been doing is kind of thought-provoking. When the hell would you need to know how to use imaginary numbers in any real life situation? Anyway, I like solving equations but sometimes they get really hard.
You'd be surprised the amount of calculus I've encountered in the real world. Luckily for me I got 3 calc and 1 differential equations classes under my belt :proud

I believe I am one of the three people in the world that actually likes doing proofs. :blink:
Lucky me though, I'm all done with math! Unless the major I pick turns out to need more math. :getlost:
Some of them I didn't mind but others…
I took Pre Calc last year and man was that a joke of a class. Only Sophomore in the class and had the highest average at the end of the year. This year I'm taking AP Stats and that is the biggest joke of an AP class in my school, after AP Art History that is. I could have taken BC Calc but everyone says that class is crazy and i already have way to much on my plate because of AP Bio. Three hours of homework a night.
