Of course, if only [hots] would belong series like Naruto and Bleach it would bring terrible shame to OneManga, they need atleast one decent series to balance those two carbage series.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn is placeholder for One Piece but still it deserves that [hot] tag 20x times more than Bleach or Naruto…

yeah i've got to say this is my second favorite currently running manga (one piece being first) but it really doesn't have much competition i mean in the beginning bleach and naruto were good but now…. and hunter x hunter is never out so i don't know what to call that eye shields done and all that really comes out now that could challange it is d. gray man but it takes so long to come out

You should check out Beelzebub and Toriko, but you are right, there really isnt that many intresting shounens out there, Berserk is another epic manga but it dont come that often.

Beelzebub I really like and I am anticipating it every week, Toriko I havent really got into what is really my fault because Toriko has really awesome concept.

But as for Reborn! Its one of my current favorites, I like charecters in this series and while Tsuna's naive and hysteric attidute annoys me it leaves him much room for charecter development and I love Tsuna when he is using his dying will flame.

I guess I should check D.Gray man too, I promised to check it out often but so far its concept has been bit unintresting but I am only at begin so I guess it will turn out real good later.

Oh I have to blame One Piece because its so impossibly epic that it has placed my current manga standards so outrageosly high that I really cant stand but handful of mangas anymore….

yeah apparently he wants the vongola rings and isn't concerned with the trinity pact making him a traitor and he also wants to kill all the other arcobaleno too so it's now a full on war against him

Finally got to see Verde. He is such a bad ass!

Like the person mentioned above, an all out war with him vs everyone else. Wonder who is going to triumph? He must be either very Strong or very stupid to go up against them all at once.

Loved episode 150. Verde is as much of an ass as I thought he'd be. Hope he puts up a good fight. Can't wait to see how Lambo handles being targeted.

As for the manga, I'm guessing Fran's teacher is TYL Chrome and both of them are joining Future Ken and Chikusa in breaking out Mukuro.

Maybe next arc could be a rescue arc where they have to rescue Mukuro from the prison, and Byakuran has that Funeral Wreath (who would probably be the most dangerous of all of them) released to stop them? Just my thoughts.

I thought 150 was pretty bland. Some forced emotion and as usual, action scenes aren't really Artland's forte. Btw, do we really need to see Tsuna using the X-Burner every single episode? 'Congraturations'!

Real mature response to a guy expressing his opinion. His "Naruto-so-bad-it's-funny" comment made plenty of sense to me. The concept isn't hard to understand. Some movies, for example, are so bad they're funny, like Leprechaun in the Hood, or Leprechaun in Space. Or more recently, Twilight!

And then some movies are that bad and more. So bad that you can't even laugh at them. Like those Olsen Twins movies! Or the new Star Wars movies. Or anything Uwe Boll makes.

And yeah, I'm with SMM on this. Reborn! has long been floating face-down in its own swill, kept aloft by the bloat of its mediocrity. Imo, it wasn't worth reading until we got the Mukoro arc, and then the Vongola Ring battle was its peak. All this box weapon nonsense is weaksauce, the attribute system barely even passably interesting or intuitive, and none of this TYL stuff is compelling either.

I started cont reading this the other day, and I got up to ch 197, can't wait to see some of the later stuff (though I wont be doing it today)…BTW, is the future arc finished or is it no where near there?

It's still ongoing, but at least the series has reached a more interesting point in the future arc. I definitely prefer the current fights over the fights in the base, even if the current opponents literally came out of nowhere, because they're much easier to keep track of what's going on.

whatever i think it's pretty good sure the box animals are kind of annoying but i wouldn't say all box weapons are bad i liked gokudera's and i was plenty fine (unless your some of those people who say they couldn't understand it when the fight vs gamma happened…. even though my 5th grade cousin could understand the thing easily so idk as to how you people can't get it) with yamamoto i mean really how did it change the way he fought answer it didn't at all it just produces rain so he can fight like he did in the battle against squalo and that note ryhoei's fighting style didn't change that much either..... and i'm pretty sure all except the recent genkshi fights were good so let me take a look at what i thought was good/not good fights in TYL arc

There are plenty of good-to-awesome manga.

Berserk, Monster, 20th Century Boys, 21st Century Boys, Death Note, Bakuman, Vinland Saga, Claymore, Soul Eater, Hajime no Ippo, Fist of the North Star, Fullmetal Alchemist, Eyeshield 21, Air Gear, Tenjo Tenge, GTO, Nana, Vagabond, Ubel Blatt, Blade of the Immortal, Mahou Sensei Negima!, Hunter X Hunter, Hana Kimi, Liar Game, Yu Yu Hakusho, Kurohime, the JoJo series, Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro, Fairy Tail, Change 123… to name just a few of the manga I read or have read, with no particular regard for quality.

And Reborn just isn't as good as any of them. That doesn't mean I won't still read it. It just means I get whatever entertainment value I get out of it, and move on. If I enjoy it more by comparing it to other manga in a REBORN! Discussion thread, where, god forbid, we discuss whether we enjoy the series now compared to what it was before or the series compared to other manga, then comparing it is just what I'll do!

Reborn is a good read. I mean, the first seventy or so chapters are useless except for introducing characters, but the plot and art have improved much since then. I think the art style is beautiful and I'd read it just for the art if it came down to that. But fortunately, I also think the plot is interesting, although the sudden trip to the future and the discovery of Byakuran's ability sorta turned me off for a while. Nevertheless, I still like it.

yeah i'd say there's a good number of people who we would say liked it and some who hate it… the future arc is where it becomes controversial as to whether it's good or not

No, I think you're 100% off, because this isn't a REBORN! forum, this is a One Piece forum, with a Reborn! thread.

An example that makes sense would be coming to Arlong Park and making a thread bashing One Piece. So, since making a thread bashing Reborn!, or Naruto (perfect, perfect example), or Bleach here would just get merged into the main discussion thread, it stands to reason that the discussion thread is to be used for discussion.

Talking about disliking a manga or talking about loving a manga falls under the purview of discussion. Every week, people come in here and talk about whether they liked this week's chapter and how it stacks up compared to previous weeks. That's discussion too. Ain't nothing wrong with expressing one's opinion in the thread it belongs in.

The only reason you have a problem with it is because you like the manga others don't. Dislike the bashing? Well then do I have the bread for you!
