I don't see how three–potentially four--people having the Sharingan. Lord almighty, at least the plot is finally making sense and going somewhere with focus on the direct core of Naruto's character. The year of Sasuke was tedious, no doubt, but if Kishimoto can write the awesomeness that has been Naruto's character arc post Jiraiya's death, I think he's warranted some slack.
I recently reread basically volumes #40-45...and it wasn't all that bad. In fact, more than ever it seems like Kishimoto knows where he's going. Once the American JUMP reaches the Pain flashback and Naruto's answer I cannot wait to reread those chapters with a well written script. I'm getting a positive feeling about the story again, and so long as Kishimoto fixes his pacing issues I think the rest of...Part II will shape up quite well. Naruto's stronger and more mature than ever. I don't think Sasuke's weak heart of hate can get him through their next clash. Naruto's heart of heroic sacrifice and understanding helped him surpass the Sannin, Pain, and Captains Kakashi and Yamato.
The horizon looks bright.

To be fair it wouldn't be usual if Tobi & Danzo were one in the same just because of personality differences Devil May Cry 3 did something similar with the characters Arkham & Jester who were revealed to be the same person eventhough they had different personalities.

Why does it need to be surprising to a bunch of guys in their late teens and twenties? Heck, why does it need to be surprising at all? As Danzô Madara can govern the Leaf into making decisions that would eventually allow him to gain complete control. It's a sort of Palpatine case, with Sasuke being the Anakin of the case.

I don't think i've ever posted in here, but as for the whole Madara/Danzo/Obito thing. Here's my guess. Madara has been changing bodies, like Oro only better. Since the time of the first. His latest one is Obito, who he used to control both Akatsuki and now Konoha. Simple as that. Obito died, Madara put his soul into Obito's recently dead body, and is now both Danzo and Tobi. As for the new left eye. It's as simple as plucking someone innocent bystanders eye out.
If it does turn out to be like that it won't disappoint me. I'm only reading Naruto now because i'm 455 chapters into it. And just feel i've devoted to much time to reading it to just give up now.

the hole everybody have sharingan now is just wierd,but im sure kishi have some point no?it does make sence that madara is using orochimaru secret jutsu only much much better,and he is replaing vassels like orochimaru did,and i guess he needed a new vassle and thats obito some of you say?
i dont know much about obito,i just know he was part of a team with kakashi and used the sharingan...
but then again it was danzou who gave the order to eliminate the uchiha clan,and everybody knows madara wanted to get revenge on the uchiha for betraying him,but i just dont think madara was danzou since then,madara didnt knew all of the jutsu also...
but then again kishi dont tell to much info about him really,and what he did tell you dont know if its true or just madara manipulating everybody... -

Last time I saw this thread we were discussing captain planet. Good to see something remotely related to Naruto being discussed?
I've been avoiding much thought on current events due to the shitty storyline but just recently I see a difference occurring, possibly even a good plot returning.
Even though the news about Danzo was expected, I actually think the whole truth behind the Uchiha clan will be an interesting read. Especially now that we have all three Sharingan users about to reach crossroads with each other.
Anyway my main point is this Manga looks like it has a chance to redeem itself, finally!

Hmm, methinks Tobi was a misspelling on Kishi's part. He probably wanted to write "Toobi" as an anagram of "Obito". Maybe he spilled his hot coffee on himself while writing down said name because he was lol'ing while watching One Piece. So instead of writing Toobi, he accidentally wrote Tobi. So the theory that Tobi = Obito is indeed, a fact.

No, I don't think Danzou can be Obito. Obito and Kakashi were about the same as we saw in the flashback (heck, if anything Obito was a bit younger) And right now Kakashi is about in his 20s or 30s I guess. And Danzo's at least got to be in his 50s. The ages don't match up.
Not to mention Obito had his left eye removed, whereas Danzou has a completely normal left eye. I guess it's possible he could've gotten a normal eye transplant, but still.

What about Danzou being Obito ? He only got one Sharigan, and around that eye there is a sort of a scar or a open wound, looks like it it because of the accident when he "died" Also he have never uses his right arm, looks like it's not working, that's normal when a stone crushed it. So i think he is Obito because he also is very strict and could-hearted. Kakashi was also a very strict when he was young. I think that's why Danzou changed so much.

Recapping. Since apparently some cant be bothered to go back a few pages and see what was aleady said.
Madara. Tobi. Danozi. Obito. They're all connected, and POSSIBLY all the same guy, but SOMETHING in there is red herring.
The red herring is probably Obito.
His name is way too similar to Tobis. Danzo just happens to be crushed on one side. And all three of them happen to have only a right eye magic eyeball, so Obitio seems like a natural link to one or the other, or even both. But no matter what you do, trying to twist the logic for Danzo to be Obitio is insanely hard due to the age, and the fact hes been around Konohoa forever, and that Kakashi knew him well.
Tobi is Madara, and Danzo might be the same. Obito is probably red herring, though his CORPSE could still in fact be involved in all this..
Its still pretty sad that we blatantly and jokingly guessed the big surprise reveal, so the only question at this point is "what fact is the lie" and also "How stupid and assinine a plot twist is Kishi really willing to do to make this work?" are the only things holding us back.
The best theory so far is that madara actually only took ONE of his younger brother's eyes 60 years ago, and that younger brother was Danzo..
