I think it is possible for Brook to involve in the war, He need a boat to go back with his nakama after all…so the Brook would help the village win the war so he could borrow a boat and... panties!!! we must not forget bout that!
Where's the rest of the strawhats?

Huh… observing Bon Clay's movements in this recent arc, I've thought of a way in which Sanji could become stronger on the island he was sent to. Bon Clay moves with a lot of spinning, always spinning, his okama kenpo has a lot of spinning. Now, Sanji's strongest kicks tend to come after a spinning movement, and he spins very quickly to activate Diable Jambe. What if he learns to spin even quicker on the island, learn to heat up his leg even more. He could have a full leg Diable Jambe, or even a two-legged Diable Jambe!
-
Nah it would be cooler if Sanji's other leg could freeze instead.

personally, i do now view people who does DARK RITUAL and summon STAIN to fight a war for them as a good people
EXPECIALLY when they sacrifice a little scared looking girl
So, why would brook get involved in other ppl's war? he need to hurry up and meet rest of the strawhat!
ps. i'm a girlI think she is referring to the situation where some people depend on dark rituals and ask help from satan to end their war. So that these people most likely are not on the good side, so brook should not get involved with them.
Or something like that :)

I think so too…
I don't agree with this though. The tribe that summoned brook seemd in dire need and I think they thought they didn't have any other choise. If you are in such dire need and all else fails, what would you do?
The tribe is probably good and probably didn't want to do this type of thing

And I think Robin will use her fruit power to finish the bridge in 3 days and they will name her queen of the bridge, and Chopper will teach the fat people about deep fryers so they can defeat the birds and finally Zoro will have sex with Perona and leave her and his child who will pick up the One PIece story in a few years at One Piece the next generation.

@John:
i take it all back….........Magneticmonkey you were right….......
oh wait i actually had this translated and from what i can gather the text refers to the morality of the people for being willing to sacrifice a girl......unfortunately the rest of the script in another dialect that we haven't managed to translate, but don't worry we have the worlds best minds working on it.........
Tenryuken is a terrible troll. You see he/she likes to make unclear statements. He/she likes to states things that are absolutely not true ;)

Tenryuken is a terrible troll. You see he/she likes to make unclear statements. He/she likes to states things that are absolutely not true ;)
but why? i cant see the gain from this kind of posting:sad:
someone mentioned robin finishing the bridge in a matter of days?
i thought perhaps this could happen, mainly because she could improve her df ability with the multi-arm training from this, as well as time duration of her fruit….....the question i want an answer to is what happens next? if this bridge is completed then will the slaves be freed, will the history be revealed, and will robin be closer to luffy as a result of this? also will oda put another poneglyph somewhere in her mini adventure....
i wonder if she will have a main opponent to beat if she wants to escape, the person she spoke to in the earlier chapters looked a bit more important than your average story character, i wonder if he has the strength to match his position? :wassat:
-
I for myself think that if in centuries the numerous slaves couldn't finish that bridge then robin won't be able to do it. I mean that's a lot of time. Even if she can grow more arms imo she won't be able to handle the weight of the rocks alone.
-

This got me to thinking. What if Kuma already knew about these people and their suffering, so he deliberately puni'd Brook there to give them a technicality clause when Satan comes to collect their souls?
Kuma: Not Deus Ex Machina, Machina Ab Deus.
-
Yah, I preety much think that too
all the strawhats(except sanji) were sent to islands that reflects their talents.
It's almost like "training islands" i bet Kuma sent them away to these islands on purpose, to save them and to train them for the future
the brook's probability the same too, it's the island that needed him, so he appeared as satan -
perhaps, but how in the world would Kuma (who could have known about Luffys Haki talent in any number off ways) know that Boa Hancock and the girls at amazon Lilly were going to allow Luffy. I mean, the island really displeases men if you remember correctly. Also, what good would Perona do zorro? I was thinking, because of the horrorfeel the island has that they might be on Mihawks birth island but I can't really say how that would affect Zorro unless Mihawk would be there, which he isn't off course. . .
Besides, is it ever said where Mihawk is from?
Also, if Brook's island is the island of scratchman apoo that could make his fightingstyle more musical and thus interesting so it is cool he went there. Sanji and the trannys is still a mistery to me though. Franky at the genius island which is most probably vegapunk who might have left some kind of pupil on that island that will upgrade Franky or sonething so good choice there. Chopper I haven't a clue about and Robin I don't understand either. I mean, she might be able to learn a bit about the lost century but that is normally not going to reflect in her fighting I would suppose. . . -
I'm absolutely sure Kuma knew what he was doing. Some of the islands we've seen (Nami, Franky), others seem to hint at what may come (Luffy - Haki/Boa's help, Usopp bug bug fruit/advanced sneakiness, Sanji and Okama Kenpo secrets/being able to hit "women", Zoro elemental cutting/unseen Perona ability that will help) not saying these are all true, but possibilities. The Longarm tribe being on Brook's island seems like a good hint, but we can't be sure. Obviously Oda has thought this through so the islands for Chopper and Robin who, by the way, haven't had their number chapter appear yet (The Fifth, The Sixth), will be complementary to their character, but in an unexpected way.
Robin's island, I'm gonna strongly guess, will teach her a bout the void century, as people have said, but furthermore, she has hundreds if not thousands of potential arms to spare, so she is gonna most likely gonna feel sorry for the people who couldn't lead proper lives like her and help them, using her Fleur Fleur techniques to build the bridge really quickly thereby not only strengthening hers, as we saw her having trouble with the fat Yama (is that the fat main priest's name), while Sanji and Zoro have already shown incredible feats of strength with their single sets of limbs, so she will have to ascend to at least their previous level to be useful for the New World, but (this is from the not only ages ago) she will likely also be thinking of and implementing new techniques for her arms, ones that can deal with massive weights. (was that a long sentence? german-speaking habit) So she will be strenghtneing herself, and learning how to effectively deal with and use force on heavy/strong things.
As for Chopper, seing as he hasn't had his Number chapter appear yet, I'm gonna guess that Oda left his island's goal particularly amiguous, so that we will have an amazing Oda-esque surprise when we finally see what he encountered there, and possibly finally lead into his Numbered chapter, seeing as how Zoro has already had his Full Name Chapter, when he sacrificed himself on the Pain Paw.
Sorry, that was lengthy, has this been said before, or are some of my thoughts new?
-
I'm having doubts that Kumi sent the Strawhats to areas to make them stronger; particularly given where some of the members ended up. My guess that is Kuma's goal was to prevent the Strawhats from becoming involved with the war against Whitebeard, and that he sent Luffy somewhere that would keep him out of the way for a while and sent the other Strawhats to places he may have thought that they would enjoy.
-

-
I'm in the camp that doesn't think Kuma sent them somewhere specifically to get stronger. I think Oda just wants story/comedic potential out of the destinations some of them reach.
-
So I've been hoping for the past week everysince the spoilers came out that we would take a break from ID and ctch up with the other straw hats.
-
Me too. Fuck Luffy, how's Zoro doing?
-
Honestly, this could be the chance we've been waiting for to see Franky and Brook really show their colors, as they haven't had as much of an opportunity to do so yet. Instead we're probably going to get a one-page explanation of the wonderful events that happen to them, which will be stretched out to a filler each Strawhat later.
-
then I pray to god that he watches over their mortal souls if they fuck those fillers up!!!
anyway, I think it is about time for a glimps of the other SH's aswell
-
I got a theory about Kuma's ability. His ability sends people to places where those people want to be sent. Kuma has no control over the destination. I got this hint when he both asked Moria and Perona on where they want to go. It's like he's asking these so the people he doesn't really want to harm will think the place they want to go on the moment he will use his abilty on them. If he doesn't ask them, then those people sent away will be brought to a place they are thinking subconsiously.
-
so sanji was really thinking of Okama's then??? O_o

Zoro's Thoughts while standing in front of Kuma at Shanoby: Man I wonder how Perona is doing…
yeah.. that's just the loophole..
-
well i don't think aither Kuma send the SHs flying over to some island to upgreat them. and perona mension what se wished for and what she got insted so i don't think Kuma's powers works like that.
Anyway I don't see wy would Robbin help the WG with a project of them held for 7hundred years.Unless maybe if there is something importmant for her to gain. further more she is the famus Nicco Robin an anemy of WG, is she going to be ok there
(was thak kayosuki hankuffs?http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/524/07/)
or could she eventualy end up at ID just in time for lufy to refree her??
(long shot…:wassat:) -
I haven't read the entire thread yet, but I like the idea of Kuma sending the SHs to islands for specific purposes, be it for self-improvement, or to help others. I'm not sure if all of them have been mentioned yet, but these are my ideas.
Robin: She can use her fruit to help build the bridge, possibly improving her control of the DF abilities in the process.
Usopp: He may gain some knowledge of poisons from the vast fauna/insects/creatures etc. in the forest.
Chopper: Negotiate with the birds for the humans? Lol…
Brooke: The country seems like it needs some help. I don't think this directly relates to Brooke's abilities, and Kuma just wanted to send anyone (relatively) strong that would be willing to help strangers.
Zoro: Kuma has put this guy through a lot of shit, and feels bad for the guy. He's just trying to get him laid, imo. Think about it, a man and a woman in their late teens/early 20's alone on an island? He better hit that!
Nami: Either to improve her weapon, or maybe her understanding of it?
Franky: Upgrades!
Sanji: He could learn some of the "Okama Kenpo" techniques and incorporate them into his own style. Or... get sexually abused, but I don't think that helps him out in any way.
Although when the time comes I'd like it if they gave brief explanations as to what the strawhats did to get back together, and what they did on the islands. That'd probably give the anime some filler fuel that didn't suck horribly, and wouldn't put off their entry into the new world for too long.
-
I think the cover stories might show what the other straw hats are doing in a couple of weeks. Zoro and Franky just need to get their obligatory cover with a random animal.
I disagree with the theory of Robin finishing the bridge using thousands of hands. Even in One Piece, it sounds a bit ridiculous to have a bridge that was in construction for 700 years get completed in a couple of days. Especially since its far from completion. I also find it strange that Robin; who has so much knowledge about the One Piece world and its history; doesn't know anything about the bridge. It doesn't look like its anything top-secret as its in the middle of the sea and anyone can see it.
-
Yeah, I don't think Robin will be able to complete this massive bridge that has been incomplete for centuries. If she gets anything out of this slave deal, other than heavy labor and brutalization, it would probably be more in the line of tidbits of information and rumors from her fellow slaves on the darkness lurking at the bottom of this. Don't know how she's going to get away though, and we don't really need another ''rescue Robin'' arc.
And if she did use her powers, she could get frostbite 100x faster, and that's no fun.
-
I just cant wait to see them again! All of them are going to improve in some shape or form for the new world. It's so obvious.
-
Okay, after reading this thread so far, I must say the ideas are…creative, but some of these are a bit far-fetched. First, Kuma, being a highly intelligent cyborg, he is definately able to use his Paw-paw abilities to "push" people with accuracy and precision to a specific island, the locations which maybe listed in his "Bible".
Anyways, here is my take on crew's situations.
Zoro: With the aid of Perona's Hollow-Hollow powers and its abilities to "hollow" out a person's will to live and "hollow" out things with explosions (Ghost Rap), she can strengthen Zoro's resolve and stamina, as well as his temper with her annoying him.
Nami: Pretty self explanatory. She is on an island where people specialize in the study of weather, which she has innate ability to detect. With the studies of the scientists there as well as their strange devices, she will be able to use the climatact to the best of it's ability.
Usopp: When we last left him, he meets a hero-like person, Heracles, on an island where everything is kinda deadly (man-eating plants, giant rhinocerous beetles). Heracles is possibly going to show him how to be more couragous and heroic, whether or not he is under the disguise of Sogeking, and the forest will help his survival skills.
Sanji: Being on an island where okamas live, and okamas are the one thing Sanji probably dislikes the most in the entire world, he will run as long as he can just to evade them. And since running strengthens the leg muscles, it will improve his kicking power exponentially.
Chopper: Landing on an island where extremely large birds dominate the human inhabitants will prove a challenge...he may act as a diplomat between the two species, but his doctoring skills will possibly come handy for some unknown reason at this time.
Robin: Currently she is in the East Blue where a bridge is being built to connect the islands, and its construction started 700 years ago. If she were to go to the beginning of the bridge, which should have been the same from 700 years in the past, she may get some clues regarding the void century.
Franky: Being a cyborg landing in a country famed for its futuristic technology, he is surely able to gain knowledge on how to improve himself, his weaponry, and the Thousand Sunny. Maybe even get some knowledge on Dr. Vegapunk and the Pacifistas (like Kuma).
Brook: This one is extremely mysterious, as he is put into a situation where he is basically in control of a large cult who believe he is the Devil. However, it seems they are in dire need of assistance because they are under the threat of the Tenaga Tribe. Since Brook used to be the captain of the Rum-bar pirate crew after Yorki left, he can use his leadership abilities to teach them how to defend themselves, and in turn assist him with anything he needs, like a boat.
That is all I got for now...
-

Dies laughing -
Ok, going to cover the ones that many people are speculating about:
Zoro: I'm going on a limb here and going to say that with him being with Perona, he will somehow learn some more spiritual moves.
Chopper: I'm feeling that he may learn how to deal with MOnster Point here. Since he is at a place where giant animals (birds) rule, when he transforms, they may look at him as some sort of figure to take down or deal with the birds???
Brooke: I'm going to say that since we seen Apoo is a man of music, and he is of the long-arm tribe, maybe, just maybe it will be something strengthening Brooke's musical attacks, or something of that nature. I really can't see Brooke picking up some demon stuff here. He just isn't that type of character. Maybe Brooke will help the people and have some sort of musical battle with the Long Arm tribe??
Idk, those 3 are the hardest to speculate!
The rest seem pretty easy
Nami: Weather upgrade
Robin: History, plus some more Hana Hana techniques
Sanji: Okama fighting style
Ussop: To be braver/ strong warrior
Franky: UpgradeI really hope Oda brings them back soon, as a One Piece reader for a very long time (years), you really feel the affects of them gone!
-
but anyways I want to see them and spoilers are supposed to come out anytime now. >_>
-
Zoro: I expect he will upgrade his sandai Kitetsu to nidai Kitetsu in the kuraigana islands. Then he will have three o wazamono. Of course his skill will level up, too.
-
I like the theories on Robin using Hana Hana powers despite her clearly being shown with handcuffs. Of course they may just be normal cuffs but I don't think the WG is that stupid.
-

Since she does have a new bounty poster out that reflects her current age and appearance, I can agree in principle. In support of the contrary view though, the guard never referred to her by name. Nor was it indicated that she was to be transferred from Tequila Wolf to Impel Down, which is what I assume they would want to do. Leaving her at a minimum to medium security facility like TW seems even more stupid than not cuffing her with Seastone.
-
I finally got it!
Robin's upgrade will be massaging techniques. She helps the builders feel better and then they finish the bridge, which is actually heading to Raftel. Then 500 chapters later the SH's come across her on Raftel and find she used One Piece to buy the WG and search for the Poneglyph which happens to be tattooed onto Luffy and Ace's inner thighs in small font. Then her massaging technique will come in handy again.
Man I'm good.

that was epic.. facepalm

Since people are wanting to talk about this topic, I thought I'd bring the proper thread back up. I wonder if Nami will have any sort of interaction with Dragon, seeing how they're both weather related.
-
-__- why does everyone believe sanji's gonna learn okama kenpo .. ? coz he's on momoiro island? i don't think he'll copy the fighting moves .. used by okamas .. since he is really … reallly disgusted by them Oo and it also doesn't quite fit with his personality ... and imagine .. sanji returning to the baratie showing his okama kenpo hahahhaha ^^'' zeff would laugh his ass off .. really believe me .. sanji wouldn't fight like that ...
i do like the idea of chopper learning to somehow control his monster point. ^.^
to tell you the truth, brook's the only one i'm really clueless about -__-''
i'd wish for some new information .. even if it's just a few pages ^.^

Dude. One of the best theories I've ever heard about Sanji in this case. gives you a deluxe cookie
I agree with TräshCät on this one; I don't like how people think that JUST because Sanji's on that island he'll become one of them. It's just too radical a change in many senses, not only for the series but also for the fanbase.
-
This thread is about the chapter covers where you see what is happening elsewhere in the one piece world, mostly about what is happening to sanji? do you guys think that sanji is going to be one of… "them" for the rest of the series? or will he get back to normal ?
-
Since this thread is about everyone of the Strawhats and now just Sanji. Shouldnt the thread title be like "The Strawhats chapter cover stories - What is happening to them" or something more appropiete.
-
thats correct is better all the mugiwaras.
and, sanji was transformed in one okama. now, sanji will go to amazon lilly and … you know, another time sanji

do not want
gief manly sanji back
i can foresee lots of gags incoming ò_ó

he'll return as an okama, untill he sees nami or robin.
