This is a question I would ask if this was an Asian movie and I lived in Asia. It could be a white guy to appeal to Americans and Europeans, but it could also just be that they couldn't find an Asian guy to play lead. John Cho can only spread himself so much.

It's the same bloody trailer. All they did was throw Gaiden and "Directed by Uwe Boll" on it. Man, it's sad that it lasted as long as it did. Should have known something was up when we got a full trailer even before it was announced the movie rights had been purchased.
