To this day, I still think Atreyu looked way too much like a girl.

Hey, don't worry about it. I liked Space Jam.

Sorry for double posting but I just thought I'd share this. TGWTG adds lyrics to theme songs of shows that don't have them. Here he does Cowboy Bebop.
http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/thatguywiththeglasses/theme-lyrics/5824-cowboyb
Well, if there was only one anime for him to watch, then it's a good thing it was this one. Also, this isn't his first Theme Lyrics bit. He's also done Rugrats, Batman, Gargoyles and more.
-
I actually watched his Nostalgia Critic of Animaniacs.
Not bad, not bad at all.
-
Today I was looking at the episodes list of The Nostalgia Critic on wikipedia, and what did I see?

Oh my fucking god, I just can't wait to see him reviewing this piece of shit. When I was a kid, I loved it. After some years, I saw it again, and oh boy, It's so bad. And I mean really bad. -
I didn't think it was that bad. defiantly has that 80's charm though.
-
I thougt the page master review was hillarious. The sonic sez was priceless! XD
-

When Bob Saget even says it was bad, you know some shit went down that made him dread having to do the show.
-
eh, I can still sit down and watch that show. others, i've tried, and they just hurt. like alf. I tried watching that a little while ago. that was bad.
-
respect, I surely can't without raging. The ANNOYING characters, the lame jokes and…and I just hate that show.
In fact, It is the worst show I've ever watched. -
Here's a new segment that Doug has come up with called Video Game Confessions.
http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/138-vgc/5904-ep1mario
I dunno. It was okay, but I'm kinda iffy about this.

Could someone rip/YT the episode about the 15 worst comic book characters that went from good to bad? I tried to watch it on the site but it wouldn't load :/

The Nostalgia Critic reviews Moonwalker
http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/thatguywiththeglasses/nostalgia-critic/5929-moonwalker
Damn, now I want to see the full Smooth Criminal segment from the movie. Awesome.
-
You know a movie is baaaaad when I can't even watch the review itself. I couldn't stand to sit there, listening to and watching MJ's songs and videos. That's a part of the 80s and 90s I want to forget.
-
Oh come on, MJ used to be cool before he snapped…
-
ya, but that movie still sucked. i'm in the same boat. i let it play till the end, but i was getting distracted by other things. even the garbage pail kids review, i sat through.
-
the movies he is reviewing are all shitty in one or another way…also moonwalker..i don`t know how some1 thinks this is actually good movie...:getlost:
so even the review has to suck...and it does..pigballz suck -
I like classic Michael Jackson music.
Didn't stop me from being majorly creeped out by his actions in the past 10 years.
-
The review was great and funny as hell. But I never saw the movie. And I don't regret it.
I'm glad NC and AVGN both reviewed Moonwalker. -
Yeah, the movie was pretty bad, but Michael Jackson is still the undisputed King of Pop (even if he has gone crazy in recent years). His music is just awesome. Anyway, here's the Smooth Criminal segment from Moonwalker, and the NC was right. It's freakin' A!

Moonwalker was a crappy movie, but a great video game! I speak for the Sega Masters version though.
There is nothing wrong with liking Michael Jackson's music. It's just when people think Michael is immune to all crimes BECAUSE of his music, that's when I have to disagree. I know a lot of people didn't do this, but I know there were some who did it.
-
Basically, you can track Michael Jackson's spiral into madness and paedophilia by how white and unnatural he begins to look. The freakier he looks, the worse he is. Moonwalker was basically the beginning of the end. One huge warning sign (perhaps a cry for help) that no one saw for what it was…
And yes, aside from the random moan-off, the Smooth Criminal segment does, indeed, rule.

New Nostalgia Critic review: Top 11 dumbest Superman movie moments.
It was pretty funny, but I don't why he left out the kryptonite mountain.
IMO, the kryptonite mountain is the most illogical B.S. ever conceived in a superhero movie. -

Oh my fucking god, I just can't wait to see him reviewing this piece of shit. When I was a kid, I loved it. After some years, I saw it again, and oh boy, It's so bad. And I mean really bad.I hated that fucken chessy "twinky-twinky" song at every end of the episode. I use to watch it as well and loved it but now I want to beat the living shit out of this show. I'm with you
-
I can honestly say that I'm not a Superman fan. But, this whole list was a great showcase of bad moments throughout the movies. The best ones for me had to be Lex Luthor's turning into Nuclear Man in IV, which made about as much sense and was just as stupid as the movie in its entirety. The slapstick intro to III was just as bad. It's still funny, only because that whole scene is utterly ridiculous that you just can't help but laugh and wonder what the hell went on in the writers' heads when they came up with that.
I knew right off the bat that NC was gonna mention that whole "Spinning around the Earth and rewinding time" bullshit. I can't believe I never thought about how impossible that would be even if it did happen.
-
I think my favorite part was "You broke the wa-wa machine!"
But my favorite "dumbest" thing on the list was the glasses. That's always bugged me. HOW DOES NOBODY RECOGNIZE HIM?
-
how does no one figure out sailor moon for that matter. ain't tv great. :P
-
-
Wow, Superman is such a dick!
-
i know. the glasses put some sort of hypnotic spell on you!
-
I have a total nerd crush on Doug (Nostalgia Critic, I think he looks like a young Weird Al :[) and James (AVGN whom I found through NC). I think it's awesome. He hits on most of the stuff I was into as a kid and looking back, a lot of those movies and TV shows were fulla bullshit.
-
I was hoping that he'd mention the scene in Superman IV when he puts the great wall of China back together just by looking at it. That was pretty stupid, but I guess it just wasn't as bad when compared to the other moments on his list, like the God-awful special effects.
-
Eh… It really is the most ineffective disguise ever... I heard once how the creator of Superman explains it...
Clark Kent slouches... A lot... Superman always stands up straight, making him appear to be at least 6 inches taller... Other methods I don't particularly remember at this point...
I heard people say things along the lines of this...
Nobody even suspects Clark Kent of being Superman because he does nothing to imply that he IS Superman, Kent only seems to be doing his simple job like every other Average Joe... If people were to ask most of the citizens of Metropolis who Clark Kent was, they'd probably say "Who?"

The NC reviews TMNT this week. Never saw the movie myself and…well...can't say I plan to.
http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/thatguywiththeglasses/nostalgia-critic/6246-tmnt
-
It was a good review. But you have to read the TMNT comics to understand some of the background stuff like Karai and April being interest artficts and history stuff. And Raph being the rebealious at times in the comics to understand the movie.
-
God that movie stunk out loud, but apparently all the "fans" at TGWTG are up in arms over how he "bashed" their favorite film and made fun of some VA guy who's apparently dead. Jesus christ let the man have his opinion.

Oh God. sighs and you know funny thing is, as he said in the video, the only reason he reviewed the movie is because all his fans wanted him to. Well, we'll see if he listens to them any more.
-
i thought the movie was enjoyable. though, I can totally see his points., and totally agree. I wasn't expecting a miracle when I watched it in the first place. and Splinter's voice bothered me too.
-
I started watching Linkara recently. Funny stuff. It reminds me why I don't read superhero comics anymore: Continuity Lockout and piss-poor writing.

Yeah, that's about right. I don't think I could ever get into comics at this point, because I could never keep up with the continuity, and different series, and AUs and all that BS. Plus, there's just no end to it. Another thing I hate is how keep killing off characters and expect us to react to it. Oh my God! Jean Grey died! ….for the fifth time! Oh no!
-
Linkara is great, and thankfully one of the most productive members of that site. Nostalgia Chick could take a page from his book.
And i was really utterly and truley bored out of my skull when i was watching that TMNT movie. The turtles had no worthwhile interaction besides whining, the character designs were butt ugly and the villains was abysmal. Seriosly i was expecting Shredder, or Bishop, heck even the rat king would have sufficed and what do i get? Mr.Chin and some stone gargoyles jesus christ that movie blew.
-

Well, said in all seriousness, this sentence is equal to saying "I don't read Japanese comics because they're filled with creepy, underaged catgirls."
I've just seen a couple of nostalgia reviews and 5 second reviews (does this site load slowly for everyone else?), but I mainly stick to blogs and message boards because geek sarcasm doesn't work that well when you have to deal with faces and voices. Lisps…
-

Marvel has since stopped doing this since Quesada took over. After all, his infamous first, biggest new policy upon taking command was "dead means dead."
-
I think what TMNT really suffered from was the villains. It's just not TMNT without Shredder, even if he's just a dead memory. Seriously, it had the Foot Clan, but no MENTION of Shredder?
TMNT had a lot of good things going for it. The action, the CGI, the humor, and the atmosphere. But it had a lot of things NOT going for it. Forced character development, if any, forgettable and ultimately boring villains, gaping plot holes, and those really really awkward "soul-bearing" moments. So it balanced out, neither a great or an awful movie, just a "meh" movie.
So basically I agree with most of what the Critic said. I'm not AS judgemental as him, but I see his points.
If they DO make another one (at least I'll have faith in the CGI), they have to bring Shredder back. Seriously, if Shredder comes back then that will act as a beacon to hearken all the other factors that made TMNT great. And they have to get Uncle Phil to voice him again.
-
Marvel has since stopped doing this since Quesada took over. After all, his infamous first, biggest new policy upon taking command was "dead means dead."
And that is a position, I must say, I whole-heartedly respect.
-
Yeah, good to see they're going in a good direction.
That's the problem with publishing houses owning the rights to a series. In Japan the rights to a story belong solely to the author, no one else. Hence why we never see old series resurrected or changed. Everything stays exactly as the author had written it. I prefer it that way.

Ya, Steve Rogers (the original Captain America, for those of who have never a Cap comic) has been dead in the Marvel U longer than anyone originally expected.

…that rule got thrown out maybe two years after he instituted it.
The gates of Heaven are revolving once again...
