I have stated my point clearly. it happens in movies, books, manga, anime cartoons, plays, hell name any entertainment.
have you never seen where someone tells the person that you will find that if you go to this place. Then when the person leaves someone else is like "how could you send them there, they will die" or the person laughs and goes "well were never be seing him again" or whatever.

The point was the guy wanted them to die, and for the Prisoner to withheld info that could lead to luffy's and Mr 2's death and just laugh about it supports the claim, but if you still disagree whatever its not that much of a big deal. Friend.

Hinscher's comment isn't about cliches or anything. I believe it's about fairness. Croc's had his "turn" and now it's time to give others a chance.
Croc was the major villain in a previous, and great, arc. In all fairness, while Croc can do something cool but he has to take a back seat to the new guys.
Also, seeing that new Warden with the sword…I can't help but think of Zoro.
that still doesn't mean he "wanted" them to die. also while looking at this raw again, notice how they are all in a monitor type room exactly like the ones we have seen on other floors. to me looks like there is indeed some jailers old room. and with all the monitors wouldn't be hard for them to quickly hide if someone were to check out that room. they would see them coming. and with the wolfs den near or by that place probably does't get checked often or at all.

A double execution does seem very likely at this point. He is too weak to break anyone out now even if he does get food (unless Oda does the meat = miracle medicine for his wounds again >_> hope he doesn't for this situation, would rather it be something more like what happened to Zoro and his wounds).
However it seems they are not actually in front of Ace like we thought they were in the spoiler thread but still in Level 4. Luffys group could still get there early enough or just late enough that they can get him to level 5.5 before Magellan gets down there or catch up to them before they get to the ships.

Yeah, but you're tired of it because you've seen it so many times. This is the first time Ivankov has met Luffy. How is he supposed to know of Luffy's willpower, endurance and resilience… Either way, I understand that it's lost some of it's effect for the fans, but from a story perspective, it fits right in and is consistant :)
I am starting to believe that pain is the way to Haki, since Luffy started to use Gear 2 he put his body in an high level of pain and with Magellan poison+Ivankov treatment he shoud have developed it very nicely.

Also like he said, Saboady Archipelago is literally on the door steps of the Marine HQ, it won't take them long at all to get to the HQ on short notice if they are already there looking for Rayleigh.

As much as I like seeing new guys appear in OP, I still think Croc deserves a second chance. [fanboy]He's my favourite OP villain after all. :P[/fanboy] Of all the previous OP villains, his comeback would imo make the most sense. And with the recent progress in the story, his chances to start something new did definitely rise.
Oh, and I think this "no enemy that was defeated once comes back to the main story" is kind of cliche and stupid. And no, I don't count Buggy. That guy stopped being a enemy/villain 500 chapters ago. Now he's a running gag.

With Luffy's lifespan decreasing so much, I really hope that he doesn't die the same way as Roger. As someone else predicted, it'd be really awesome if Luffy is almost dead at the end of OP but Chopper manages to save him thus achieving his dream of curing all diseases.
Also, this was an awesome chapter. I could have read atleast 5-6 Bleach chapters in the time it took me to finish this. So much info. And the Shiryuu guy must be cold blooded. I really hope Luffy manages to save Ace, even if he has to fight his way to Marineford. I really want to see him meet Whitebeard.
