Hmh I kind of "accept" those races,because you know them from other things(movies,books etc.) but I don't like this whole creation thing of a new race which is just important for 3 chapters.I'm sorry but i really can't think of an example(except those blue guard things).
You see.I really like when authors are creative and stuff but there shouldn't be too many of those "creations"…unless you want to end in something like Star Wars lol.

A really cool chapter, Buggy and Luffy are just awesome.
And these creapy blue glory creatures are really wierd.

btw Luffy will cause an enormous ruckus, he will free Jimbei too and they'll escape through this underwater opening we've seen.

a) supernova flinched

c) she just didnt bother to mention them

If I recall, Level Five was where they kept those with bounties higher than 100,000,000. Which is what made the Supernovas noteworthy in the first place. So if they were captured, they'd be on Level 5.

Perhaps some got captured, but haven't gone through the proper procedure yet and as such haven't been "baptized" yet?

It has been said that prisoners with a bounty higher then 100 000 000 beri were kept at level five and the supernova's all have +100 000 000 bounties, that is what makes them supernovae

Even if the supernovas were captured, that doesn't mean that they're at ID. Perhaps they're being held somewhere else temporarily and are still being sorted out based on their bounties. I can't see 500 pirates being put in ID in the same time. And I cant see 500 pirates being identified in less than a week either. Besides, ID is the best prison but not the only prison

great chapter by oda, i didn't expect luffy might meet jinbei this early. I got a feeling the main villain (if there will be) on this arc is that mazelan/magellan, i wonder what type of guy he is though, is he a df user or haki user or both.
domino and sanji are perferct match, if domino is wearing an eyepatch and her other eye is covered by her hair then i guess she is not that smart lady after all. hehe

I don't think the marines will put the sn on a temporary place, because they are really strong and no one will guard them, all of the strong marines are at the marineford unless the gorosei considers part time job.

But right now, the situation's different. Sengoku's pissed like hell right now and the marines have their hands full. We also saw in one of the previous chapters that Sengoku designated the task of sorting out the pirates to some lower ranking marines. So, it's possible that the supernovas will somehow manage to blend in with the fodder and get their @&&es thrown into some lower prison (perhaps the marine grove on shabondy) But I guess we'll have to wait for Oda to confirm anything. Since Domino didn't mention them, that'd mean they expressed pain during their baptism. But somehow, I can't imagine most supernova (e.g. Kidd, Law, Hawkins etc.) crying out in pain.

any1 noticed so far that buggy was now able to split himself vertical??
seems that on the GL he learned to improve his DF-powers
before i also recognize him splitting in horizontal parts of his body

also love this system of 5 lvls in the tower…
reminds me of the tower of DB where general white was placed :)

I don't see why Domino should have mentioned the Supernovas, if they're there. Sure, they are all strong, but much weaker and much less important than Jinbei, Crocodile and Ace.

I was thinking the same exact thing reading this chapter. This is a good thing as that tower battle was one of my favorites throughout DB. I would love a fun battle arc with Luffy (and Buggy helping) defeating level bosses on his way down the tower. An utterly generic formula that so rarely fails.

Domino didn't mention any of the Supernova because she was speaking to Hancock. Boa knows who all of those men are and wouldn't be surprised they didn't flinch.

She didn't even know who Luffy was(man who downed Croc&Rob Lucci) so what would be the point in telling Boa Luffy didn't flinch when baptized.

Maybe the reason she didn't mention any of the SNs is because they all screamed like pussies when going through it? or maybe they haven't been captured. Those seem like the choices to me.

I don't think it has to do with fame. Someone not flinching to that torture technique is a feat in itself. I think of the recent prisoners sent to ID those are the only 3 who didn't react to the torture and it warranted mentioning.

I think it has to do with both fame and the torture thing. I mean, Croc, Fishman Sam and Fire Boy are all damn famous compared to the Supernovas (even though they're well known too), and if she's first gonna mention someone for the sake of randomness, those three would be the most natural.

They could, but it seems like the mangroves are so near Impel Down, it would be kind of weird, espescially since the Supernovas are strong as hell, so they would probably want to put them in the best prisoden they have. Putting them in a weaker prison together with 500 others at the same time would be even more chaotic and have bigger chanses of uproar, than just throwing them in Impel Down as fast as possible. Also, it's clear that Oda's got more in store for the Suppaaahnovas, and this arc would be perfect to let them get som shine-time, at least some of them.

マゼラン is both Magellan and Mazellan.
For example, the famous GPS manufacturer Magellan is also spelled マゼラン.

Magellan is far more famous and common, so I went with it.

As for your second question, yes, he does say her name. (probably not a good idea considering there are Den-Den mushi around…:ninja:)
I don't know about scanlations as I never read them.

Erm a simple reason why she didn't mention the Supernovae was because she didn't have the time to list every pirate that didn't flinch in baptism and opted to only mention the really famous ones.

I think the reason the SN weren't mentioned was that, all the 500 prisoners were brought in together. So to get the job done quickly they were boiled like 25 a piece. Not one by one.

Actually, when Buggy first fought with Zoro, Zoro cut of Buggy's arm VERTICALLY what means that he could already do that. Besides, I really think it was the axe that made him split. He just won't die from a thing like that.
Anyway, I think buggy can split in all directions. Splitting his hands from is body is actually vertically too though it can be a matter in how the position of his hands are. But when he fought Luffy he could do it no matter how his hands were pointed

Not moving an eyebrow does not equal screaming in pain. If they'd for instance would have said a simple "ouch" it would most definitely not mean that they've screamed in pain, while at the same time they'd not have the class of Crocodile, Jinbei and Ace. There's no need to always think in absolutes.
