I still don't have a Wii. When they first came out, I didn't have the cash, and by the time I did, there weren't any in stock. One store even lied to me, saying they would sell them on Christmas Eve. I have a sleepless night, stand in dangerous areas (DC will do that to you) and finally got to the mall and waited an hour, just to hear the bitchy woman say "We do not have any Nintendo Wiis."
Hopefully I can get one tomorrow, I've called a Gamestop and an EBGames, both of which said they were hopefully getting a shipment tomorrow. I also heard Best Buy might be selling them tomorrow also.
I'd like to ask, is the Wii really worth it? I have a friend online that says it's really good, but I don't know anyone that actually has it around here. I've heard nothing but good reviews, but I just want to make 200% sure (as I'm already 100% sure I want it).
If I do get it tomorrow, I can trade my Gamecube in to pay $50 towards it, so I can buy a game. Obviously, it is a gaming sin not to get Zelda, especially for me (Zelda's basically my religion). But besides that, does anyone have any ideas on any other games I should get later?
@Impel:
I just got those Wii comercials with the Japanese guys!
You know, where they say, "We would like to play." I finally get that they're saying, "Wii would like to play."!
That commercial's weird, at first I thought I heard them say "We would like to play with your Wii." making me think Nintendo was actually laughing along with people about the name, especially because of a certain Asian stereotype.
