The physical Japanese release on Switch has English language support, but I'm trying to figure out if the physical Japanese release on PS4 does as well. If so, I'd like to import it.

I agree that his one punch isn't all that great compared to other characters.
But its cooldown of 4 seconds is way too short IMO.

If it was any longer he'd no longer be "Doomfist" but instead "Occasional Doomfist."

Yeah, Doomfist definitely isn't OP. He can one-shot many characters, which casts confusion on Roadhog's recent nerf being because they don't want one-shot characters, if he gets off a fully charged punch and the target then hits a wall, but it isn't the easiest thing to do and makes you incredibly exposed to attacks during it. I say he's pretty balanced, if not a bit weaker than he should be.

All I can do is cross my fingers and hope that the Western release will have voice acting and an orchestrated soundtrack like what happened with VIII. It's a tall order, I know, but let a man dream…

Haven't done Salmon run yet, but really want to.

Overall I'm loving this game. I don't know if it's balanced better or if I'm just marginally better now, but I feel like I'm picking things up quicker and getting better at a faster pace than in the original.

I find Salmon Run very addicting, I think I like it more than the rest of the game honestly. But boy, does it get tough.

Doomfist is here! And no, not voiced by Terry Crews. That would've been fun, but it just wouldn't have been practical.

Played a bit of him on PTR. He's definitely going to take some getting use to. Sombra is a SUPER hard counter to him, if he gets hacked he's pretty much defeated due to his core attacks all being abilities.

My confession I guess isn't that big of a deal, to the point I hope I'm not trivializing things by posting it. My confession is I've been away from this forum for so long due to embarrassment. I joined when I was 14 back in 2005 and I slowly matured on here and it… wasn't pretty. I said many stupid things, and for a time I was even infamous I'm pretty sure. I never played Crash 1 as a kid (started with Crash 2) and it is definitely kicking my ass. I'm thinking of just moving on to 2 and 3, which were the games I loved as a kid.

If this whole story with Tekken 7 is true, then Harada can go fuck himself. It's a terrible design. It is a terrible character. You wanna be a child and be all "Well you won't get it! Enjoy your shirtless dudes!" then fuck you and your games. This ain't GAF's fault. Don't design shitty characters that clearly are just to cater to weeaboos.

I'm pretty sure that after ''his death'' in 3, there was a scene of a blood trail leading up to a cliff, so he definitely was still alive and moving. He could have fallen down into the water and washed up somewhere.

Yeah at the end of GOD3 Kratos was shown to stab himself but he wasn't shown dead but rather we see a blood trail off a cliff.

This doesn't matter. That was just a stupid post-credit scene added in probably just to keep their options opened. It doesn't change the point that Kratos has zero point to continue living.

Well you guys make some interesting points. But the problem now is, what can they do with Kratos? He already killed all the Greek gods. Maybe they have him time travel to Egypt where he fights Egyptian gods after all most Greek mythology came from Egypt.

Or it will be a new character? Kratos daughter? In search as to why Kratos killed them?

Well it will be interesting to see what the story will be about.

Kratos is dead, and with his revenge achieved I can't see him having any interest in fighting his way out of death for the millionth time. The fact he killed himself the last time it seems pretty solid that "Yeah, I'm done. Time to rot in the afterlife with my dead family."

Well someone gave a great idea on what the next God of war should be.
You know how Kratos have been killed a lot of times but he was brought back to life for revenge? Now what's stopping other gods kratos has killed from coming back from death and seeking revenge on Kratos? Now imagine especially Ares comes back to life, stronger and starts seeking revenge against kratos, this time around kratos will be the one running. This is the guy idea.

The game objective will be to run away from the revived gods and get to a place they can't find you but on your journey you get attacked by a god who found you and after each fight/encounter with a god you lose a significant level of your power making you weaker and weaker. The objective part is my idea.

That's… the same fucking thing as God of War III, just a different context. It would still be Kratos going from point A to point B fighting the Gods as you go along. Only difference would be it'd be lame as it is a retread (as I just explained) and that it would betray Kratos' character who would never run from anything. He is a Spartan.

Amy Henning flat out said in the unlockable behind the scenes videos on UC3 that they built the set pieces and then wrote a story around it, and you can fucking tell, like so hard. She even acknowledged that it might've not been the best thing to do in the video.

Well… he was in RE1. That was practically most of his role in that game.

So how hard is this game suppose to be? I first heard that they're targeting a more casual audience, then I heard it's going to be as hard as Souls, then I heard it isn't going to be as hard as Souls but still pretty hard. None of these trailers and demos have helped. Heck, in the demo shown at the Playstation Experience they were getting hit all over the place but they were not dying or healing, there wasn't even a hud. I'm going to assume they were playing a dev-build that had God-mode turned on for presentation sake.

Suuuuure, that Street Fighter V will be on. They didn't say shit about Super Street Fighter V.

I'm confused, how can one be worn out on sequels when the sequels tell new stories, introduce new characters, and improve the gameplay? Yakuza 5 is way different from the previous games. It has 5 main characters (one of them being brand new and another being Haruka which is a completely different kind of character to play as) each with their own story that eventually lead into another (like Yakuza 4+1), 5 different cities to explore and play in, and more modern gameplay. Zero will definitely use the new gameplay, but I can't understand why you would rather play a prequel because you… don't want to play a sequel.

If they insist on making yet another Greek Mythology entry focusing on Kratos then I expect baby kratos in a diaper, because that is literally the only time of his life they have NOT covered to the point with the last entry (Ascension) they just awkwardly sandwiched it in right before GOW1 took place. The series has literally developed a shit ton of plotholes with each entry because of this.

New mythology. New character. And please please please, new gameplay.

I'm confused why they were throwing Suikoden 1 in with this annoucement like both titles were a big deal when… we've had the first one as a PS1 classic for years. Heck, I got it back in like 2010/2011 for 3 bucks during a PSN sale.

They didn't announce 0, but hopefully this means the series is making a come back. Sucks that we're not getting a physical release tho, just PSN.

Welp, expect fakes to crop up on auction soon as I imagine this is easy to fake. All you gotta do is buy two Samus amiibos, take her left arm off, then the right arm off another, and glue it on. Welp, looks like the 3DS is cracked. Homebrew community is set to release a hack, all you'll need is a copy of Cubic Ninja. The game was super cheap, down to 5 bucks all over, but is now selling out and skyrocketing in price online. The community behind the hack is taking a firm "no piracy" stance but, c'mon… give people a tool and they will exploit it.

Hopefully this doesn't lead to publishers not localizing games anymore like they did with the PSP...

I think inFAMOUS: Second Son is worth the price of admission alone for PS4, then you got several high-quality exclusives coming out in 2015.

Options:

A. Use the Magic Selection tool, then go to Select -> Modify -> Expand by 1 to 5 Px depending on our resolution, this will make it so when you fill the color goes past into the outline defeating the Halo.

B. Draw line art with Pencil Tool instead of Paint Brush, this removes Anti Aliasing to your lines so when you fill in your colors it will two tone, preventing any halo effect.

C. Turn up the tolerance on your pain bucket.

One thing that did catch my eye

I had a feeling this was possible. For example some games allow you direct access to save files in-game and allows you to overwrite and delete them. I mean you can revoke access at any time, but you gotta watch and be quick if you notice anyone trying it. Eitherway, as long as you promise not to do that, I don't mind letting my fellow APers play some of my PS4 games they might not have.

Man, story of my life. I've been trying to live stream for 4 years and it just hasn't really taken off… I don't want to play games without live-streaming yet live-streaming breaks my immersion and depresses me because no one is watching LOL.

Also, I came across your Kirby drawing tutorial the other day really randomly on YouTube and it helped me quite a bit! I now draw in high resolution and use the paint-bucket tool to fill in my solids. Has literally turned my slow 10 hour a pic process down into half of that or less. I still am having issues with the paint-bucket tho as it leaves a halo effect around the lineart. You addressed that in the video but I can't figure out how to stop it from happening. Eitherway, thanks a bunch for that and if you need any help setting up live streaming I'll be more than happy to assist. You're lucky to be getting into it now that it has been simplified, it was a nightmare a few years ago. Literally days upon days of setting tweaking and test streaming lol.

I'm strictly talking locked 30fps. Very minor and quick drops may happen, but for the most part I don't notice issues on the majority of games. Sadly, there are games that cannot keep it solid for whatever reason. I'm dreading my playthrough of Dragon's Dogma.

I still stand strongly by the notion of 30fps being a perfect framerate. Visuals are not worth sacrificing to get it above that.

No discussion here? I finally worked up the courage (to play on casual lol) to play it tonight and IT'S GOOD! It's not the magic of RE4, but it's still damn good.
