@DarthAsthma:
Have to say the way people talked here about this made me very interested about it but to me kickstarter is first and foremost about trust even before the product that is pitched itself.
I just can't give money to people I don't trust at all and in this case the history of the people behind this doesn't make it very easy to build that trust.
In the grand scope of things, I'm not really freaked out about the possibility of losing 20 dollars (the lowest tier to get the game), or even 100 dollars. It's more a matter of principle.
@Cyber-Robin:
Apparently Nintendo have re-registered the Trademark for Eternal Darkness.
Wonder if we might see a HD remake of the first. Or that they are planning on doing an actual Sequel for it.
Or just means nothing. Considering some of Nintendo's actions lately and the amount of reliance SotE is having on Eternal Darkness wouldn't be surprised if there was some sort of conflict
Or they're just going to release it digitally or something. Non-remastered. I mean the original game already did 16:9. Who knows. They are trying to be all different in this new campaign and "learn from the mistakes" of the last one but they are doing a terrible job still info-wise.
3668 backers, $153,130 pledged. Average: 41.75 (rounded up). At that average they will need 17,964 backers to fund.
