Oda should just release a long chain of chapters like 3 chapters per week. And continue while he rests. he can just have his assistant post them. I am sure he has a stash of chapters just sitting there waiting to be posted online. Besides one piece will continue even after 10 years from now.

RE: Theories That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread v.2
I'm pretty sure Law would be able to reattach his own hands if it came to it.
He was able to give Brownbeard new legs, after injuries suffered when Law was nowhere near, so I wouldn't rule it out.
The question is, can he create a Room without doing the hand seals?
His legs were still attached then. Hawkins just made them become useless. I think Law's ability is more of a puzzle user. He can remove things, put things somewhere else, but they all have to be inside of his ability. He also seem to raise his hands and fingers when activating his ability, I think its over for him if he lost his hands.
-
RE: Theories That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread v.2
So I was talking to my brother about the latest chapter and he came up with an interesting theory so I thought I'd share it:
Basically we know Law has seastone handcuffs on right now and they don't know where the key is. So my brother's theory is that Law might get his hands cut off on purpose somehow and then once the cuffs are off he'll reattach them using his DF powers. There's precedent even this arc for people purposely severing limbs to escape seastone shackles with Kyros doing it earlier, and Law's power probably would be capable of that kind of feat.
If you have any thoughts on this theory feel free to share them. My brother actually asked me to see what people online thought about the idea so it'd be nice to hear some feedback
I don't think Law could reattach himself like that. The only way for him to reattach things if it was cut off during his ability room. Othewise he would bleed and cry if it was just literally cut off.

RE: One Piece Chapter 747: Executive Officer Pica
Isn't it oobviuos? The country ships disguise themselvs as pirate ships to get to Dressrosa and buy weapons. and the revolutionary army is trying to stop the wars, hence trying to stop the weapon delivery and production. They found out that the weapons aren't produced on Dressrosa (that's Kaido's factory) so now they know.
@zeff:
It was clearly explained why the revolutionaries are there in dressrosa
re-read it http://www.batoto.net/read/_/240126/one-piece_ch744_by_powermanga/14So Kaido will have no more use for Doflamingo if he ceases to produce more smiles and that means no more weapons. I think the plan was to weaken the other nations across the new world while powering his army and then take it all with ease. Simply put, Kaido is more crazy than Doflamingo. But why kill off Doflamingo? I think its because if he stays alive he may end up making business with another emperor.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 747: Executive Officer Pica
I wonder what the revolutionary is doing on Dressrosa. I am sure its more than just to grab the mera mera no mi. I think that was just a bonus that Sabo wanted to do. They seem to be investigating the truth about Dressrosa and Doflamingo. It seems that Koala found something on a ship and it appears to be a trade of some sort with another country. I think Doflamingo is plotting something huge and people are ruining his plans. It has got to be stressful on Doflamingo to have Law, the SHs, Fujitora and the navy, Revolutionaries, and a bunch of other fodders trying to dethrone Doflamingo.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 747: Executive Officer Pica
I always thought Rob was a good guy. What a bastard.
He's like the world government and you were lead to believe and worship the world government and hate other people who are deemed as pirates.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 747: Executive Officer Pica
@Joy:
Whitebeard had a force of 1,500 pirates plus his allies. Also don't forget that his strongest commanders are easily above the Vice Admirals who are considered the second strongest when it comes to ranks in the marines. That's how fucking strong WB's crew was,yet the Admirals were completely fine after the end of the war even though they had to deal with all those beasts.
Also did you read the chapter where Law explains how the new World works? It isn't easy to approach a Yonko so why the hell should the Admirals do that?
Doesn't matter, we are taking in only the major battles and their conditions. You are saying that Whitebeard, who tied with Gol D Roger in a fight, is actually equal to that level of a admiral? Now whitebeard was old too, yet he kicked a healthy Akainu's ass and sunk him into the battlefield. and Akainu is stronger than Akoji.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 747: Executive Officer Pica
Even if they weren't the ones to kill him, the admirals were still shown to be fighting on the same level as Whitebeard.
They got the better of their commander opponents.
Lol at you writing off Isshou's gravity power after seeing 2 half-assed instances of it.
Yonkous are stronger than admirals. No admirals won't drop like fodders, but they would lose 10/10 times. Doflamingo wasn't afraid of admirals, but he was scared of Kaido. Whitebeard was old and sick, he didn't even lose a fight in the war, he died because of all the damage he has taken and his illness finally kicked in. No one defeated him. Akainu lost when the odds were in his favor, Akoji and Kizaru were kept busy by the top commanders. It may be even possible that current whitebeard may have been the weakest yonkou, but prime whitebeard was absolutely more powerful than anyone other than Gol D Rogers.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 747: Executive Officer Pica
That's because Admirals are endgame opponents. They will be there when the inevitable war for One Piece or whatever begins.
So it only makes sense to have them be the strongest of the strong.
Admirals aren't the strongest people. If they were then the Emperors would already be long defeated. Whitebeard and his crew were heavily outnumbered, outgunned, they were surrounded, and the full force of the navy military and shichibukai was there and they almost manage to win. I would say 1 Emperor + commanders = 3 admiral + fleet admiral + 5 or more shichibukai. If whitebeard was 20 years younger, then the navy would have lost.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 747: Executive Officer Pica
There has not been any one as more insane as Doflamingo. Not even Akainu, Blackbeard, or any other badass villain out there. He actually enjoys watching other people suffer and I think there is a special reason for it. It all started back when he was a toddler, his mom was killed by a world noble and his father was a very respected world noble so he didn't go against their will. Soon DD killed his father 2 years later for allowing the death of his mom and this caused him to turn to piracy and leave his world noble title behind. His father probably was a very high tier world noble and that's why DD was given special privileges and knows secrets that only he and his dad knows. That's why the WG has a agreement with DD.
Their family is probably the only one that knows how to operate the weapon which I would get into in just a moment. That's why the world government can't afford to lose DD. The world government would do anything to have DD not progress into this further. Dressrosa use to be governed by the DD family, but that WG worshiper King Riku and previous rulers establish and brainwashed all the civilians to think the WG is the good guys. Dressrosa is one of the 20 kingdoms that were involved in the ancient kingdom in the void century.
And what was so unique about the void century? the weapons! DDs family line were the ones to operate Pluton and it was passed down from generations! That is the secret the WG is so afraid of DD and even made CP0 help DD out. Recall when he threaten them by saying "I can leave and become a pirate again anytime I want". And DD intends to awaken it by using Kaido, after all with such a weapon you can become pirate king and that's his dream. And DD wanting to team up with Crocodile because Crocodile was interested in Pluton as well may be a factor to it. Maybe Crocodile actually knows where all the ponyglyphs are and DD knows how to read them. Locating it and operating it. perfect teamwork. Why couldn't the WG just kill off DD before he finds it? well I think its because DD lied saying he already has it.

RE: One Piece Chapter 746: Stars
I never said he did. Just because Doflamingo didn't think he was in imminent danger of death, at that point. Once it became clear that Kuzan was serious and would wreck his shit, he did an immediate 180 from "trying to kill Smoker" to, well… my next point.
Except that never happened. What Doflamingo said was "I don't much feel like fighting you. But if I'm unable to silence that man here and now… I'll have to change my plans!"
And as I pointed out previously, Doflamingo was trying to kill Smoker, not beat Kuzan. Kuzan is at a huge disadvantage trying to fight while protecting the beaten-and-half-dead Smoker, and all Doflamingo needed to do was kill Smoker, then get away via his 'sky road' ability.
Why wouldn't he? Kuzan froze him to save Smoker, but wasn't particularly trying to kill him. He didn't follow up on it at all, or even move. As long as Doflamingo wasn't trying to kill Smoker, he had nothing to fear from Kuzan, so why shouldn't he smirk and try to save some face in front of his subordinates?
Obviously he had his back on Kuzan, that is kuzan's advantage. It's not like you can fight with your back turned and is sitting down. Besides him turning 180 because kuzan's ice is faster than his arm to swing his strings doesn't mean he was scared. It just means that kuzan defense is greater than doula's attack. Not interested or not much feel like fighting you or no time is the same thing. the fight would drag on too long that's the end result. kuzan couldn't follow up on it because doflamingo broke out of the ice almost immediately, kuzan's attacks consist of long casting motions as seen when he needed leaves to make a sword or when he engaged whitebeard with tridents. the only thing he is good at is freezing stuff and abusing his logia ability. As seen more when he attack failed on whitebeared but his freezing ability was able to quickly freeze up all the water nearby. Yes I consider freezing stuff as a defensive ability. attacking abilities should be more deadly.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 746: Stars
is there a chapter this week? or is oda on break?
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 746: Stars
And in the only circumstance we've seen where he had obvious and immediate reason to fear death (that is, continuing to try to kill Smoker with Kuzan protecting him), he backed down immediately.
The next closest instance - the threat of Kaido coming after him - he went to a lot of effort to fool Law to make him think he'd agreed, and his crew commented on the look on his face when Law pointed out that he should be the one who is afraid (of Kaido).
But no, obviously, Doflamingo is fearless, even in the face of death, which is obviously a CoC thing, even though we've been told repeatedly that's a D. thing.
He didn't back down immediately, Kuzan is strong, no doubt, but first Doflamingo disobeyed and went ahead and attempted to kill smoker when kuzan told him to get off. Doflamingo underestimated the speed of his ice ability, but he backed down when he knew fighting kuzan may actually take a lot of time. That's why he said "I don't have time to fight you." This indicates that if they did clash it may last too long and Doflamingo's plan is ruined by then. He then walks right next to kuzan and past him with a smirk and kuzan has that serious face on. Kuzan then goes and say something about how doflamingo can become the next worse thing since sakazuki took fleet admiral position. we also have to take into account that there are an incredible amount of people going after doflamingo. Caesar about to be taken by big mom's nakamas, kaido possibly going after him, the alliance and revolutionary ruining his plans, admiral fujitora trying to dethrown doflamingo, and the whole island that now has their memory restored. All these things are shifted towards Doflamingo alone. Doflamingo's ambition to take care of these matters is stronger than Luffy's ambition to defeat Doflamingo and liberate the island.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 746: Stars
@Gia:
Lol the fact that Dofla is sweating like mad is what leads me to believe that he is scared of him, not what law is saying.
I think because Law is ruining his business deal with Kaido. Kaido gives him weapons to sell to other nations for money? I think its more than just money. Monet also said one day Doflamingo will become Pirate King. What if Doflamingo is just using Kaido so he can build perhaps Uranus or a way to enter Raftel?
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 746: Stars
That doesn't mean Luffy couldn't have taken him down one on one. Don't see why there are still people who think Moria was stronger. Did you read some other version of that volume or something? Luffy was above him in almost every way.
Lol at entire SH fleet. All 9 people!
no I think you read the wrong version. Moriah just sat and chill there and let his shadow fight Luffy and Luffy was losing against the shadow. Luffy then goes to suck up 1,000 powerful shadows meanwhile Moriah fought the entire crew. Luffy then started dominating but once the shadow gave out, his whole crew once again was able to defeat Oz and Moriah. Oz is part of Moriah's ability so that makes it 1 vs 9. After Moriah is heavily injured he goes up to suck up a bunch of shadows to stall time for morning to kill the SHs, but everyone believed in Luffy that he could defeat Moriah within the time limit. But this goes back about ganging up Doflamingo. If it was 3v1, and Doflamingo loses. People would start saying Luffy is stronger than Doflamingo the same way with Moriah. But yes, 2 year post timeskip Luffy is stronger than 2 year pre skip Moriah.

RE: One Piece Chapter 746: Stars
Luffy was there when Riku said "As long as Pica is there, we won't be able to reach Doula Mongo". He also confronted Gladius.
You don't have to be a genius to figure that it's better to bring somebody to help against a guy that can change an entire landscape and is bodyguarding the main villain.
Luffy may be a genius in combat but his lack of memory isn't really great. For example when Franky told Luffy not to use his real name and what did Luffy do?
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 746: Stars
Again, Law and Zoro are there because Doula is not the only person in the palace.
There's also Pica, Gladius, Baby 5 and a bunch of fodder there too. What makes you think that Luffy is bringing those guys along because he can't beat Doula?
And really don't understand the Alabasta logic you used. Everybody wins at Alabasta = Luffy loses in Dressrosa?
I guess Mr. 3 was above the likes of Mr. 1 and Ms. Doublefinger considering he was able to almost kill Zoro and Nami along with Vivi and a Giant.
Enough evidence of what?
Now a punch to the face suddenly means something?
Hell, did you actually forget Luffy was actually able to see Doula's beheading kick and react fast enough to save Kyros? Shouldn't that be evidence that Luffy indeed can dodge Doula Mongo?
So now Luffy is suddenly genius to actually know who is all in there and calculated that bringing Zoro and Law was enough? ok. Luffy handled the situation there perfectly against Doflamingo, but Doflamingo had a clone if anything doflamingo can make more clones thus giving Luffy a harder time if one extra clone was already enough to make a fool out of him.
I remember Luffy pounding on him with his combined gears while he was in his strongest form.
Couldn't even beat Gecko one on one…
Wrong memory, the entire SH fleet took on Moriah and when Moriah was on the brink of losing then Luffy started going one on one when Moriah couldn't even move anymore but stall time. Don't forget the help of 1,000 shadows.
@D:
You have shit as evidence. You saw him just take a punch and u judge his fate. You didn't even know what luffys power is after the time-skip. Or u think he went all out vs Hoddy?
And we don't know Doflamingo's all out potential. If you think Luffy was to lose so the story would continue into a final clash, that is dead wrong. Luffy wouldn't go easy on a opponent that defeated Law and one of his top tier fighter Sanji with little to no effort.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 746: Stars
That doesn't stop then for being strong at the time just because they don't have a fancy tittle.
Mister personality (Lucci) gave Luffy the biggest physical fight he ever had.
Hell fucking Foxy thanks to his fruit was about to defeat the same Luffy who previously defeated Crocodile and Enel.
When will you people learn that for the most part one piece doesn't go with power levels.Foxy clearly had it all planned and set up if you even watched the arc. Crocodile lost because Luffy had water/blood advantage. Rubber beats lightning, advantage again. Lucci vs Luffy was the only true battle Luffy won equally. Heck he couldn't even beat Gecko Moriah one on one. If anything, rubber can be cut, doflamingo advantage. Seeing Luffy unable to intercept Doflamingo's attack, I think this is enough evidence.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 746: Stars
I said crocodile because he was the first one to pop out of my head but if you want this game.
Did Luffy ever needed help to defeat( in the fighting department) against Arlong, Enel, Lucci, Krieg and so for it.
Why all of the sudden Doflamingo is needed team work to beat after they just got out of a two year timeskip without even showing all the fruits of said training.because they aren't shichibukais. Doflamingo is obviously one of the two top shichibukai along with Mihawk. Crocodile was dead last. This is the new world. 2 years of haki training alone isn't going to cut it. He needs a new ability. Not abilities like Thors hammer or Bell.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 746: Stars
Soo, How many Luffys we need to defeat Doula?
people say one because of their comparison with crocodile. but it's going to be luffy, law and zoro vs doflamingo. it doesn't matter if its a embarrassment if luffy can't beat doula one on one. this is a desperate situation to save the country, not a battle of pride. Also a lot of the SH lost their fight in dressrosa and only won against comedic ways like Jora and Sugar, they won all in alabasta. This almost indicates that Luffy is bound to lose.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 746: Stars
No, he won't. That would downplay Luffy's 2-year training.
Luffy not worthy of defeating Doula? He's the freaking protagonist.
If Oda wants Luffy to win against Doula, then he will, just like Crocodile, who at the time also looked invincible.
crocodile and doflamingo have very different natures. crocodile didn't care about this no named pirate that dreams of becoming pirate king one day just like every noobie pirate out there. Doflamingo on the other hand knows Luffy pretty well. He even said "He may even be a higher caliber than Law, he knows CoC." He doesn't seem to underestimate his enemies yet at the same time Doflamingo isn't afraid to go up against everyone he has met so far, even the admiral level people. He's just that much stronger, rather he thinks of them as just annoying pests for ruining his plans.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 746: Stars
I agree when it comes to people saying that Luffy has no chance against Mingo when we didnt seen anything close to Luffys full potential.
Yet I would be most satisfied if Luffy would be shown as equal to Doflamingo, with each of them getting heavily beaten up(equally) and with Fujitora comming in and KOing only Doflamingo.
I mean I know that Luffy has that incredible willpower to achieve impossible etc but let us have it when he Fights one of Yonko in team with somebody and now having EQUAL fight with Doflamingo would feel fresh for me.Luffy clearly saw how Doflamingo tortured Law as a toy. Doflamingo is not a pushover. During the moment of their first clash Luffy probably had to react quickly to his gatling gun and didn't have time to go into armament mode. If there was a time phrase it would be Luffy's gatling gun = Doflamingo's armament. If Luffy went armament as well that means Doflamingo can already attack. I think Luffy handled the situation perfectly there but he was unaware of the 2nd clone. Saying "Gomu gomu noooooooooo" already takes a huge amount of time. Although it may be trivial if even saying your own attacks affect the opponent's time to respond.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 746: Stars
@Flipper:
I've kinda called with my friends that if Doflamingo is going to be taken down your gonna need Zoro and Luffy.
One to get rid of the freezing ability until one learns how to avoid it.
Luffy with his current arsenal will get nowhere. As Majoras review said, he has no chance against DD.
Luffy has to have some sort of new gear or something that will allow him to be on par with Doflamingo.
I believe that if Doflamingo is to go down Oda will have some random ass power up at this time.Kinda like when gear 2nd came out. Luffy might unleash it on a Blueno v2 and then go on par with DD. Otherwise no way.
yeah it'll suck if the only thing Luffy learned after those 2 years was haki meanwhile other people already know up to armament haki by just adventuring and king's conqueror doesn't seem to be used against strong opponents. I always wonder why he calls his gears as second and third. Hopefully he knows a gear four. Also maybe the reason Luffy is bringing Zoro and Law is because Luffy himself knows he can't win alone.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 746: Stars
They actualy would be more at a dissavantage if they gang up on him. Even if Parasito only manages to slow them down, Law could get an accidental Gattling to the face if he's slowed midway the fight.
I see it as Luffy is about to get split into athousand pieces than Law uses room so Luffy is still alive. That type of combo and teamwork. Then zoro charges in and doflamingo dodges into the air and Law appears above and Doflamingo desperately dodges again and Luffy comes right into the perfect spot and land a perfectly good armament haki pistol.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 746: Stars
a 3v1 huh? maybe a 2v1 if zoro gets stopped by pica. this sounds like a even match because we all know luffy and law can't beat doflamingo one on one.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 745: Birdcage
@Flipper:
Yup. I've created match-ups in Official Dressrosa Thread. Also in my current sig
! Although i would love to see Sabo vs Fujitora for whatever reason, but that's my fanboy self.
I think sabo vs diamante, they are both martial artist experts.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 745: Birdcage
Brook appeared after 10 years and 400 chapters. I can not consider his a main character. The same applies to robin, Franky etc
and even today people are still quarreling over Usopp's progression much more than Franky and his overpowered radical beams. Same with Zoro and his comparisons to Mihawk and other swordsmens like the guy in Blackbeard's crew and Eutess Kid's crew. People hardly ever talk about Robin's archealogy skills or Chopper's top rate medicine techniques. I don't even think Brook has done anything progressive yet in this arc except for one slide that he was able to freeze Jora.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 745: Birdcage
Oda is doing brilliantly in how he organizes characters and the developement of a plot. I never had the impression any of the Strawhats was replaceable - even Brook had a really important part on FI. So what do you intend with your quite random categorization? I'm even sure that in Dressrosa Franky had until now more panels than Zoro. Too busy to count them. And when talking about importance, please don't forget the Thousand Sunny, the medical support or the void century - all those clearly show, that without your so called filler charecters the story would be absolutely different…
No they will not be replaced and they are important. I just find it special and unique that Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp and Sanji actually made a pact together in East Blue. These 5 characters were also introduced very very early in One Piece and spent a lot of time knowing each other. Then comes a long phase in between until they finally started a mass recruitment with huge long arc per new recruit until they got separated in saboady archipelago (or however you spell it).
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 745: Birdcage
Filler characters?!?!?!
Don't forget the importance they have for the history and how they have saved many dangerous situations. Also be sure that Robin at the end is gonna fight with a strongest opponent that Ussop's (or even Franky).
of course they are important. But they don't get as much screen time. Robin always seems to be doing her own thing and wandering off to find artifacts. Franky is always guarding the thousand sunny, so the rest of the crew is out adventuring. Chopper doesn't do much and always hiding even more than Usopp, and Brooks just makes jokes. That's why there is a significantly huge difference in the amount of threads with this half. They just aren't as unique. Although Nami also gets less threads than Luffy, Zoro, Sanji and Usopp, I believe she belongs in the main core category.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 745: Birdcage
@The:
Obviously if the new 3 Admirals follow that pattern, we have a Logia and a 99% Paramecia so maybe Oda wants to make the 3rd one Zoan but that's my POV
And we most Zoan's until now are mid tier except some like Lucci, X Drake, Marco, Sengoku and maybe Jabra so why not a Powerfull one that can be an Admiral levelBesides Sengoku was Fleet Admiral and he is Zoan after all
mythical zoan a to be precise which is even more rare than the logia. Marco and sengoku were mythical zoans. These are creatures that don't actually exist.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 745: Birdcage
It's likely that Usopp's out right now, as is Sanji so that example doesn't really work. If we're being technical, Zoro fought Ryuuma who was a General Zombie, Chopper was the one who fought Hogback but Oars was the one who "defeated" him and Nami finished off Absalom.
because Ryuuma and Zoro both use swords to fight, so Fujitora and Zoro would be a likely match in the future. Doctor Hogback was Chopper's idol, Sanji fought Absalom 99% of the time so he was technically his opponent. How I determined the uknown admiral would be up against Usopp is because they belong to the real make up of the SH pirates. The originals are Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp and Sanji. The story also seems to center around these 5 indivisuals more often than the others. Chopper, Robin, Franky and Brook almost seem like side characters to fill up the core group.
-
RE: Will Shanks die?
@Flipper:
I understand what you have written here but shanks isn't at rogers level. Even if Luffy were able to beat him. He would have to reach that one step further.
blackbeard is definitely going to be the one Luffy has to beat to become pirate king. But Luffy can't beat blackbeard if he can't get past Shanks. Shanks want Luffy to become the pirate king but he isn't going to let him waltz through. You can say Shanks is the key to the door, and waiting behind that door is blackbeard and behind blackbeard is the king's throne. Tha's why luffy has to beat Shanks if he even has the slightest chance to fight blackbeard, because if he were to lose he would have to go back and train.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 745: Birdcage
Usopp?Really? Not a chance.
There always seems to be 3 strong enemy subordinates and their 1 boss and Usopp takes on one of the subordinants like in arlong park and perona in thriller bark. There is also several other arcs, but our current day dressrosa, it almost seems as if Trebol a sniper will be fighting Usopp again.
-
RE: Will Shanks die?
Shanks isn't going to die. He may not even fight blackbeard. He is probably waiting for the right man to beat blackbeard and that is Luffy. But first he is going to test Luffy if he has what it takes to become pirate king. I think this because Shanks didn't want anyone including Ace to fight blackbeard, but whitebeard didn't listen to shanks and would allow his sons to do whatever they want because he trusts them. And Luffy said he is going to take down all 4 emperors. So Shanks vs Luffy is already set in plan. It'd be dumb if Luffy finds out Shanks went ahead to fight Blackbeard and died. This would just be another Ace vs Blackbeard fight but with the death part. Oda doesn't repeat the same storyline twice. I can already imagine what would happen during their meeting, it'd be Shanks like "hi luffy, come drink wit me". They chat and blah blah about their adventures and then Shanks brings up that they should fight. Now about the strawhat, it will probably be the trophy from whoever wins that duel. Luffy wins and gives it to his cabin boy and then that cabin boy gives it to the next generation.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 745: Birdcage
maybe he is just a normal swordsman that wields a sword that ate a devil fruit. He is probably the admiral that zoro will be fighting one day. Luffy is with Akainu and possibly Sanji is with Kizaru. The next uknown admiral would probably be up against Usopp.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 745: Birdcage
it would also need to rerad fujitora's mind though, since he never speaks to the sword, yet he always obtain the result he wants
maybe it is reading through the minds. You don't see basketball players say "run up and i'll throw this ball to you for an alley oop" they communicate through sheer trust.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 745: Birdcage
Who said that? Just probably the object wouldn't be able to activate it's power. I wish Vegapunk will come allready and explain how they feed the DF to objects.
And yea, the weapon theory will probably crumble as soon as Fuji explains his powers. Which I hope will happen soon, maybe when he help destroy the birdcage.
he manipulates gravity.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 745: Birdcage
It would make sense if few of them would not have any DF power yet I think that Oda might have plan to make Mingos crew entirely DF users, of course I can be wrong.
Lao G seems to be bit weirdly strong for his age with his legs shaking
! http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140129130046/onepiece/images/5/52/Lao_G_Manga_Infobox.png he is hinted to be around Gladius in therms of power. Given that he barely sees, his legs are shaking etc I say his ranking would surely make more sense with some Devil Fruit power. Those arrows on him somehow remind me of electricity-related drawings. Bottom one looks like simple arrow and upper one looks like its made out of two lightenings.
One hand can be open circuit and one can be closed circuit.G symbol in electricity is conductance, measured in siemens by wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Admittance http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siemens_(unit)
So who knows if its not G for generator or something related to conduction of power. We seen almost nothing and I do expect him to have some Devil Fruit but with hints that we were given till now its close to impossible even to try and guess what kind of power Lao G has if he has one.
maybe everything he touches explodes? and everything on other hand he touches restores anyone's health back to 100%.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 745: Birdcage
I mean I like Dellinger too but all we've seen him do is beat up a broken shell of a Bellamy because DD told him too and participate in Franky's gangbang
Those aren't astounding "guts and determination" featsI was referring to when he wasn't going to give up breaking that barrier of Barto. You only remember the bad things about him!
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 745: Birdcage
Dellinger ate the " tranny tranny no mi" df.
Dellinger looks really cool. I think he would make a good main character in a different manga universe. He certainly has the guts and determination that of a protagonist.

RE: One Piece Chapter 745: Birdcage
Doflamingo looks too strong for luffy same way Crocodile looked too strong for luffy but he defeated him in the end. And DD almost killed admiral? Maybe with a overdose of ramen, cause his kick did nothing on him.
Exactly, if Doflamingo were to lose in this arc. It would just be a reboot of Alasbasta arc with the tie to Kaido. Oda doesn't pull the same storyline twice. They are very very different.
he was just trying to save face
dude knows he stands no chance against current shanks
Nah, 2 arms is definately better than 1.

RE: One Piece Chapter 745: Birdcage
All wrong. Doflamingo is not going down. He is just too strong for Luffy right now. He got Luffy off-balance which we don't see very often and landed a perfectly good armament punch. Did you see Luffy's face concaved? If anything, Doflamingo could kill Luffy right there but there are more important matters to tend to immediately and that's to stop civilians from escaping. Doflamingo even challenged everyone if they can reach him to a fight, he is that confident to win. Fujitora has nothing on Doflamingo! Even Doflamingo was about to kill Fujitora but Fujitora said "let's be friends for now" meaning he didn't want to die yet until his wish to kick Doflamingo off the shichibukai is fulfilled.
