Will Luffy be able to use Gear 5 too? He had gear 2 and 3 in one arc. It'll make sense if he had 4 and 5.
Gear 2 in chapter 387
Gear 4 in chapter 783

In the many many discussions there has been on this subject I believe the consensus in the end was that Doffy was somewhere in between a Vice Admiral and an Admiral, precisely how far above VA or below Admiral depends on the VA or Admiral in question.
It makes him the ideal opponent for Luffy and a great test of his growth from the timeskip.
While I don't queston Doffy's abilities he clearly wanted no part of Kuzan on Punk Hazard but he was able to break out of the ice which was no mean feat.
Yet in this arc I got the impression especially in the early part of the arc that Doffy felt he could deal with Fujitora himself should the need arise, I believe he said as much to his crewmate.
How true that is in actual practice is hard to know, Doffy does seem like the type of fighter who would not indicate that unless he really felt he could win, then again he is a nutcase.
So I don't think he is Admiral Level (sorry I know you all hate the term) but I would say he is about as close to it as we have seen fighter wise not including those who are already top pirate/revolutionary commanders or equivalent such as Marco, Enel or Sabo.
I think Fujitora is weaker than the other admirals. He couldn''t get past sabo and I'm going to assume sabo is stronger than Luffy. So Doflamingo was confident enough to take out Fujitora. Luffy must be equal or higher than Fujitora if he is to be on the same level as Doflamingo.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
A lot of people are convinced that Dofla is way too important to die. Do you guys really think he'll die by Luffys hands? That sounds pretty interesting honestly
Or at the end of the arc, Doflamingo is seen strayed away somewhere or went to someone for mercy, that I mean Kaido… then Kaido kills him. Or better yet X Drake takes out Doflamingo with ease since everyone has been saying he is working for Kaido now.
i thought there was going to be a break, what a nice surprise! nice chapter, everybody is on his way to a beating, still no trace of burgess!
nothing is going to happen in the next 15-20 chapters. It's just going to be more talking about "oh I hate you so much doflamingo" or "we need to find a way to get to point A to point B" type of deal. It's been like that for the past 30 chapters. Oda just has a clip or slide of like 20 different fights per chapter. It's getting annoying.
The fact that Luffy hasn't been take out by Doffy is proof that his 2 year training was worth it. Before the TS I very much doubt he'd last long against Doffy. I think some people on here are underestimating just how strong Doffy is I think this will be Luffy hardest one on one fight to date.
I don't even know if Luffy will fight Doflamingo. Even if Law lost and it was Luffy's turn, this still counts as a 2v1 since Law already injured Doflamingo and will continue to for a few chapters then Luffy will step in. Luffy is probably still getting pummeled by Doflamingo clone in the basement, but that's still his ability. Trebol on the other hand was totally useless. This is just going to be like the Gecko Moriah vs the entire SH crew + 100 shadow Luffy. Everyone claimed Luffy was stronger at that point. Because all people care about is Luffy vs main villain.
This arc started out AMAZING. Then we got a bunch of crap after the colosseum finished up. Too many separated fights. We havent gotten to see Law's crew or what is going on with Sanji. Apparently Luffy's training was for nothing, still getting owned by shichibukai and would have been killed if Law wasnt there. This arc feels like it was drug out way longer than it needed to be. What the hell is Sabo and the rest of them doing? The Admiral is just sitting on his ass and using his haki to watch events go down…............
We were introduced to CP-0, now they havent even been a factor. We got 2 weird ass samurai who seem to be similar in strength to east blue pirates................. We have a really shitty Zoro fight broken up over many chapters. Luffy and Sanji look like they got weaker from 2 years of training. Luffy wasnt even this weak during the war. Then there are these dwarves and their princess manshelly. Then we have a ton of side plots with Law and corazon, Diamante and whats his name.
WTF is this BS? Meanwhile, sanji (who has got the shit kicked out of him 2x was attacking Big Mom's ship and hasnt been mentioned in what feels like a year. How many things have to happen at the same time Oda? This arc is going to take 2-2.5 years to finish at this rate. We are getting less and less dialogue per month and more and more weaklings introduced to make things stall out. Now we have to watch coliseum fighters in their battles also. We havent even seen anything with Big MOM..... Meanwhile, Zoro has done nothing but toy with his opponents since the NW began.
This arc, without a doubt, went from having the potential to be the best arc and redeem Luffy and Sanji to being one of my least favorites just ahead of the sky island. Nothing is happening. I didnt mind the flashbacks, and I enjoyed them and kinda wish they had continued. Instead, now we are back to trying to watch 20 fights at the same time with 10 unresolved subplots.
1. East blue arc 2. Great war 3. Impel Down amazon lilly 4. Shabaody Archipelego 5. Ennies Lobby 6. Post Ennies Loby 7. Alabasta 8. Fishman Island 9. Dressrosa 10. Thriller Bark 11. Skypiea 12. Punk Hazzard
13. Post and pre Alibasta 14. Drum Island
I think that is some pretty fair rankings for arcs. The top 6 being amazing arcs and 7-14 seeming more and more drawn out and too long for their own good to just plain long and bad 12-14.
It is taking too long, oda should hurry up and focus on one fight, then move to the next. If he keeps showing only one slide per fight per chapter, people are going to forget what is going on in the earlier stages of the fights. People want to see a full battle, not a battle split up into multiple chapters. I'm glad the flashback is finally over, we already know what happened. Oda just decided to show it still but made it longer than what I had hoped for. Like the fights in Arlong arc, CP9 arc, Alabasta arc, and other popular ones Oda did not split them up. Especially with the constant breaks, it will takes several years to finish this arc and people are already saying one piece will end in less than 5 years.
When is One Piece 762 coming out? Naruto and Bleach already came out several hours ago.
It was the real Doula Mongo. Here's 3 reasons:
- Clones don't bleed, as seen by Kyros' decapitation and Abdullah and Jeet's attack.
- The kind of scratch Doula got could easily be cleaned in a matter of seconds with a tissue or something.
- Trébol expressed concern. Unlike Baby 5 and Buffalo, he is aware of the clone ability and would've had known. Oh, and Baby 5 and Buffalo are not "ALL" of Doula's underlings. Also, remember Pica, who wasn't surprised at all.
Your argument is based on the assumption that the Doula who fought Law at the bridge was clone, which would prove that clones can bleed. However, that's an assumption with no evidence backing it up.
Luffy truly hurt Doula Mongo. He's not that strong. Deal with it.
He's not that strong? Only reason Luffy was able to hit Doflamingo was because Doflamingo was just chilling there on his mighty chair and Law was in the way. If anything it was 2v1 with Doula not caring about his surroundings. And if I recall correctly Doula won their first two physical encounters. Meanwhile no other person in Dressrosa has even managed to injure Luffy yet.
@The:
I think there are a likely number of scenarios, and we won't know till the end. Though some of what you say would make it seem weird if he wanted Bellamy dead. If he's good at raiding and is popular among some people, why would you want to kill him? I would think Doflamingo would be smart enough to realize that even though he isn't the most successful member, he is still useful. This is why I think it would be Diamante and Dellinger who decided to do it. From the little bit of Dellinger we've seen, he seems like a guy who attacks people if they are weak. The only other theory that I have, which is out there, is that Doflamingo hoped Bellamy would be severely injured fighting Luffy and then when Bellamy was weak, he would be taken out so they could blame Luffy for his death, but there isn't really any reason to do that. I would love to see Bellamy take on Dellinger so he can get some payback, and when he see's Luffy take down Doflamingo, he no longer has any respect for him.
I think only the 3 executive officers are the people Doflamingo truly cares about. And then the three executives were allowed to choose members to be part of the family. So you can say that Doflamingo is like a grandpa to those lower members of the family so automatically he cares about them too. Bellamy wasn't accepted in the first place so he had to earn it somehow.
What we have seen of Doflamingo is that, in response to him trying to land a finishing blow on the guy he is literally on top of, Kuzan can freeze him from a (small, at least) distance without even taking his hands out of his pockets, before the blow lands.
Kuzan asked him to get off of Smoker and leave him alone. The marine G-5 fodder had a chance to react to Kuzan showing up. Then Doflamingo tries to finish off Smoker. He clearly knew Kuzan was there, and tried to launch a surprise attack against the helpless Smoker to finish him off, only to get frozen in place.
And? We have no reason to think Doflamingo has ever fought Kuzan; he might have overestimated himself (or underestimated Kuzan) until he got frozen. Alternatively, he might have planned to kill (the helpless and half-dead) Smoker and GTFO rather than fight Kuzan. Either way, when his attempt to finish off Smoker with a surprise attack failed miserably, he did an about-face pretty goddamned fast.
I believe the only reason Kuzan was able to freeze Doflamingo on time was 1) Doflamingo's attack was a sweep meaning the strings were behind his arm the whole time, so even if his arm passed smoker the string would still not reach and aokiji had already started slowly moving his ice attack. and 2) This is Akoji's territory, it is completely covered in snow which Aokiji apparently made during his battle with Akainu. So it looked like when Doflamingo looked back at Aokiji he was unsure if he would get the attack on time due to the pre-prepped environment advantage.
I think Doflamingo is too powerful of a man. I remember Akoji saying to Smoker "Doflamingo will be the most serious matter Akainu has ever faced since taking over HQ." That serious matter was implied to Aokiji and his 10 day fight with Akainu and saying Doflamingo will be even worse is a huge hint to Doflamingo's power. I also took in the fact that Doflmaingo said after this crisis is over, he is going to get rid of Fujitora implying to kill or hide forever. I just don't see Luffy taking down Doflamingo at this point.
Might as well start saying Luffy will turn bad and start killing random people too. Fujitora's character has been established as someone who cares for civilians and has his own brand of justice.
Fujitora reminds me of Garp. No matter how desperate they want to save someone, they are bound to their loyalty to the World Government. Garp had a chance to save Ace, but I think it had to do with the loyalty, or he wanted to prove to the world that D. can be good guys too. If anything, Ace was more of a grandson to Garp than Luffy was. So that just goes to say that being a navy officer means they have to sacrifice lives they care about.
Trebol and Diamante are the other big guns in the Dofla Family. But we don't know much about any weaknesses in their fighting styles or DF.
I would like to see Kanjuro fight Trebol, trebol might be holding his friend hostage. He seems to be interested in the samurais thus ordered that fat art lady to capture momo. Trebol said his ability was flammable and Kanjuro has a flamed sword. And Trebol is covered in his slime. But Kanjuro doesn't seem like the person to be able to take on a executive. Maybe during his fight he gets exhausted and somehow freed his friend and they both tag-team with an all mighty flame attack.
It kelly and bobby punk but anyway they did help luffy get to short cut 1v1 with DD :D
what is strange is that Luffy is usually the person to chase the antagonist. Yes, Luffy did do that with Doflamingo, but now Doflamingo is on the chase. I know this probably doesn't change anything, but its like Doflamingo wants to fight Luffy. The other antagonist has defeated Luffy and ran off to do their own thing. This may be a change of upcoming events soon.
I thought that too, at first. It's not that I think Admirals are so
See it's hard to talk about relative power even in One Piece. Even amongst the admirals themselves. Akainu is clearly stronger than Aokiji, since he won their PH duel. But is that just due to devil fruit superiority, or is Akainu really stronger than Aokiji? If Fujitora or Akainu or Kizaru were to have 1 on 1 matches with each other, who would win? It's kind of hard to say, in my opinion.
Akainu is stronger than fujitora and kizaru. Fujitora just recently became an admiral. Kizaru never gets angry or appear to have any motivation to fight at full power. Akoji had that motivation and still lost. But even if he was, he seems to not have any unique fighting skills but spam rays of light and a light sword.
That sinister aura at the end when Doflamingo arrives… can't wait for this fight to happen!! This fight should be much better than the sabo and fujitora fight. I am already sick of seeing fujitora do the same moves over and over. "METEORRR GOOO"
Can't wait for doflamingo vs luffy round 2!
Sabo vs Fuji is guaranteed to be skipped and interrupted.
I hope its not. I would like a share and tell of what they are capable of. It may just be one of those many side fights we get before we get to the main event with Luffy vs Doflamingo. Sort of like the CP9 vs SH crew fight.
First Post I think Franky holding back dofflamingo's executives on both accounts was a show of his and the Shoguns strength. It's proof that as the 4th strongest in the SH crew It takes more than 1 of mingo's guys to put him down.
For now. But Usopp is going to be the strongest in the series in the end. His goal is of much a higher caliber than a pirate king or greatest swordsman titles.
Well if they stood on a few rocks and Issho used his gravity powers he could float them inside the ring of fire
I don't think there is going to be a winner with fujitora vs sabo. They are just there for show and tell their true abilities.
@Piccolo:
That makes me wonder. Ivankov was a top commander as well right? But there seems to a massive gap in terms of strength between him and Sabo(only going on what we saw of Ivankov during Marineford). Wonder how strong Dragon is
Sabo copied his moves from Dragon. Sabo seems so confident in the coliseum and going up against an admiral. I am going to say Sabo is a 22 year old version of Dragon. There has also been hints that Dragon has the weather fruit the same Roger had and when Roger fought Shiki the narrarator said there was a sudden and random storm that allow roger to win.
I fail to see the problem here. The earlier starts the fight, the better.
it does seem like doflamingo is cornered by 99% of dressrosa current population as well as top tier fighters from the coliseum. His 2000 fodder soldiers are not going to do anything major but get beat up. Fujitora and his army may seem like they are in his side but fujitora true intentions want to defeat doflamingo as well. All doflamingo has is his 10 or something family members. So if we got rid of the fodders from both side it will be sort of like 100 vs 10.
Well you are most probably wrong. Marco was strongest person after Whitebeard in WB pirates, I dont think that Pekoms would have a chance(his bounty is 330mln, doesnt seem like he really is big fish compared to Marco).
As for Tamago - we dont know where he stands in BM pirates.
Also Sanji should be on par with Yonko Commanders by now, maybe not strongest ones but not weakest ones either. Luffy and Zoro surely are there in my opinion, so Sanji cant be really far behind. Its highly unlikely that Sanji will loose while sailing to Zou, for me he will be shown beating one of Big Moms underlings. Zoro and Luffy probably will shine in fights very soon, it would be really weird if Sanji would not get proper show off with great result.
330 is really high. And I think they were both above 300 million. I'm going to assume and say the kid pirate bounties are constantly higher than the SH by a hair. Kid is above luffy. Kid's Swordsman is above zoro who is only at 250 ish? Sanji would be next in line because it always seem like Sanji is always behind zoro in bounties.
A yonkou commander is capable of standing their ground against an admiral. Sanji got one hit by doflamingo who is supposedly lower than an admiral. Even if Pekoms and tamago are not top tier commanders, seeing as big mom trusts them so much to do important tasks. The arc may subside from chasing kaido into chasing big mom and law leaves to Zou.
@Farsighted:
With the Sanji and the rest of Strawhats and C.C. the fight can go in different directions. It's a possibility that Sanji could get worfed by Big Mom's ship as an example that the Yonkou isn't someone to be trifled with easily. I do hope that We get to see that Sanji and Co kicking some ass instead of off panel ass kicking.
Sanji is going to lose. If yonkou all had commanders it would be those two stoogers from fish men island. They may possibly be division commanders seeing as they are leading many giant ships and are in front. It's like putting MArco the Phoenix against Sanji. Or diamond jozu
But she can put the blame of them if she wants. A Shicki is fcking with 'em. Shickis are WG's dogs. They do nasty things, and WG knows it. Plus, now the WG is taking action against them when they know for fact the truth (of Doffy being and ass).
Actually, Viola and Fujitora are doing the exact same diagnosis. The problem is the Schikis system, and both of them blame the WG. The difference relays on the conclusions: Viola wants to stop it right now for the local and personal peace, and having lost faith in WG, why not believe in a smiling pirate?; while Fuji wants the local situation to go on, let Doffy bring chaos now, in order to build up evidence/arguments to destroy the Schikis system forever.
Personally, I believe Fuji would like to safe them all now, but he is sooooo tired of Good actions resulting useles. (Actually, why is he so tired if he has just came in? I think that this is what is creating confusion: a new introduced character who is not firlmly defined but in the middle of changing his morals for the first time)
I think Fujitora has seen just as much as Akainu otherwise he wouldn't become a admiral. Doflamingo has been known for threatning members of the WG on one special occasion and he still remained as a shichbukai. This leads me to believe that Doflamingo has the WG under his control more than they have over him. The shichibukai system however is a different situation. Fujitora believes no one in the shichibukai is taking their jobs seriously.
Has it been 2 weeks yet? New chapter this week?
I wish oda would just release like 2-3 chapters a week, I really don't want to see like 5 or 6 chapters of Doflamingo as a toddler. And since there is going to be more long breaks in the near future, it should be fair to release that many for all those breaks. I am certain Oda already has a stash of unreleased finished chapters in his manga box. Win - Win situation. And One Piece won't be finished within 10 years by that rate. I would assume about 15 years and then the final arc will begin. But if breaks continue to happen, at least 30 years of One Piece left.
I don't see how Luffy will beat Doflamingo.
Last time Luffy attacked Doflamingo, he was sent flying.
Also Doflamingo uses multiple cutting techniques which puts Luffy at a huge disadvantage.
Someone stronger might have to appear.
Perhaps Monkey D. Dragon.
I don't doubt it except for the Dragon part. Every little information indicates that Doflamingo is a very high tier opponent. But most people believe that Luffy will win because that's how the story always go. I don't think we have had an antagonist that has such a dramatic history before. He also seems to be the center of attention in the new world because of his business. Luffy on the other hand is a emerging champion that is taking everyone out everywhere he goes. It'd be disappointing to see Luffy being stopped here, but also disappointing if someone as powerful as Doflamingo loses, that means Luffy is capable of competing at admiral level already. That means One Piece is ending within the next 10 years give or take.
I have to disagree with your predictions. First, Sabo fighting a subordinate of the guy Luffy is fighting seems… weird. Plus, there is a great narrative setup for Kyros taking on Diamante. I think Sabo might take on Jesus, or hold off Fujitora - those seem to be the best contenders for a matchup for him.
Meanwhile, I don't think Law is in any shape to really participate in a fight against Doflamingo; I think he might give Luffy some info about Dofla's powers, but I think Luffy will solo Doflamingo, or effectively so.
I don't really see many other obvious matchups, and I feel like some pieces still need to be moved into place. The big question to my mind is, who fights Trebol? Zoro is occupied, Sabo likely has bigger targets, Sanji isn't present, Franky and Law are in no shape to fight him. It would be a weird match-up, but maybe Don Chinjao ends up fighting him?
It is just a bunch of cluster random predictions now. This arc has already defeated some of the members of the SHs unlike the other arcs where everyone wins their fights. Just too many things happening and all the SHs are scattered. It seems Don Chinjao's character development is already finished the time he had his flashback with Garp and fighting Luffy. We are also forgetting Kin'emon, he is trying to find his friend I think, I think this would be the best match up. After all, Trebol is flammable? I mean he is convered in those flammable slime things. We'll get to finally see Kin'emon's true fighting strength, the only thing we know is he can use flames.
@mt:
About Fujitora I think that he just isn’t sure if the Doflamingo’s pull with the goverment exeeds his own
what I mean is if he could pull something like the fake newspaper article thing again and until he sure of the bounderys of that power he wants to tread lightly
Did the series ever explain when the shichibukai system was put into place? It may have been created by Doflamingo in order to have full control over Dressrosa. He has threaten the WG so many times yet they haven't tried to expel him of his title. I also wonder why Fujitora came to tell Doflamingo how he wants to abolish the shichibukai system and not any other shichibukai.
Did you read the chapter? Issho clearly said "Then I hereby revoke your title"
Law revoked himself by saying he was allied with Luffy. That is a rule that you cannot do as a shichibukai. [hide]http://www.mangabee.com/One_Piece/713/9/[/hide] When Law revoked himself, it was so Issho would go away so he could buy more time for Franky. A lot of people didn't understand that part why Law suddenly snapped and spoke out the truth. But that plan also failed to initiate. Issho wasn't going to walk away from this because law just simply gave up his own title. he was glad to leave by taking the forfeited title and go, but he then attacked Law which i believe is more of a capturing phase so he can bring him to the WG. You can say Law dumped his title into a dumpster if that makes it easier, but the dumpster wasn't going to be picked up anytime soon or fujitora is a prosecutor and the WG is the judge. As seen he clearly knew what Law was thinking so he spoke up and then he said "however". You can also check page 8 and he clearly says he will bring Law and the strawhats in. Hence why he is actually still a tentative shichibukai. Also Moriah was confused when he thought Sengoku revoked his title, and Doflamingo answered "nope. a higher up did"
Actually they can in certain conditions.
Though I am certain it is not common power and has to be verbally given even if its via through the Fleet Admiral, and we did see Akainu talk to Issho, so its possible that he got the okay to do so there
In the end of the Baroque Works story, Tashighi -who wasn't even a captain yet but a Master Chief Petty Officer - revoked Crocodile's status. So it is possible that marines can revoke Shichibukai status.
it was in ch 211
[hide] [http://www.onepiecebay.net/manga/mangas/One Piece/211 - King/One Piece - 211 - 13.jpg](http://www.onepiecebay.net/manga/mangas/One Piece/211 - King/One Piece - 211 - 13.jpg)[/hide]Question is the part of "the powers granted to me by the World Government" means.
I do not think its something that is always there, like their ability to arrest common criminals, where they talk about eh 'power vested in me" is their status as a law enforcement.
I think its a limited power the WG gives a marines officer in certain conditions, such as investigating rumors of a shichibukai abusing their powers.
looks like the WG was already suspicious of crocodile and gave her the opportunity to confirm and if it was true she could remove his title. They can't do it on their own free will. But as for Issho and Law, Fleet Admiral Akainu ordered the call so they can't revoke it personally. I believe that the WG is the one who decides it. It'd wouldn't make sense if the WG hired a pirate to become a shichibukai and then suddenly the next day a navy officer removed the shichibukai title because he didn't trust him.
Issho revoked his Shichibukai title. Chapter 713.
the navy doesn't have that sort of power. technically Law revoked himself though. The newspaper made the navy suspicious and came to confirm the truth. Law hesitated and claimed he was working with Luffy and Issho said was he was going to bring him in most likely for questioning. That's why he is still a tentative shichibukai. The navy and the shichibukai are both dogs under the WG.
All those theory flying around just make me stay on the other side of the room, but anyways here is my 2 weeks.
A young kid named Donquixote Doflamingo lost his mother at the age of 8 and killed his father at the age of 10, the circumstances are uncertain, but the young boy was exiled from his home country and was dropped in a remote sea called North Blue where he met a Young boy that received the name of Corazon, they forged a bond so strong that the people started to see them as brothers, the young boys did anything and everything in order to survive the hardship of their lands, years later they formed a pirate crew where the crew members they recruited were slaves that served under a group of people that are called "Tenryoubitos" and are known throughout the world as the savors… (To be Continued)
----------------------------------Home sweet Home---------------------------------------------
The two boys and their Pirate crew became world known due to different circumstances that involved Piracy (Dahhh), kidnapping and killing, but one of the brothers had a different view of the world, one completely different from his brother, who only craved for power and believed that there's no place for the weak on this world while the brother (Cozaron) believed in a world where everybody could be equal to each other, where royalty didn't matter, where blood or appearance didn't define who you are or who you should be, this brought conflicts between the two brothers to the point where the crew had to choose who they wanted to follow, some of the crew member choose to stay with the older brother (Doflamingo) while the others decided to leave with the Younger brother (Corazon), but the older brother didn't like what the younger brother has done, so he choose to fight with his younger brother and prove him that strength is everything in this world and the weak doesn't deserve a place on this world, the older brother's crew annihilated the younger brother's crew leaving only one survival, a 13 years old kid named Law, who was the apprentice of Corazon, Doflamingo spared Law life due to the memories, resemblance and attitude the young Law had that reminded him about his younger brother...
You forgot sanji. Corazon was seen lying on a bed too. I think how Corazon ended up dying was due to a heart failure and no doctor could heal it and the last thing he wanted to do was eat something good. So he went to the baratae restaurant in North Blue and soon died afterwards. The heart failure was so bad that no doctor could heal it and that's how Law dedicated his life to become a heart doctor. Law blamed Doflamingo may because he was the one to inflict the heart damage OR because Doflamingo wasn't there to protect Corazon because he believed in his brother's power so Law's hatred turned towards Doflamingo, not the killer. But then again Doflamingo said he cared about his executives more than anything, I am sure he would never turn against Corazon. Law took the heart seat and Doflamingo missed his brother so much he started calling Law his brother. But then again doflamingo did damage Law pretty badly for betraying hm.. maybe it was a hashirama/madara dilemma. And actually I don't know if Law took the heart seat or not, maybe he wasn't a executive.
Corazon is alive, Dragon's brother(Luffy's uncle) saved him, his name is Monkey D. Stalin it's gon be a different type of revolucionary, a commie.
Then Cora joined his army and we will see him later on, meeting with Law again.
I was thinking the exact same thing. Everything fits even better than a puzzle!
Meh. Not much happened. Even last weeks chapter, in all of its nebulousness, was better. I really fulminate that Oda decided to, once again, give Zoro's opponent for the arc a claymore (the moment had no buildup whatsoever, but then again Kaku wasn't developed to be a swordsman and nor was Daz Bones, to be honest). Come on Oda, for once, give Zoro an opponent that doesn't use a blade. I initially thought Pica would be that opponent, but I digress, it doesn't seem like its going to happen. Sigh. On a more optimistic note, its nice to see Oda mastery of Checkov's gun. The fact Oda may have had Corazon in his head before Chapter 0 is just amazing.
I think because Zoro is only allowed to fight people with swords after all that is his dream. Luffy is more of a freestyle fighter so he's allowed to fight a variety of opponents mainly the antagonist of the arc. Swordsmen appear to be very common so Zoro is the best fitting for those fight scenes. We don't want to put a bear against a fish, we want to put a bear against a bear.
So we will be getting 2 chapters after break and then another break with 2 weeks without chapters.
Damn.. at that pace next time I will see Sanji will be around end of this year..
no chapter this week?
@Mr.:
Found this elsewhere, and thought it was interesting.
or she's just fat and that's what happen to fat people. Oda's way to stop obesity.
No wonder the spoiler was so short, nothing happened just some arguments about defeating doflamingo.
You mean, like Robin can grow members on everything in sight ?
it's her ability to grow things. And it's limited as in places, range, and size. We never seen her make a leg appear in midair right? If that was possible she could kick earth to crash into the moon. Stuff like this is just impossible.
Or simply doesn't want to turn him into an OP Magneto, more like the current "broken" one.
Realize that it's a kids manga still please, no matter the amount of thought I, you, we all put into it.
I think devil fruits can only have one purpose. and that it belongs inside of the person. We have never seen anyone who can manipulate things outside their boundary. Kid's fruit allowed things to attract to him and repel away from him, this because he ate the devil fruit. It's not like he can make someone's body malfunction from just thinking it. Kuzan is a prime example, he had to touch things to freeze or shoot out ice to freeze things from his body. We have never seen kuzan just "think" and something just freezes. The only thing I can see kid do is pull people and push people like pain in naruto.
What you're saying is that, because we know that Kaido posses an army of AZF, every zoan fruit is now more fitting to Kaido or am I reading too much into your words?
just saying that he should have an overpowered zoan devil fruit.
Actually there's an unknown foot in the scrapyard with some (…), this guy most have some sort of Devil fruit power that allow him to blend in with stuff, Chameleon may be.
a chameleon zoan type devil fruit is fitting for Kaido. the special effect about it is that wherever he is, he can use that type of element. For example if he was near a fire he can shoot out fire or if he was near rocks he can create walls or trap people and may be he can withstand the sea so he can actually summon waves of water at people.
@Just:
Bellamy is representative of the differences between Doflamingo and Luffy. He is absolutely going to play a vital role in Dofla's eventual downfall.
he might become the next SH crew member! He is going to be like nico robin "I have no where else to go" and then Luffy is going to be like "ok then, you may join" and everyone will be like "whaaaaat"
My bad mate, I was just thinking of Barto at the time so I just went with it. That being said, now I find myself wanting to see the slimey chap going against Barto. Wouldn't be averse to seeing more of Cabbage though.
Looking forward to the fights, I've really found myself liking the Doffy family.
I've always been a fan of the doffy family. they can actually fight and has such hax powers. more hax than the crocodile baroque works.
@Yonkou:
Is sword Shanks one swords legendary 12 strongest in the world????? I expect the emergence of yonkou all in one place
kaido >big mam >teach > The low probability shows Shanks
we don't know yet. until Shanks says "kaido is stronger than me" your opinion is as good as any other!
Jora is on Green Bit and the bridge has been destroyed. Unless someone goes there with a boat which is definitely not easy.
I think during the time frame of all those events that took place in Dressrosa, they are already on a ship. Big Mom ship that is, possibly defeated and captured. Sanji is strong, but against a fleet of like 3 or more huge pirate ships along with those 2 stoogers from fishmen island? nope. unless nami steps up her game, they have no chance of winning.
