It's no less absurd than Rush (scanlations) which begins to lose credibility every time someone posts a speed-scanlation up ahead of them, or F****-manga (the ES21 scanlation group) which while perhaps relevant, is a bit offensive
Why not a pun on one of the "numbered" things (elder stars, gods of pirates/armed seas/warlords of the sea) in OP with your actual group size?

Well, we already have to get a new site, so that's not a problem… and, although I've never used vBulletin before, I'm sure it's very simple to change the name of a forum, I know it is on other forum software.
As for why we want the namechange... it's because, y'know, Gerusama left. He's gone, nobody knows where he is, he just... disappeared. So, there's really no reason at all to have the group named after him if he's not even here any more. XD

I knew a guy that did that once. He made a comic from scenes in an online game. Anyways I gave him some good ideas, and he dissapeared a couple weeks later. no response, site stopped updating.
I didn't know Geru-san left. That explains it. I was really curious.

that names too good. It'l lprobably end up something like whatsit called, BalF or whatevr I just found today, which basically jsut did a few episodes where the gap between KF and the other subbers were. BalF. weird names, reminds me of throw-up.(Barf, Ralph)
I like Grand Line Fansubs too. I wish they'd chang etheir font to be mroe like KFs, or a slightly more smoothe ADC version, which upon closer inspection reveales kinda-curvy edges. Now that'd be a nice font, and I might, you know, watch Geru-Sama's Water 7 subs.

I dunno if I want to even bring that up with people, though, or it'll take probably… three more months to release. >_< We did a quality check, and found about... three-four errors, and it took weeks to get the next version out, for some reason. XD I just don't know anymore, encoding can't possibly take that long, yet we still haven't released... Despite the fact that about... a month ago Cheez said that he could have it done the next week sometime.
So... your opinion has been noted, I may bring it up if it seems like it can actually be dealt with... but, um, that's about all I can guarantee. XD

Needs to be a good color, and shape and size, and well, not everyone will always like it. I used you guys for Special 4, and the font was, well, boring, hard to read, thin and small, and the yellow/brownish color looks weird and makes it stand out too much from One Piece's colors. IT stands out in the bad way. White generally seems to work. Rigt now it looks like some proffesional sub font, which of course has to be perfectly square because you ever know what'll happen if someone finds it hard to read. sigh

Hm… well, if I ever get a good chance to mention font stuff to people, I'll mention color as well... but I know that everyone was pretty against white, for some reason... I personally don't care whether it's white or off-white or slightly yellow or what, as long as it's not that bright yellow from before. XD But the others did seem to really prefer it have some color, from what I remember...
But I'll keep it in mind. ^^

I personally like the yellow cause its not too bright (like white) and not too dark. Its easy on the eyes, seeing how the subs are pretty much gonna be what you're focusing on most of the time.
But of course I haven't, and as far as I know, anyone, had any problems with K-Fs subs.

It's nice to know that people do like how it is. XD It'll probably end up coming down to whether there's more people that like it or if there's more people who want it changed. So, thanks for telling me that you do like the yellow. ^^

My local anime club played the Edo Era Special (it's been nearly a year since that aired….damn) and we got some positive remarks on the Gerusama Font. Then again we are airing these on a huge screen, so it is usually easier to read (except K-F's Usopp attack font would get all ugly)

It's a direct download site, just like he said. Highly convenient for people who can't use torrent for some reasons (they're on a dorm, blocked connection etc…) so I'd think that kindness is with this person, but he broke the second rule on the site:

I like Gerusama's old font. It's nice and skinny and yellow, yet large enough to read.

Older font was better. The primary reason I value ADC and Gerusama over K-F is I hate K-F's font; it's just too dang ugly for me to follow up. Their special attack graphics are pretty good, though I can't say I care for green as the colour of Luffy's "Gomu Gomu" attacks.
