Hehe, Neko is Mexican ^^
hm, since there is a thread around here where people talk to each other in Japanese or Indonesian… maybe there should be a Spanish thread...?
-
I'm not Mexican, but I have Mexican friends and co-workers.. also I'm a sucker for Guacamole. I'm anti-bull fighting however.
-
I'm not Mexican but I do know how to speak Mexican….Er Mexican is Visayan on the little bit ryt?
-
No. "Mexican" is Spanish with a few differences here and there.
-
Spanish is technically more like traditional, more formal. Mexican is slightly less formal most of the time. i guess it depends on which part of Mexico you grew up in XD
I noticed the difference in the Spanish One Piece dub, they talked differently than I was used to…
-
Im mexican. I live in the north part of mexico for like 6 years. (the first 6 years of my life acually heh)Believe it or not there is only 3 kinds or race's in the whole world. To put it in english White,Black and Asian. Therefore in that theory mexican's are half Asian and half White interesting eh?
-
I am what you would call a "twinkie". In other words, a Korean-American.
-
I am pretty sure joekido is mexician if I remember right.
Bingo! I'm an Mexican. I made a topic before asking the same question
-
I'm Mexican, well sort of. I'm a Mexican citizen and I have a Mexican passport, but I wasn't born in Mexico. My mom's from Mexico, though.

Speaking of Spanish, I learned from my history class that the Filipino's were under Spanish rule for more than 300 years. ANd MAgellan got killed by Lapu-Lapu, a Muslim from the Philippines who denied taxation since Magellan was just a guest in the archipelago acting bossy and such (these times was when the Philippines wasn't under Spanish rule yet and this was the 1st time the Spanish set foot on the archipelago at Mactan). So Magellan died in Mactan in his battle with Lapu-Lapu and a pack of years after that Villalobos came back with settlers to conquer the land.
Unforunately the Spanish forbid the teaching of their language to us, maybe they're scared that we would rebel against them.
Kinda makes it very close for us to speak Spanish.
Nevertheless I have heard that Spanish and Visayan language have little similarities. -

Nevertheless I have heard that Spanish and Visayan language have little similarities.and yet they taught spanish as the 2nd or 3rd language (sorry, dont remember the order) in colleges until the 1970s. how ironic.
and Tagalog has its similarities with Spanish as well. all the dialects have been influenced in some ways.

Dunno, I've never had spanished lessons before
, but I have heard about Spanish as a 2nd language here in the Philippines. Neways, it's not here now.
Dang I don't know, but there's something I hate about ourselves, we can tend to be very flexible sometimes when it comes to the allegiance, or are we just easily decieved or something like that?
Visayan is more on the Spanish side than Tagalog, like
TAGALOG = SPANISH = VISAYAN = ENGLISH
Isa = Uno = Uno = One
dalawa = dos = dos = twoI dunno. Maybe I suck at history.

I'm Mexican, but I was born and live in California.
