Such ugly bodies…and is that blood even shooting out of Zoro?!yeah, that does look odd. though aside from that, I thought this was one of the best animated episodes. I'd say the more closeup shots looked a lot better… maybe because of the way the animators were drawing them to begin with... Zoro was really broad with skinny legs, same with Mr. 1... so i guess from far away, it was a little difficult to draw without losing too much detail or laying the inks on too thick.

some of these recent pics, I fail to see what is wrong. I don't considder wee little people very far back in the background to be poorly drawn, if they're too small to draw detail. As for the Alabasata group pic, Nami is looking up. That's why her eyes look like that. It's the perspective of her face.

I actually find it a little creepy. Regardless of the manga, her face structure looks weird, bigger and wiggly. Way different from how Conis normally looks.

That's probably because it's smaller in the manga. I imagine that Oda never intended that image to be blown up like that.
