Today, I got up and went to work. Was actually there one time, trying really hard to do that everyday. Work was ok. After work, went to school. I had test in both my classes last week, one on Monday and one on Wednesday. Got the results back tonight and I am very happy. I made an A on my algebra test (the second one in a row, if you knew how bad I am at math, you would agree it is a miracle) then I got an A on my History Test. I am making A's in both classes. I think not being able to go to school for so long, then finally going back makes a big difference. I am more motivated to work harder. Now I need to do the dishes, clean the cat box, and go to bed.

I'm pissed. It may not seem major to you, but I'm pissed. My World Civ Grade Average is 89%. Which is what I figured it around to be, but I have never gotten a B+ since fourth grade. It's that shitty group work I have to do in class that brought my grade down. My teacher, despite all her rambling about giving us PM's (detentions) and indeed giving out PM's every second, she doesn't seem to realize that there are…. not as focused people (not including me, hehe)... I mean... the not so smart unable to achieve and just slow down the group work to the point where I get D's or Check Minuses on projects instead of at least B's. And that the one time she collects our homework and actually takes a look at them is the time where the questions she asks are the most vague. And that shitty notebook check where she marked me down on things I didn't do, things I don't normally do in any case that she never told us specifically to do, and things I was unable to do because the World Civ book doesn't exactly go in Chronological order. And some other stuff. Which is ironic, because World Civ is my only class that isn't honors (minus Gym and Health, but they don't count) as it is the only choice for Freshmen, and I'm doing the worst in this class.
But that's not the part I'm really pissed about. I'm pissed because she didn't boost my average up one point to make it an A- because I passed a test in her class that gives us an extra point to our World Civ average if we pass. And that one point is the difference between me getting an A- or B+. And when I ask her if that's my grade including the extra point, she's like, wait, what extra point? Then I tell her about the test and she's like "That's just a grade, you don't get any points. Ask the teacher next door. She'll tell you." When
1. I clearly remember her saying on the day of the test that you get the extra point if you pass the test.
2. After class ended (end of the day as it's last period), I ask some people and they confirm what I believed: that you do get the extra point if you pass. But unlike the other teachers, My teacher just has to be the one that leaves right when the bell rings, so I'm screwed and the grade's turned in now.O yeah, and I realized that my Health teacher looks like Dick Cheney. And that I got a 97% average in his class. Which is awkward, because I have all my papers and got full credit on each one. So that narrows down the possibility of a lower grade to two things: one, that poster project that I did as a group had to have gotten an 82 or lower, which I don't think is right, because I remember my group doing a damn good job on it, or, two, I'm a guy. And My teacher shows extreme signs of fondness (putting it lightly) of girls.

I got home from work and was making supper in the kitchen. My roomate wakes up and emerges from his room. Talking wierdly. He goes to the bathroom to freshen up, and comes back and starts talking to me like it's morning. (getting eggs out for breakfast and everything) I tell him It's 6 in the EVENING! He looks at me confused. and I try to remind him, that last night, this and this happened, and this morning, you were awake, and this and this happened. He could not remember for several minutes. I had to keep debating with him, till he clued in and remembered something. lol That must have been some nap he had.
After we had supper, the Korean roomate asks me if I've seen His and Her circumstances. Yeah, I own the series. He wanted to show it to the "disorented roomate" (cause it's so good) We all heated up some bags of pop corn, and watched 3 episodes together. The roomate who was new to the series, had all these questions about japanese culture and stuff we kept explaining to him lol. It was good though. Then we turned it off, and headed back to our own rooms.
I grab my towel for a shower and procceed to walk out my door to the bathroom near by. Then, I hear footsteps coming up the stairs. It's the other roomate, he has his towel around his neck. We pause…and look at eachother for a moment. then we grin, and race for the bathroom! lol. Hilarios! I got to go first though, cause I have to go beddy bye first.

I've spent most of today trying to prepare myself for the "real world". I'm planning to move out of mother's house and make it on my own. It's scary, really. I don't know if I can succede here.
Time to start studying for that test to get a full time position at work. Time to start apartment hunting. Time to start slacking off and putting off almost everything. Mostly, it's time to stop cowering in fear everytime I find myelf sociall interacting with others.

Today I mailed out most of my christmas presents. Wanted to beat the rush. $40 later. lol I called my friend's sister to make sure I got the right address, and found out my friend is moving next week. Damn it. (oh, this is her b-day gift btw) It might make it there on time. lol
On my way home, the bus pulled up to my stop, the back door opened, and as soon as I stepped off, this jerk blazes by on roller blades, not aware of his surroundings and almost crashes into me. doesn;'t even turn his head to see if I'm ok. If you are on wheels on the sidewalk, you should slow down for pedestrians. the sidewalk is for them. I always slow down on my bike for people.
ah, only 50 bucks left for the week. It's gonna be pasta, stirfry, and soup for me this week. all cheep to eat. Aw, I can do it, I did it last week, and still had enough cash yesterday to buy those cool pj pants I saw at work. :) The human resourse lady at work, said I would be getting the raise I requested soon. I hope she was right. It would be nice to get ahead a bit.
They hired a lot of new cashiers, so I am not getting 40hrs next week. i'm trying to move to another department where I can get a full time position. :)
I'm so anxios to finish buying presents, but I gotta watch myself. I still have to mail my mom's gift. buy my friend's present, her grad gift, another friend's b-day present. ^_^ I love Christmas!!

Got to sleep in this morning, I made all my stuff that I was assigned to bring last night. We went to my mothers. I was mad because nobody told me what time dinner started. They never tell me anything. But they still weren't ready by the time I got there. Everyone loved my Hello Dolly cookies and the pumpkin dip I made. Then we played Yatzee and skipo, and cranium. Decided that we were going to stay at my sister and brother in laws house. My husband was out already and I called and asked him to go and feed the dogs. He didn't want to, I got mad because I do Everything around the house. I went and fed the dogs. Then he said I was sassing him too much. Grrr..sometimes I really hate being married!
Anyways..it was a pretty good thanksgiving.

Clock is just half past three, but so far me and some friends joined a lottery and went around in a mall selling. Money goes to class trip. Other than that, I have a math exam tomorrow.
I expect something around 4+/5. In Norway 6 is the top grade, 1 is the lowest. Soooo, yeah.

Yesterday was slow and when i went to go see my friends they were being assholes and almost ripped off a girl and we had a fight about. My bestfriend's girlfriend was being an ass with me and threated my friend, oh but I get a weekend off of work since I got my thumb cut deep into my skin, and now I can barely use the computer and I can't play my Wii -_-
Haha its funny cause I always have something like this happen to me, no one at home was surprised and they concluded that Iam "an accident waiting to happen" ( I got stitches on my face from a dog; I got stitches on my leg from broken glass from picking up our trashbag to throw it away and mind you I accidently broke a pickle jar, and I got shot in the eye by a paintball.)
EDIT: Aww I just remebered I have to finish my Dred Scott Case essay and I can't go to a close friend's birthday party haha.

Today was a good day. Went to look for a new hard drive this morning, ran around, had a nice lunch. Had to go to work at 3. I got a second job to pay for school, so now I work at Petco. It is about the most laid back place to work. I enjoy it a lot. I am in aquatics, so I take care of the fish. I scrub about 20 aquariums,and sold some fish. I had a customer come and ask if he could look at the ball pythons. I told him to be careful, one the the snakes is very moody and will strike. What does he do, he pops his hands in there and picks up two of them. I told him that one of them is shedding and can't see very well, and may be a little defensive. He looks at me like I am crazy, then scream "Damn he bit me!" It drew blood, we put the snakes back up. Then his girlfriend wanted to look at the rabbits. Nice combination, the guy wants a ball python and his girl wants a rabbit. I can see that relationship going down the drain when the snake eats the rabbit! Other than that, and getting my first paycheck from there (YAY I can pay my tuition bill) it was a pretty good day.

There's been too much on my mind today... I'm almost done with my work, but even though I'm so close to finishing, I can't keep myself motivated... I have 6 out of 10 portfolio pieces completed so far... the other 4 shouldn't take too long to do, so I should be done in time... I hope. God I hope so. I was such a relief that I didn't have to work on Saturday, that gave me more time to work on my stuff.Ack! 2 more days!!

I got called in for a shift yesterday. Taht's fine, I needed an extra shift for this week. I got put way down at the end, where our second express lane is. No one knows it is there, so for half the day, I was just standing there like a moron watching customers with full carts of groceries walk by.
I'd call the guy supervising the front end that day, and tell him, I'm just standing around there. (no point in me getting paid for standing around) Can I go do some returns. (cause I can see they are piling up) I get told to stand around some more. (like i'm some impatient kid, who can't stand around for a min. without getting anxios) about 15 min later, he walks by and sees me so bored from standing around, that I am wandering around the tills in my area cleaning things and collecting carts left lying around. "you can close and go do returns" "Well duh, why didn't you send me when I called you"
I guess it wasn't that stressfull at work, but I hate being paid for just standing around. A bit is fine, but not for my whols shift. I did get one dumb lady try to sneak through with a full cart. I had a line. everyone else had a few items, yet she is too blind to see that, or the sign that says express 1-8 items. My manager walks by and tells her, this is an express lane you have to go to another till. The lady says ok, and my manager walks on. Then she keeps putting stuff up. I stop what I am doing with my current customer, turn to her and sternly say "mam, this is an express lane. you can't be here. You have to go to another till" finally it clicks to her, and she leaves. stupid lady >_>
I got home and had laundry to do, supper to cook, never cleaned my pets cage, will have to do that today after work. New roomie was now using my futon as a bed, instead of his air mattress in his room.
I'm sorry, maybe I'm a bitch, but he never asked me once, if he could touch my furnature I have stored down there. also, I did not pay money to buy this stuff for other people. If you need a bed etc, go buy your own. It is not my job to supply one for you. there are like 6 IKEAs in the GTA. You can get a cheep matress for $100, and a bed frame for another $100 if you are so enclined. We also have several second hand stores around. I disasembled the futon, and put the other stuff in storage.
In other news, My friend and I are gonna go hang out in toronto on thursday. Beign grown up sucks sometimes, because life gets in the way. Finally we have a day off together, and free time to hang out.

Went to college for 7 hours, came home 2 hours ago, finally fixed the wireless internet connections that's been faulty since forever! The main reason it stopped working was that Microsoft' damn SP2 reset some of it's Firewall settings and meant I couldn't access the internet while my network was active. Finally got some tips today at college and I have at last fixed it!!! I think my day has ended on a fairly high note.

I am currently freaking out…. I just finished 10/12 portfolio pieces and they're being printed as of now.... My class is at 6:30, but I'm so afraid my teacher is going to hate my stuff -_-;

My day in florida was. Fairly warm and borderline hot to the point when walking to and from school put sweat stains on my shirt.

I was snowed in again for the third day in a row. Schools have been closed for two days so I've been enjoying a nice fat four-day weekend ^^
It kind of sucks that I can't really go outside, though. It stopped snowing, but there's this Arctic outflow that's pouring through here and making it really windy, and the windchill is like -19 Celsius. Plus, it's supposed to snow tomorrow morning, so I might have a third day off. The roads are covered in sheets of ice, and it's not melting because it's so damn cold. This is definitely not normal B.C. coast weather >.<
Anyway, my day was boring. Basically lounging around the house doing nothing. Can't leave the house in this weather. I did discover today, though, that I'm a master at completely and utterly wasting time doing nothing of any importance.

Everyone in NY and their mother has a cold apparently.. except for me, that is I didn't.
So yesterday, I'm feeling my throat is kinda scratchy, and I go to sleep at 9pm, fall asleep easily and get woken up by my mother at 11 for god knows what reason, she came in and knocked over the candle I had on my desk and she screamed waking me up. I ended up sleeping at 6am due to insomnia after that rude awakening and I woke up at 8am.
Why does this matter? Remember the scratchy throat? Well now it's a full blown cold, which is just great, because I couldn't finish my paper for class today and my professor made fun of me, and then made fun of my cold. And since I don't have morning classes tomorrow, I can't sleep too early tonight or I'll fall asleep during my night classes tomorrow.
You're lucky to have nice weather Cochise.. It's been a crappy day here, thanks for hearing my vent.

Today was a bad as yesterd and the day before that. I just can't do anything else that eat and sleep and shit no matter how i try. I haven't been at the Uni for 2 weeks and looks like i won't be going there anytime soon unless someone decides to kick my ass out of the apartment … and so far noone is interested in that anyway. So maby i'll just die from all the boredom.

My day was ok. I watched some episodes of Rurouni Kenshin, ate only cereal, a croissant with egg & cheese, and Sun Chips. After that I went to college, my only class didnt start yet.

Ahh, nothing like 13 special children and 8 adults in one room to liven up the day. It was pretty fun though, because we hardly ever get to socialize with the other assistants. It is really cold here. Yesterday it was in the high 50-low 60s, today it is like 20 degrees outside. We are expecting the worst winter storm in five years. It is suppose to rain ice this evening, then turn to snow. We are all hoping school gets called off tomorrow. I didn't go to class tonight. I wouldn't get out of class till after 8, and I don't like driving on icy roads. Besides, my school is way across the city. It is nice. I usually don't have an evening off till Friday, School on monday and Wednesday evening, Petco on Tuesday and Thursday evening, and my job at the school during the day. I am going to relax tonight.

I live in Oklahoma too, and it was cold today. My career planning class is in a different building, so I had to walk. By the time I got there, I couldn't feel my face. Other than that, a good day. I had academic team practice and book club. I love school, and I hope it doesn't get cancelled tomorrow (I'm a total geek), though I am hoping for some snow.

I WAS UP AT 5AM today! whoo! lol I have today off, and my friend got called into work, so no point in going to the city today. Maybe I'll go see a movie. Maybe i'll stay home and be a blob? Our weather's been pretty extreme lately. Just two weeks ago we had a big tropical storm from the Philippines that knocked power out for a few days.
Anyway, today was pretty ordinary. I'm finding it harder to dodge Zelda: Twilight Princess spoilers, as I witnessed today. Even Nintendo Power is against me. But the temperature is warming up and the snow is melting, and now we're supposedly having a quite temperate December, so we can brag to the rest of Canada again ^_^

It's finally starting to get a little cold around here in California. Thank god, it's been almost a year of incredible heat.
I spent most of today playing the Wii, mostly working on my miis. I finally got my Michael Jackson mii to look just skeletal enough, and as well as finished my Usopp, Tashigi, CosmicDebris, & The Sentry miis, bringing my collection to a total of 52.
A few hours ago, I got a call from mother saying she was in the hospital. I rushed for the place, asking everyone I saw for directions, just to play it safe. Thank god she was safe.
She's home now, asleep. As of now, no changes in her health. :)

I just called in sick to work today! Now I can fully enjoy my birthday weekend in an irresponsible fashion. Last night, myself & a couple of friends went to the H.A.A.G. Classic Arcade & Pinball Expo! My god, there were so many games that I remember playing as a child. They had an original PONG cabinet, as well as those awesome 2-player Ms. Pac-Man cocktail tables! I even played an original Missile Command cabinet!!! Bringing back all those nostalgic feelings truly made for a memorable beginning to my 27th year of life! And thanks to all those who wished me well this weekend…

I am sitting here at 12 am waiting for my Ipod to finishing loading. It seems to be taking forever. I had to reformat it to work with my laptop (to get my stuff off the Mac) It has been a long day. My alarm went off late today, so I woke up at 7:05, had to be at work by 7:45. Did good was just 10 mins late. Found out last night while I was working at Petco, that my grandmother passed away. I knew it was coming, so it didn't hit me as hard as I thought it should. I am ok, as long as I don't talk to my mother. She is taking it really hard, and when she cries, it makes me cry. It has always been that way. The funeral is Friday. My back it is killing me, and it doesn't help that I lift 50 + Lb kids all day long. I am so tired of that job. It is just the fact that I like my two coworkers that I stay. Had my last Algebra class tonight. I am going to take the final on Sat and be done. I think I actually made an A in that class. Hell must have froze over, Brandee got an A in a math class!!!! I have one more History class, that is to just take the final. I was so pissed, Last week a winter storm came though, and they kept telling us the roads were gonna get icy. So I didn't go to class that night. The ONE time i have missed a class all year, and he give a quiz. I hope I can make a high enough grade on this test to keep my A.

Today I woke up at 5am for work. god kill me. It was kind of nice to be done at 2:30 though. I should have gotten an olympic medal for all the running around I did this morning. We were open at 7am, but my manager doesn't come in till 9am. So, I took our override card from upstairs incase we needed it. Customer service is suposed to have their own, but it was misplaced this morning. therefore, we had to share ours with customer service.
So, all the cashiers were on their lanes, including me, as we were supoded to. We are not suposed to leave our tills unatended, but I had to keep running back and forth from customer service with the override card. I felt bad for this one customer I had, who had to wait for me. Meanwile, I'm running back and forth like an idiot, with customers waiting at my till, and this new cashier keeps whining, can I have my sticker drawer opened. (not an urgent or needed thing) I finally barked at her, you don't need your damn stickers, I've got a line up to deal with right now.
THEN, the guy who was schedualed for self scan didn't show up for like an hour. I didn't even notice, till a customer comes to my lane and asks if someone can help him over there. I rush through my last customer and close up, so I can go work at self scan.

Um, what else. Oh Oh! Oh! guess what I found! I couldn't believe it! I was christmas shopping, when I walk into microplay at square one…..and they have a copy of THE ORIGINAL MEGAMAN GAME FOR NES!! I have been looking for that for years!!! I got myself an early christmas present. OMG OMG OMG!! (incase you don't know, this is a VERY rare find)
As well, today, I was on my PC, checking out AP, as usual, when all of a sudden, I get a request from someone to be added to my MSN list. It was my mom!! (my mom is computer illiterate, btw) My uncle was over showing her how to use it. ^_^ so now I can talk to my mom on MSN cause she knows how. I think this is kind of cool.
Now, should I go cook myself up a stir fry, or continue watching Dexters Lab on youtube? hmmmm.
Edit: my mommy is funny. She called to ask if her msn was working properly. We talked on the phone for a bit, when the power went out all over her town. She continues to keep me on her land line, and grabs the cell phone to call relatives in town, to see if their power is off. XD She called my cousin Dylan, and got me to shout "Hi Dylan" so he could hear me through the phones. again, my mommy is funny.

Today is a pretty shitty day or morning I've been up all night trying to finish this very big homework assignment thats due on monday. Right now it really doesn't look like it'll be finished plus I have to finish my social studies test, math homework that'll take some time cause me and math don't mix at all.
And on top of all of this I think my IPod is broken which is great because it is only a week old and costs about 300 dollars. The shitty thing won't turn off and is stuck in that "do not disconnect" mode.
And to add to that I've had this burning feeling in my eyes…I wonder if thats a sign to sleep.

Ahhh sorry to hear about that Bushi-dude, it sucks when girlfriends break up with people, I'm just glad to have pirateneko these days, its a lovely feeling having someone whom you love and loves you back ^_^
Anyways, at least there's one consolation in that you can sell the present (can't you just take it back to the shop tho?)
If it was that simple, I would… her 2 fave mangas are Nana & Paradise Kiss (shoujo fan, obviously), so I bought her this badassed Paradise Kiss Music Box that plays the opening to the animu... I got it on eBay, so it's a lil difficult... her other stuff, I'm talking back to the store...
