Has anybody seen it? Is anybody planning on seeing it?
For those who aren't aware this is a full-on Broadway Musical adapted from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, one of the greatest and funniest movies ever.
Personally, I am actually considering a trip to New York to check it out. If I had known that they were opening it in Chicago (I haven't been following it that closely - I thought they were still a year or two from making this happen) I would have gone up and dragged my sister to see it. As things stand I might have to make the trek to check it out. I love the hell out of Holy Grail and am quite curious about this.
Plus it has Tim Curry!
Anyway, back to the original question.
Anybody seen it yet? Anybody planning to?

I'd really like to, but I have no means of getting there.

BEST PLAY EVER!
They made the Knights of the Round Table Song and Sir Robin longer and funnier and added Life of Brian Song On the Bright Side of Life. Genius!
Knights of Ni is still there and when they say echy echy batoing zoop zontig, they go on for 5 mins with random sounds and words.
Like the fake credits there is a fake play book.
A song about Finland (or some other country) thats random
Killer Bunny LIVES!
FRENCHY LIVES!
No bridge where you fall if you get question wrong.
MUST SEE IT AGAIN! My frind got Eric Idles autograph. The Lucky Bastard. -

Must… see...ASAP... -
Yes you should. Now all we need is one for Life of Brian and Im set. I forgot to say that the actors playing the main characters also play the parts they were also in the movies. This is the year of the Python.
-
WAH!
this isn't fair. why do i have to live here, where i don't get to see the glory of this?
sounds too good. monty python! god, i love monty python. and tim curry?! vää.
and how can they possibly make those parts even funnier?
for this, i will be bitter for the end of my days. -
Anime Master, you have confirmed my worst fears.
I have to see this.
I just don't know when I can get to NYC. At least Chicago was only a 6 hour drive. NYC is like 12 hours or something (I hate to fly when I can drive). And add to that the expense of a hotel and the cost of the tickets (am I right in understanding that they range from around $90 to around $300?) and its not going to be a cheap trip. But I love Holy Grail I love Monty Python. I have to see this. sigh One more expensive trip to add to the list of things I want to do this year. I'm going to have to loosen my standards and cut corners on other stuff if I want to do this as well. I just wonder how long it will run with the cast as it is. I really want to be sure to see it with this cast so I figure I have at most a year to catch it before somebody moves on. -
Cant say how long i was. Though you might not get a show mith Mr. Curry. But still Python is Python. Im seeing it again in the summer with my dad. Sorry for making you go. But you wont regret it.

Nice to see it get some love.
My mom called me the other day and asked if I wanted to go see it with her. Kind of funny since she always considered Python to be a bit silly but whatever.- misread part of the article - edited apropriately

too bad i can't see it :(
hope you enjoy it all dudes! (and take a camera at the show ;) ) -
I got the cd. Wonderfull. Listening to Tim Curry sing Bright Side of Life was super. I like the Vegas version of Knights of the Round Table, Lady of the Lakes song in act 2 about her part, Finland, Runaway with the French taunting, and the song about I'm not Dead yet taken from scenes from the movie. Buy it. Its good. Also you cant forget about the Broadway song, where Patsy says they neeed Jews.
