Have you notice any traditions in OP? In other words, on-going cliches.
I noticed that in the manga, if a villain is defeated, it is ALWAYS shown in a big square that takes up the whole page.
So, anymore you notice? Or if you're bored, you can make it funny like "Have you notice that Luffy always wear a straw hat?"
Something I notice is that Nami's boobs always get bigger after an arc >_>

A running gag/tradition I've noticed is everytime Usopp unleashes a barrage of attacks the "Usopp Rubber Band" finds its way in there. It's occured at least three times (vs. Choo, vs. Miss Merry Christmas, bringing down the Giant Jack).

True. Didn't work on Miss Merry Christmas either (it happend in that case during the game of Usopp Pound Whack-A-Mole).
Something else I've noticed is that a lot of characters will have distinctive markings on their left side. Among the crew, Luffy's cheek scar, Zoro's bandana (on his left arm); Nami's tatto, bracelet, and Log Pose, Usopp's striped armband and gaint coin purse; Sanji's left eye is the one covered; Chopper's broken antler is the left one. Robin doesn't really have one, though in Skypeia she did wear an armband with "NR" on it I think on her left arm.

The Defeat Box premise above is violated by Arlong. He gets a tiny frame of his broken body (assuming the shot of his broken body right after Gomu Gomu no Axe is his last shot; haven't gotten the 4.06 ASJ yet)
I almost wonder if (especially considering Luffy's attitudes to it) Oda wants to portray Arlong Park as the villian– the prison for Nami, the symbol of the empire which was creating all the suffering for its subjects. It DID get a full two-page spread as it collapses at the end of 92 (or is it 93?)

no, they do that in lots of cartoons/anime. It's just a visual way of letting us know he got the snot beat out of him. Same thing as birds flying above a charicters head, or band-aids magicly apearing on an injured charicter.
I think luffy lost a few teath in a scene, where nami and usopp got mad and whacked him. But of coarse, in a real fight, we know luffy doesn't get the snot beat out of him, right ;)

Another tradition in One Piece I noticed is at least one flashback in every story arc. At least the Major ones; I mean, look:
Beginning (Romance Dawn, Alvida, and Morgan): Luffy's flashback and Zoro's flashback.
Buggy: Buggy/Shanks flashback, and ChouChou's flashback
Syrup village: Usopp's flashback, and Gaimon's (Ok, he's not on Usopp's island, but he appear's right before it!)
Baratie: Sanji's Flashback.
Arlong Park: Nami's Flashback.
Lougetown/Laboon/Whiskey Peak: Laboon's Flashback, and I think Smoker had one…
Little Garden: Giant's Flashback.
Drum: Chopper
Alabasta: Vivi
Jaya: Something about those monkey guys and Cricket...
Skypeia: Norland
Davy Back Fight: Not so sure about this one...
Water 7/Enies Lobby: Franky/Iceburg one, and Robin.

Zoro also has his ear rings on the left side but I guess that is a good thing.

One tradition I really like is the "after-party" following the big battles. Luffy and crew eat a lot, get blitzed, and dance around until dawn.
Also, do the name plates for new characters count as a tradition?

The mystery mountain was reverse mountain. The Mystery hole was when Luffy was trying to dig to help out .. Toto Tutu?… I forgot his name, the old guy in Arabasta, but when Luffy was digging on one side of the hole he was filling the other side. So the guy was like "Hey hey stop!" and told Luffy what Luffy was doing and how it wasn't working and so Luffy goes, "Oh I get it, it's a mystery hole!"
