Looking back at that califa pic i'm not really thrilled with her face, or how the shading came out in some places, so i went back and farted around trying to fix it. Still not entirely happy with it, but its looking better.

aaaaand some more dickings in photoshop and painter. Originally i was just going to practice my digital inking, but i wanted to color it (read: i got lazy with the lineart and wanted to color), so i played with the chalk brushes in painter. This was the result.
Also, for anybody interested i'm taking commishes.
I just noticed the new Mary pics. I like the "screen test" of emotions (glomps the depressed-looking one). I think she should infiltrate the Foxy pirates, she already has the mask. :innocent grin:

The leg closest to us looks like it should be larger to deal with the forshadowing. It doens't look like her thigh connects to the hip at the right angle. Also, you forgot to color her earring ^_^;
but aside from the constructive criticism, great work! the coloring is fnatastic and really helps flesh out the drawing!
i love how…. retro she looks. especially with those legs... if that makes sense. oh well, it made sense in my head.
but yeah, her earring is not colored :P otherwise, your coloring is god-like....

Besides what conekiller and neko said, the umbrella seems slanted. Other than that, superb job. I like how you drew and colored her face. Great work on those clouds as well.

Also, since people seem to think i color like a god, i really don't. I just have a shitload of reference books and photos. Most of what i have is fairly easy to find since they all came from barnes and noble. I also found this obscenely nifty…guide i guess you could call it since it's not a full blown tutorial at furiae.com. The artist also has a ton of other equally nifty tutorials about digital painting and i'd definately reccomend people check them out.
