People say the VA in One Piece is bad but its hard to act when the characters in the show can open their mouths as big as a train tunnel and you have to match the movement of their mouths that was intended for the fast talking Japanese language. The scene looks fine to me. Its better than suction cups and getting hit with a flaming arrow is a pretty good substitute, yet rather violent.@CosmicDebris:
Well, fortunately I'm not that shallow, I can take them covering their butts (no pun intended)
Yes you are. The thought of Usopp’s buttocks in a glistening in the steam room, makes you all hot and sweaty:laugh:
@CosmicDebris:
but I'll be quite enraged if they cut Usopp's speech in the Alabasta fight or turn it into a Chopper focused fight.
Well since they like to follow the original script that seems very unlikely.
@CosmicDebris:
I will laugh if they put on swimming trunks. I hope that's what they do. It'll be sad if they just cut it entirely. There's just no way they'll keep happiness punch, though, even if she had a swimsuit on.
Yeah, that scene is too salacious. They industry has improved the painted on swim trucks of late, so it may not be that bad.
@CosmicDebris:
Of course it will. Just look at their past sloppy edits. coughLuffywithsleavesandtentacleCroccough and coughpoisonsuctioncuptscough
OMG, my brother is suffering from Purist’s Disease. The symptoms are a lack of critically thinking, loss of long term memory, an obsessive need to micro-analyze every scene, finding fault in it every insignificant detail, inability to see positive side of the dub, setting unrealistic unreachable high standards, extreme biasness, and constantly recycling ancient history.
Dr. Hiriluk prescribes you take these doses of reality and call him in the morning.
The dub has allowed these scenes unedited that no other cartoon has allowed before. Two people getting shot, two people have lost limbs, kids getting beat on, excessive sword play and aside from the couchpoisonsuctioncupscough, they’ve left the Baratie arc intact. There I hope this treatment will someday lead to a cure to this mentally debilitating disease.
@CosmicDebris:
Yes, I know you're glad I'm here. I am the smartest and most profound, remember?
Just remember little brother, you’re MY clone, and you’re wearing MY genes, so if you look good, I look better.
