Just dwelling on a few things:
1. With Gear 2, Luffy could use Tekkai to block most of the cannonballs. Do you think he could combine Fuusen and Tekkai?
2. One of the reasons Kuzan is so lazy may be because he's related to Sengoku in some way. Uncle, perhaps? They don't refer to each other on a father-son basis, at least as far as we know… and they do look SOMEWHAT alike.
3. Kizeru has been absent from One Piece this whole time, and looks like may even be absent from Robin's flashback. Do you think HE'S the one guarding Raftel, along with whatever else is there? Yellow is the color of rot and decay... maybe he's a disgusting, diseased zombie.
4. Okay, I believe you guys when you say Zoro can cut diamond. But there has to be SOMETHING he can't cut... what's Mihawk's sword made of? Maybe it's an unexplained black material, and whatever Akuma no Mi Kaku ate will give him the power to become that metal.
Granted, the breath of ALL things is pretty much all inclusive... But I REALLY don't want Kaku eating a Logia fruit. Unless there's a logical way to beat them, the logia fruits cheesify the situation. Every Logia has a weakness:
Eneru is weak to things that do not conduct electricty (Like rubber)
Kuzan is probably weak to fire, obviously.
Smoker is weak to condensation (He turns into smoke/clouds, so throwing dance powder at him would solidify him)
Ace is also weak to Water, for obvious reasons.
Crocodile is weak to Water, too.
Did I miss any Logia users?
But regardless, NO LOGIA FOR KAKU, PLEASE.
5. I really really really want Calipha's devil fruit to make her REALLY REALLY fat, like Alvida was before eating the Sube Sube no Mi. That would knock her down a peg.
6. I know this was shot down in another post, but I'd also like to see Sanji use a Jet dial from Usopp on his leg. While Sanji's not the type to do that, if he wore one, it would DEFINITELY let him sink the buster call ships.
I called it wrong, so long ago. I guess this needs to be changed.

As far as we know, Luffy only knows Soru. Just having seen Tekkai and experienced its defensive power doesn't mean he'll automatically be able to go uber-rubbery or something. If anything, the maximum he could use would be the speed- and leg-based Forms: Soru, Kami-e, and Rankyaku, which rely on agility and quickness to be effective.

Just because two of the three Admirals of the present day were present at Ohara (and brought to our attention), that doesn't mean Kizaru can't have been promoted in another way. Assume that Kizaru was promoted for, say, turning in a great enemy of the WG. Or that he infiltrated such-and-such or so many pirate crews and brought them down. While I don't doubt the validity of a third option, the undead doesn't seem to be on Oda's radar.

Mr. 1 fulfilled the "breath of all things" angle with his steel fruit. Unless there's a deeper level to knowing breath (a possibility, though cheesy), having Kaku eat a fruit that makes him a friggin' Godskinned MFer doesn't exempt him from the theory of cutting with the breath. I do agree, however, that Kaku doesn't need a Logia. I'd assume it's a 'weak' Zoan, or some funky-ass Paramecia. Either one ought to be fine.

To change the body in such a way, it would have to be a Paramecia. We'd have noticed the change by now, so it really doesn't seem likely. There haven't been any obvious clues as to Califa's fruit, but I would assume a Paramecia.

No. Firstly, Usopp probably doesn't have Jet Dials, as they went extinct. Secondly, as you said, Sanji isn't one to rely on anything but his own strength and wits to fight. Thirdly, as far as I can tell, the Jet Dial just speeds you up, so unless he wanted to kamikaze a bitch, he'd have to sacrifice himself to cause a minor scratch in one ship. Whoo. Sanji's role isn't in taking down battleships during the Call, I'd bet; I can see him handling a Vice Admiral or two on the ships, while beating back the occasional lackey, easy.

There's a difference between Luffy being Luffy, and Luffy willingly heading into the most dangerous place in the world for no reason. Once he gets Robin (and Franky) back, he'll have no reason to continue, and I would hope even he has the sense to just beat the hell out of CP9 and then get out of there.

If Spandam takes Robin and Franky to the other side of the gate, Luffy gonna have to run after them and break the gate and beat up Spandam, yet there, if Spandam presses the button Luffy has to destory the BC AND he can get out back to Water 7 with Franky and Robin with them.

That would be assuming Spanda can muster enough force to take Robin and Franky beyond the Gate of Justice which, with six CP9 and six Strawhats tearing up the landscape, not to mention possible intervention from Galley-La and the Franky Family, doesn't seem likely. Franky I can see going down easy, with him being out of cola and lying broken on the ground and all. But…
Robin was seen in one of the last chapters before the flashback with her hands in an odd position. I would assume it's an escape attempt, but I can't be sure. If she does get out of the cuffs, though, Spandam's in for a world of hurt.
... I want that to happen.

He doesn´t have to do it willingly but it might just be a consequence of his doing. I mean back then in the Arabasta arc if you would have said that Luffy will destroy some buildings in Arbana then it probably also sounded strange since Luffy wouldn´t have any reason to do so. But after he punched Crocodile through pure bedrock the consequence was that some buildings were damaged.
I don´t see why the Gate of Justice shouldn´t be opened when Luffy knocks Lucci against it with his final blow. Actually that´s what I´m expecting the fight to end like. To open the Gate widely while Lucci get´s knocked against it.
But I don´t think that the Gate has to get broken because of that.

if oda gives usopp a jet or reject i'll be very disappointed. Even GonForr was amazed when he realized Wiper had a reject… but ok you can say they got one from Getatsu boot, unlikely but possible. If usopp has a more "rare" dial i would say it's Axe Dial to add a slashing and make him a more complete warrior (blunt from usopp pound,pierce from giant slingshot,slash from axeldial)

Let´s not forget that inside Nola´s stomach there might have been a jet dial laying around between the gold. The snake is over 400 years old so it might have swallowed one and the Strawhats accidentally took it with them when they went for the gold. It´s not that far off.

I have no problems with a huge dent on the gate or it being opened but not opened wide, that would be overkill.
Sigh, I´m trying to respond to that without using those words you don´t like to hear me say. So I´ll just say that the second where Kokoro said that the Gate of Justice "won´t open all the way" can actually be taken as a guarantee that this time it will open all the way.
I wonder though what will happen afterwards. :hmm:

I don't doubt that Luffy will manage to open the gate, and doing it by smashing Lucchi into it would be sweet to see…but wouldn't it be a bit too much like The ringing of the Bell? Visually, of course.

Well yes, it would actually. But then again, punching Crocodile through bedrock was the same actually. Ok it was a different move he used and it was vertical instead of a horizontal performance but other then that it is the same meaning that the opponent gets knocked against a strong solid object that gives in to the intensity of the punch.
Come to think of it, Arlongs defeat was also kinda similar to that.

I would prefer to see Spandam splattered on the gate of justice first, though. Actually, that would be sweet. Luffy punches Spandam so hard he hits the GOJ and makes a dent and gets stuck, then Luffy punches Lucci at him…

Personally, I want to see All of the Mugiwara open the gate at the same time, then turn to Marijoi and say:
Luffy: "Yosh! Let's kick their asses!"
Zoro: "Mihawk, I'm coming for you!"
Sanji: "I'm gonna kill this shitty World Government for hurting Robin-chan.
Nami: "The World Government won't hurt anyone anymore!"
Chopper: (Imitating Luffy) "Yosh! It's war!"

At their feet would be the beat-up bodies of the CP9 members, and Spandam is holding the Golden Den Den Mushi in his bloody hand. Luffy looks down at him, spits, and then steps on the Golden Den Den Mushi, crushing it.
